ASUS VP249HE 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 Up to 75Hz HDMI VGA Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low Blue-Light Filter & Flicker-Free Frameless LED Backlit IPS Monitor
Pros: Installation of the base was quick and easy, provided HDMI cable is good quality. The display is very bright (can be turned down, but I prefer this.)
Many optional features I didn't care about but look interesting, such as FPS counter, built in crosshairs (would have been nice in my gaming days)
Cons: Not a lot of adjustment on the base, but it suits my needs.
The base is a bit rocky, especially when trying to press the buttons for the OSD.
Overall Review: Price was right, quality is great. I wanted two, but needed a dock. Less than a week after ordering and setting it up, I was unable to buy another because there's no stock anywhere... waiting patiently to get another one.

It's better than just ok12/22/2021 7:47:33 AM
Pros: It's light, easy to set up, and has a great picture.
Cons: Did not come with a VGA cable. Only with HDMI.
Overall Review: Overall, this is a good product for the price. I'd buy it again.
Pros: Easy on the eyes. Great color rendering. Clear, crisp for both regular work and high-resolution graphics work.
Cons: No DVI.
Overall Review: I'd been using a Samsung 24-inch 1080 monitor. I noticed that my eyes were straining when I used it for longish periods of time; also, I was recently diagnosed with the beginning stages of macullar degeneration. Studies have indicated that the blue light emissions from LCD/LED monitors may contribute to this disease.
I plugged in this monitor and noticed a substantial improvement in my eye strain, plus I'm happy with the blue light filtering feature of this monitor.
The product was easy to set up. I run Linux Mint on a 6-core AMD system - no problems.
I wholeheartedly recommend this product. As of now, I'd buy it again.

Great monitor! Speakers don't work!5/10/2022 4:08:55 PM
Pros: This is a good monitor. It's crisp, clean and it's 24", but doesn't feel excessively large.
Cons: The speakers, which is part of the reason I bought the bloody thing, don't work. It does not provide sound through HDMI according to the ASUS website, but offers no alternatives aside from the VGA port included in the monitor. I am... exceedingly disappointed and discovered this only after an hour or so of fighting to get the drivers updated and searching every article I could get my hands on.
Overall Review: It's a great monitor! But definitely have a backup plan when it comes to sound if you don't want to spend more money on speakers.
Pros: Installation of the base was quick and easy, provided HDMI cable is good quality. The display is very bright (can be turned down, but I prefer this.) Many optional features I didn't care about but look interesting, such as FPS counter, built in crosshairs (would have been nice in my gaming days)
