Pros: Looks sleek, case walls and inner metal pieces feel really sturdy. Awesome bargain. Virtually screwless design so it makes for easy assembly, unless you have to remove the face of it which can be a pain because the pins holding it in are a little hard to get to. Hard drives, dvd drives and everything that fits in the front of the case are really, really easy and secure without screws!

Cons: The only thing I don't like about it is how the cards, pci cards and the like, are secured. I don't know if it's because of the screwless design or what, but I have yet to make my graphics card and sound card fit really snug with the clips that secure it (in place of screws).

Overall Review: I think the fluorescent blue power led is pretty cool.

Pros: This is a great case and has an amazing price. It has enough room to fit a Nvidia 8800 GTX card. The screwless mounts for the drive bays made installing hard drives and CD drives easy. Plenty of hand room. the two fans are really quiet compared to other models I've used. Looks and feels very sturdy. Side panels are easy to remove and put back on.

Cons: The air shaped cone that funnels air from the CPU is awkward and pushed power cables onto the CPU fan. Rather than trying to re-tie the cables somewhere else I just removed the air cone (Simple 4 screw removal). That is the only bad thing and it was a simple fix.

Overall Review: Was able to fit a Gigabyte Mobo Nforce 590 ATX in with AMD x2 5200+ AM2 processor. There was enough room for 1 Nvidia 8800 GTX card however, if you want to run two in SLI then you will probably need to make sure you don't use the top slot on the bottom 3.5 bay.

Pros: I've used this case in 2 builds for customers. First off, I was surprised when I got this case how nice it looks. The pictures don't do it justice. The entire front panel is metal mesh, with open cell foam behind the entire panel. The drive bay covers screw in from behind so you won't accidentally knock one in. The front panel headers for the audio, USB, and IEEE1394 ports are in a single block to make it easy to plug into the motherboard. The audio headers have separate blocks for AC97 and Azalia HD audio, and also have separate pigtail ends in case your board doesn't comply with the standard pin outs. The tooless features seem to work great, although I "affixed with threaded studs" (scr3wed is a bad word apparently) the expansion cards in rather than using the card holder because the systems were going to be shipped by Brown.

Cons: The tolerances for the front bezel drive bays are TIGHT. This was not a negative for me personally, but some folks may get frustrated fitting the bezel over your installed drives. I put the drives in with the bezel off, then wiggled the bezel over one side at a time before locking the drives in place. There isn't much extra room to hide cables. I'd recommend using rounded cables for IDE and floppy drives if you use them.

Pros: I am a professional gear reviewer, and there is nothing worse than writing a review with nothing bad to say about a product. I have built many computers with many different cases. This is THE BEST case I have ever built in. I have been dissapointed in other cases that were (sometimes much) more expensive. Perfect. I have purchased several and will continue to purchase this case for every desktop I build.

Cons: There is one problem that other reviewers have noted. To install a new bay you must remove the front panel and unscrew the bay cover with two phillips screws. I do not consider this a con. I hate bays that are coming off or knocked off kilter. It would be a problem if the front panel were difficult to remove, but it is extremely easy. One other note, to show how nitpicky you have to be to find a con with this case; the front panel wires run through a small hole to the left (as you look at the front of the case). For the sake of a clean install I always pull them out of this hole and run them to the right side where they are more discreet and do not inhibit the airflow any more.

Overall Review: Buy this case! If you want a showy one, buy the model that is just the same but with a clear side panel. This case is the best for any price, even considering very pricy custom water cooled setups that I have done.

Pros: There is a reason there are 1400 Comments for this case: It's darn near the perfect case. It's inexpensive, strong, easy to work in, good looking and cools well. No, it's not a flashy beast, guaranteed to cause an outbreak of tumescence at a Lan Party, but it is easily the most overall solid case, as regards all the reasons one buys a case, on NewEgg. Whenever one of my customers does not specify certain case or system features(such as lots of drives), this is the case I use. Period.

Cons: Sure would be nice if Coolermaster came out with a version with more HDD bays in it. And no, it does not have a removable motherboard tray. That said, these things are small taters, indeed. Coolermaster definitely needs to expand on this design and look.

Overall Review: Other thoughts? Well, if you are looking for a case for your first computer build, buy this case. If you are an experienced computer builder and you want to build a good-looking but non-flashy box that's easy to work with and cools like a champ, buy this case. If you are a computer builder who has to build several computers for an office, buy this case. I have never, ever had a customer who didn't love this case immediately and I have built quite a number of systems into this case. The price-point of this case, considering the construction and features, is remarkable.

Overall Review: Well worth the $49.99 I paid in 2008. The plastic side air duct broke but I prefer an 80mm fan there anyway. I'm not sure why I'm writing a review for an over decade old case that is no longer in production.

Pros: I've now owned this case for 9 years - 2006, to 2015. When I got this case, it was the cheapest "high quality" case on the market, competing against expensive Antec, Lian Li, Thermaltake, Silverstone, and Zalman. Then all the "budget" and lower-quality brands like Xigmatek, NZKT, Raidmax,and others....and I took one look at the Centurion 5 - and fell in love with its simple design, good construction and fair price. 9 years later, it's in still in good condition one of the fans is just starting to fail (front,) but worked just fine for 9 years. The back fan is still fine, the tool-less drive locks still work after multiple rebuilds. Quality at $50, for a $150 product :D

Cons: It's a teensy bit of a heavy case, but it's very well constructed. The only real problem is the lack of cable management options. The space between the back-panel and the back of the MB tray is very narrow, so the only real space to stash cables and route them is behind the 3.5" bays; or coil cables and stuff them into the external bays. Not a problem if you have a modular PSU, but back when I built it, Modular PSUs weren't mainstream (or cheap.)

Overall Review: If I could buy it again, I would. If coolermaster wants to re-release this case with update cable management features (more space behind mb, cable routing holes with rubber/plastic grommets, etc....) that'd be awesome!!

Pros: Didn't run into any sharp edges, sleek looking design, tool less drive bays. Using it for a simple budget gaming setup. Ample room for the 4850.

Cons: HDD and Power LED are BRIGHT. But I just leave them unhooked. Tool less design for the expansion slots didn't really workout for me. Perhaps others have had more success, the cheap plastic bit broke on me. Not much cable management, but for 50 bucks you couldn't really ask for more. Besides, who doesn't own a dremel?

Overall Review: Coolermaster has a winner with this budget case, awesome looking design, with some nice features. 5/5
