Cooler Master Gladiator 600 RC-600-KKN1-GP Black SECC Body ; Mesh Front bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Compared to the no name case this replaced, this is quite a step up. It was between this case and the coolermaster centurion 590. I went with this one, and I dont regret it. This one seems a little nicer looking: with the shiny bezel around the power button and front usb, and doesn't seem to have the same poor paint job people complain about on the 590. It accomodates big video cards and keeps temps down with all the extra fans and the bottom mounted power supply.

Cons: Like with any case with a bottom mount power supply, make sure cables will reach. Unlike the 590, does not have holes for a later upgrade to water cooling. Doesn't have a side window, which is a big deal to some, but IMO I would rather have the 2x140mm fans..

Overall Review: I had to find a case that would fit in a compact desk compartment, that supported a large video card (9600GT) and had quite a bit of cooling capacity. This and the very silghtly larger (by a couple inches) centurion 590 were the best cost effective solutions I found to fit such a compact space.

Pros: Looks nice, great step up from my build 4 years ago when I used a $20 Radimax case.

Cons: For P8P67 Deluxe, the opening to attach CPU cooler isn't quite big enough on one side to use included tool with Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus to tighten bolts. Case also blocks Marvell SATA ports. I'm using all 5 hard drive slots and have the power and SATA cables to go with it and it was a little difficult to get that side's panel on. Could have used a little bit more room.

Overall Review: Power and HDD LEDs are really bright.

Pros: - GG: In answer to the 2.5" install problem, I also found the toolless holder and adapter lacking when I tried to install my card reader. There are 2 issues to fix here- the adapter has small plastic ears and the devices mounting screw heads just go through the large holes of the little ears and crack 'em. A very effective fix is to use longer screws with the same thread and some small washers with an outside diameter (larger than the plastic ear), but the same inner diameter--basically a tiny fender washer. Feed the screw through the adapters outer hole, put a washer on the inner side of each screw with needle nose pliers, run all four screws into the device this way and it will be tight in the adapter-- tedious but it works well. Then remove the cases slide lock by prying up at the rear stop & remove springs by bending up the small tabs that hold them. Then simply use the regular length screws that came with the device to mount the bay adapter. Adjust for good face fit

Cons: My major parts wont be here till tomorrow, but I was installing the card reader until then, and ran into this mounting issue myself. I still love the case, this is just one of those design oversights that could be corrected with a different adapter possibly. Its really the only serious flaw I see, didnt realize it until I tried mounting my card reader. Im actually much happier with it mounted this way, a card reader needs to be tight so it doesnt move when pushing and pulling cards in and out. I like toolless mounts, but I almost always end up using screws to install the 2.5" devices, sometimes I even supplement the other bays with screws as well if needed. I dont remove things often enough for it to matter.

Overall Review: Parts coming tomorrow, if anything else modding I will relate it then.

Pros: Good looking case - appropriate for an office environment. Side mounted hard drives leave plenty of space for my EVGA GeForce GTX260 (10.5") card with enough room to route cables around it. Unlike previous reviewer, my Zalman 9500AT CPU fan fit on my GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard without any case fan clearance problems. This is my second Cooler Master case - I really like their design and quality.

Cons: Very minor nit - The expansion card tiedown clips work fine, but are tough to unclip with your fingers - they tend to grab your fingers as they pop open. Easy workaround is to use a screwdriver, key, pen, etc to release the locking mechanism and avoid a finger pinch. In those rare times when the clips don't hold the card in place very well, just use a screw (like old times) to hold the card securely.

Overall Review: One has to wonder about the competency of UPS. The driver came earlier than usual, and left a note on the door. He did not feel comfortable leaving the package on my doorstep - (NewEgg shipped the case in its original package - it was bright and showed a computer on all its sides). Fine, understandable - even in my quite neighborhood. I called UPS that evening and told them I would pick it up at the depot. The 800 number gave me the wrong operating hours, but the right address, thus I showed up a hour before the place opened and had to return an hour later. They could not find my packages, said they must not have been taken off the truck, so the truck will deliver later that day, the operator send the driver an email to deliver ASAP. I wait all day, but no package delivered. I call the 800 number again, and they tell me it was last scaned at the depot. The next morning I again drive across town - The depot, after an half an hour of searching finally find my packages. Yikes!

Pros: Very nice, elegantly designed case. Pictures do not do justice when you first see it with your own eyes out of the box. I fell in love with the tooless mounting, very easy and fun to install drives. Overall metal quality is outstanding for the price. Highly recommended.

Cons: Bottom psu design, my cpu power cable barely reached motherboard cpu power connector.

Overall Review: Buy it!

Pros: Great ventilation, Solid easy to install hard drive mounting clip system, Solid CD/DVD drive mounting system, Bottom mounted power supply bay, Plenty of space to work in with good wiring configuration. Zip ties included to bundle up unused wires and tie down others nicely. Good build quality over all and fairly light weight for a steel case.

Cons: The hard drive bay faces out so you MUST use a right angle adaptor for both SATA power and serial cables to be able to close the case. I don't see being able to use a IDE drive with a molex power cable with this case.

Overall Review: I've build computers with cases as expensive as the Stacker series and for the money I find that Cooler Master cases are extremely well made and easy to use all the way down to the lease expensive models. Go for it.

Pros: Solidly built. No flexing and no vibration. Very quiet, almost silent. The silly front-fan LED can be turned off. Cable-routing space is adequate, though not generous. Seems to keep the system pretty cool, and has mounting points for more fans if you like.

Cons: Smallish and tight, especially with a full-ATX board. (I was working with tight size constraints for where the case had to fit.) Lacks a front-panel USB3 connector, but I knew that when I bought it, so I'm not complaining. As others have noted, the reset button is tiny and needs a pencil or something smaller than a finger to push. Front-panel wires are not clearly labeled and it takes some guesswork to figure out which way they go on the mobo connectors. (Fortunately, I guessed right.) The "manual" is a single piece of paper with mediocre-quality pictures and no words except for picture labels. Case speaker is not attached to the case, it just dangles from two wires on the motherboard connector. It works, but it's pretty cheesy.

Overall Review: In spite of my gripes, I like this case and I'd buy it again. But it seems like Cooler Master could have spent a couple dollars more on better labeling, a better "manual" and mounting the speaker somewhere, and had a nicer product.

Pros: Heavy, solid construction like this hard to find. USB ports on the middle of the front (where they should be!!). Five 5.25" slots with sturdy tool-less locks. Bottom mount power supply. 3.5" drives face the side, rail system is good. Front mesh size is perfect for keeping out dust, just wipe off the dust with your hand occasionally--the dust stays outside, doesn't get stuck in the filters which would be a pain)

Cons: Only USB 2 since it is an old case. Wish it didn't have fan holes on the side. I cover these up along with the top holes. Also, not a problem for me, but the feet aren't very big it might not suck much air from below if it was on a rug (you can mount the PSU with the fan up if you like, but I find plenty of air gets into the PSU from within the case even when mounted fan down).

Overall Review: I own 2 of these and I needed a new case. After looking at every possible alternative I ended up buying another one of these and will just buy a USB 3.0 bracket to go in one of the external 5.25" slots or using the 3.5" included adapter.
