Q1: Why can’t this connect to my Bose / Sonos / Sony soundbar?
A:Because most soundbars, including Bose, Sonos, and Sony TV Speakers, do NOT support receiving Bluetooth audio (A2DP Sink) from TV transmitters. Their Bluetooth is designed only for mobile-phone music playback or internal control links, not for receiving TV audio.
Q2: There is no sound when using the Optical (OPT) cable. What should I do?
A: Please go to your TV’s Audio Settings ? Digital Audio Out and set the format to PCM. Oasis Plus 2 cannot decode Dolby / DTS, and those formats will cause silence or unstable audio.
Q3: Can I use this with my hearing aids?
A: No. Hearing aids do not support standard A2DP Bluetooth audio from transmitters. This device should be used with Bluetooth headphones or earbuds only.
Q4: Can I use a wired soundbar and Bluetooth headphones at the same time?
A: Yes, using the passthrough feature. Ensure you use the same cable type for both input and output. For example, if the TV is connected to the transmitter via Optical cable, the transmitter must also connect to the soundbar via Optical cable. Mixing Optical and AUX connections for passthrough is not supported.
Q5: Can the Oasis Plus 2 be used as a Bluetooth receiver to connect headphones?
