Pretty darn good 9/14/2020 6:58:36 PM

Pros: -great movement, tilt, rotation
-Great colors
-So much lovely screen space

Cons: -This is not really a true *con* since its totally expected considering the type of screen it is but its a little heavy, you can't use a cheapo monitor stand for this one! Gonna have to go midrange!

Overall Review: I highly doubt this review will ever be effective in selling this product considering I bought it very close to the end of its....uh shelf life? That is to say I doubt it will ever be restocked. However! Its a very lovely monitor that meets or exceeds all my expectations. I use it for video and picture editing, and for watching movies.
It is a fine extra monitor, I have it placed right beside a more "Gamer" oriented one, and its one heck of a one, two, punch!

As you can tell from the specs, this thing was not meant for gaming, so don't buy it based on that expectation! This is an entry level productivity machine!

A Professional Grade Monitor at Consumer-level Pricing 7/21/2020 10:44:53 AM

Pros: Great color matching and accurate calibration
Reasonable cost for so many features
Plenty of options for inputs
Easy to set up
Looks nice on the desk

Cons: None

Overall Review: I love this monitor, which is actually my second of this model (dual monitor setup). Sharp, but not artificially so, no lag, great color rendition and the two match each other perfectly. Nice ergonomics and it's great to have so many input options. I use the full-size DisplayPort inputs, and have tried the HDMI; both work very well. The physical quality is excellent and they have very little glare. I have not used the USB 3 hub that's built-in, but I appreciate the option.

I use my two PD2500Q monitors for professional 3D animation and video editing and I could not be happier with their performance. Note: For absolute best performance and color accuracy I recommend getting something like one of the Datacolor calibration devices.

Great monitor 7/16/2020 9:27:22 AM

Pros: Loved my first so much I bought another. The KVM, the puck, and the touch light interface are amazingly useful. More than I imagined. Picture is perfect.

Cons: The extra side/back USB ports could be a little further behind the monitor so the cords wouldn’t show, but then they would be harder to access so unless there’s not enough on the back then your good.

Overall Review: See pros and cons

Excellent value mid range monitor 7/11/2020 12:06:23 PM

Pros: Good image quality, versatile inputs, presence sensor

Cons: No DP or HDMI cables included, presence sensor a bit finicky

Overall Review: I use this monitor for personal use (with an Intel compute stick) and business use (surface pro 6). The high resolution is great and is just the right pixel density for a 24" to use without scaling. Viewing angles are excellent as expected for IPS. Colours appear to be good but I'm not extremely picky. It's neither washed out like many mediocre laptop displays nor overly saturated. The blacks are clearly not black in a dark room but under normal lighting this is not an issue and it's an IPS limitation. I am very pleased with its performance against my other visual benchmarks: a Sony A1E oled tv and a Dell U2718Q.

It also has a reduced blue light output mode which I use and is similar to Dell comfort view.

The build quality is not quite at the level of the Dell but it's perfectly decent. The screen is recessed within the bezel rather than being flush and the bezel is thicker than on the Dell. It also came with no DP or HDMI cables. Not a problem for my use cases and good for the environment but plan ahead accordingly.

The USB hub is useful but it is only USB 2.0 and has two ports on the back next to the display inputs; the Dell like other ultrasharp models has USB 3.0 and side bezel USB ports supporting charging. Additionally, the benq ports are inactive if the monitor is on standby so I cannot wake up a computer with a mouse or keyboard connected to the monitor; if I push a menu button on the monitor, it wakes up and activates the USB hub which allows me to use the keyboard or mouse to wake up the computer. Not a huge deal but odd.

One feature the benq has that the Dell doesn't is a presence sensor. It will turn off the monitor if you're not sitting in front of it. I found that it has some difficulty with my chair because it has a high back so it may think I'm still there. If I pivot my chair 90 degrees it then triggers the Eco mode. It works well enough that I keep it activated.

Overall, can't go wrong from an image quality perspective. The design and features are a bit dated but very usable and the price is very fair.

It shows a picture, But.... 2/23/2020 1:37:46 PM

Pros: It is a monitor. Don't know what it was designed for and can not see where it would be outstanding.

Cons: The picture on this thing is blurry and it is hard to get the best set-up, after which it is Blurry.
Doesn't handle two inputs well either. Other than that it is OK. All-in-all, I wouldn't buy it again.

Overall Review: It's a monitor and it shows a picture, but wouldn't buy it again.

Great but has Flickering problem 12/16/2019 3:45:45 PM

Pros: Great picture. So sharp and so clear.

Cons: It flickers every few minutes. Sometimes it's just a glitchy flicker but often it will completely black out the screen, almost like it's turning off and back on again. It's annoying.

Overall Review: Even though this screen looks great and is nice to use, the blanking out is too annoying to overlook.

Great monitor! 9/9/2019 8:53:47 AM

Pros: Large, clear, display with great color

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a large 4k display. It's obviously heavier, but my display mount for smaller monitors still worked fine. I'm not a graphic designer or anything, so I'm not looking for anything specific with colors, but everything looks great.
