ED242QR Widescreen LCD Monitor 1 x Displayport Cable Adapter Power Cord
Pros: Good price
Good colors (once corrected)
VA panel for only $230
Curved
DP cable included
Cons: Requires color correction in order to get balanced whites
Overall Review: This monitor is NOT vesa mountable regardless of what the description says. This is an error on newegg's part and should be corrected whenever they notice. The screen doesn't seem wobbly to me even though other reviews say it is.
tl;dr: solid choice but no vesa mounting.
ONE MONTH UPDATE:
Monitor still going strong, no issues.
Pros: -The curve and viewing angles look great
-Colors are really nice, and the blue light options are nice too
-144hz was a huge upgrade for me, looks amazing
-Stand was not wobbly or noisey
Cons: -Unfortunately, the first one I received had some minor cracks, but Newegg got me a replacement super fast, and the replacement was perfect.
-No VESA mounting which isn't a concern for me, but it is for some
Overall Review: -I got this monitor $60 off, and it was a STEAL. Very glad I went with this display!
Excellent for the price, couple quibbles5/29/2019 9:15:20 AM
Pros: It's a nice monitor, bright during the day, good from all angles, freesync has actually improved my gaming performance in fps-es measurably.
Cons: It doesn't have speakers, but my computer thinks it does?
Doesn't have a 'power' button to put it to sleep easily, and if I'm watching videos at night in full-screen, it often won't go to screensaver mode, so I wake up with Ron Swanson's face staring at me, which is both fine and completely unacceptable. I admit that most of the particulars about this con are things I could fix in my own life.
Overall Review: If budget matters, and in this economy who are we kidding, this is a really good option.

Great Monitor for the Price2/15/2019 5:54:56 AM
Pros: •24in
•144hz
•Supports G-sync (Due to driver update)
•Great colour contrast
•Doesn't Flicker when paired with a Nvidia GPU
•Good build quality
Cons: •Low pixel density (Really hard to notice, but if you look hard enough you can see it)
•Whites need calibrated and adjusted
•Not officially G-Sync verified (You can't use advanced settings, only just the basic g-sync function)
•Provided cable is low quality
•Stand for monitor is not height adjustable
•Not mountable
Overall Review: Monitor comes with Displayport Cable and a Powerbrick
The stand configuration is strange and the monitor can only tilt for adjustment
I recommend anyone that buys this monitor to also buy a separate high quality DisplayPort cable
Bought this monitor for 199.99, and 2 hours later it is on sale.. pretty unfortunate

Not as bad as people make it to be2/24/2019 3:51:03 PM
Pros: -curved (duhh)
-acceptably thin bezels
-freesync/g-sync compatible
-menu is user friendly (personally like the joystick feel)
Cons: •bad out-of-box picture calibration
Overall Review: In the menu set Black Boost to 3 or 4 and Gamma to 1.8, Super Sharpness: off, and Overdrive[gaming]: off. I got it on sale for $149 which is a steal. 10/10 would recommend :)
Pros: - 144hz (Must need for those who play a lot of FPS games who want to increase their K/D and/or W/L)
- FreeSync is great since it reduce screen tear. My old monitor have too much screen tear until I upgrade to this.
- Curved (It is great cheapest 144hz curved monitor to buy. Not too curve and not too flat)
- Come with displayport cable
- Can be Tilt
Cons: - Gaming mode comes with "Aim Point" But it isn't that great. Too big on the screen for most games. (See OTHERS)
Overall Review: - The "Aim Point" in this monitor isn't that great for those who want to use it. Not much option to choose and the games I use it on isn't that great for it. I try it out on games like Arma 3 and it is too big for it since most enemies are too small and the aim pointer is too big. Games like Overwatch is perfect for it since everyone isn't tiny or have to use it on far away enemy. There is no quick option to turn it on or off since you have to manual go to that option, turn it on when you want to use it, or turn it off when you don't want to use it.
- Seeing people having problem with this monitor but so far, I don't have any. I don't have any ghosting or other things wrong with it. It working great for me and feel bad for those who are having problem with it.
- The manual isn't that great. I guess they want people to push random option in the menu to see what does what on it which I hate to do. Some of the option on the menu doesn't tell me much and what benefit I would have if I change it or what has change when I change the setting in it.
- This monitor is respond time is 4ms. For those who are many different side saying "you must get 1ms" or those who say "It doesn't matter". For me, I say it doesn't matter as long it isn't over 5ms. 4ms isn't that bad and it is only 3ms different from 1ms monitor. My main source of heavy fast moving FPS paces game is Rainbow Six Siege and so far, I don't see any difference from it.
Pros: Good price Good colors (once corrected) VA panel for only $230 Curved DP cable included
Cons: Requires color correction in order to get balanced whites
