Pros: Cheaper than the dark hero, but has some of its most important feature sets
Passively cooled chipset
Lots of USB rear connectivity
Clean and simple UEFI
WIFI 6E support
Nice quick release tabs for ram and m.2, makes assembly and disassembly a breeze.
Cons: Only two m.2 slots, wouldnt of minded 3 and sacrificed some sata ports for it
Only two case fan connectors, which can be an inconvenience if someone doesnt have a splitter or a fan hub. There is technically three, but one is labeled as a m.2 fan header.
Overall Review: Not bad for a passively cooled ROG branded motherboard. Asus says that this motherboard only has Optimem II compared to the Dark Heros Optimem III, but I had no issues pushing my ram past the factorys XMP profile. Until the TUF II board comes out, this is one of the better cheap passively cooled motherboards that ASUS provides for x570.

ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming WIFI II AM4 Motherboard.12/30/2021 10:01:51 AM
Pros: ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming WIFI II AM4 Motherboard.
To me, a very nice motherboard, has multiple expansion slots and 2 NVMe SSD connections, everything is convenient regarding the PCIe slots and the NVMe connections. 4 DDR-4 RAM slots, 128GB with up to 5100.
This motherboard has a "BIOS Flashback" button, used to upgrade the BIOS without having a processor installed or having to have an older processor installed for upgrades . ** For use when the BIOS does not have the current or newest processor code information to be able to boot correctly.
To me, this is a nice motherboard.
One issue that I had was with the power connections. ( Not really the boards problem). There is no problem with what I call the "standard 24 pin motherboard connector" that was fine, Where it gets a little confusing is with what I call the " Auxiliary CPU Power Connections" , on this board there is an "8-pin" connection and also a "4-pin connection. From my prospective the problem is with the venders of the "Power Supplies". The modular power supply unit "PSU" I used had the cable for the "24-pin motherboard" but the for the Aux CPU power, the only cables were (2) "8-pin"(PSU end) : 4 x 4-pin"(CPU end) [ 8 (4 x 4)-pin] cables. After several chats with ASUS, Took 1 of the "8-pin: 4 x 4-pin cables and checked the voltage on the pins and correctly plugged (1) one of the "4 x 4 -pin" ends into the "8-pin" socket on the mother board, ( plugging one "4-pin end, correctly oriented into the matching pin arrangement on the "8-pin" socket on the motherboard) and then the other "4-pin" end from the same cable correctly oriented into the remaining "4-pins on the "8-pin" socket on the motherboard. Next I plugged in the 2nd "8-pin"cable labeled "PSU" into the power supply and then using only one of the (2) "4-pin" plugs, I plugged in one (1) of the (2) "4-pin" plugs into the "single" "4-pin" CPU connector (aux CPU power) .
The motherboard and system functioned fine once the proper / correct power connections were completed.
Cons: Additional information about the possible / various Auxiliary CPU power connection options and specific instructions need to be included with the motherboard relative to the different Power Supply venders.
Overall Review: I would Recommend this motherboard to a friend
Overall Review: It was easy to install and it was easy to get the operating system up and running and all the games have increased speed from 120 all the way up to over 800 from 120

A very good 570 motherboard3/20/2022 8:24:34 AM
Pros: - All the USB 3.2 gen 2 ports I will need
- Has WIFI option
- Well laid out and easy to work on/install
- Nice retaining system for M2 drives with a rotating clip instead of screws
Cons: - More RGB headers would be nice
- I wish fan headers were all near the edges of the board rather than centrally. This is an ongoing thing I have with most motherboards
- I liked the old Aura software better.
Overall Review: I have put together a lot of systems in the past 30 years. This was an easy and full-featured board to work with. Everything is well laid out, easy to get to, and most importantly worked first try. UEFI is logically laid out. System did not initially want to boot from a USB (known to be good on other computers), but I suspect that was me and not the board.
I would recommend this MB to anyone looking to build an AMD system today.
Cons: At OS install there are no working drivers, I was upgrading so I used a USB and got all the main network drivers for the MB before anything was done, as well it has been years since I have seen a CD Rom drive in a tower so the cd that comes with the board for me was useless.
Overall Review: It work well, Could be improved to ensure a seamless experience. I recommend this MB,
I went with the Ryzen 9 gen 3 5950X and it runs well.
Pros: The product itself is good but it was missing the Bluetooth connector
Overall Review: It's was pretty easy to set up
