Pros: ATI Overdrive Auto-tune was at 860 GPU clock when I stopped it. I backed it down to 825 and have been playing games for hours without a hiccup. The heat pipe cooler is not just for show. Idles at 41C and does not go over 53C playing games.

Cons: Very long card, but all the high end cards are.

Pros: GREAT performance in CrossfireX, have mine overclocked 800/1000 fan 100%, and my 1200 drowns out the noise, they idle quite low around 45-50. Both of them run just about all my games without a hitch on 1680x1050 max details, especially Crysis :)

Cons: They arent as long as they look, however theyre still a bit long, make sure you do your wiring managment before you put the(se) card(s) in. Crossfire corruption was noticable with 2 bridges attached, there is a big debate on how many crossfire bridges to use, i use 1 and it works great.

Overall Review: Be sure to have a beefy power supply to run 2, always maintain good airflow in your case.

Pros: Very stable, very good looking, and very cool. Keeps at 46° idle and hits 51° on full load. Of course I tweaked the fan rotations a lil' with the awesome prog it came with. Runs LFD, COD, CRYSIS, GTAIV, URT3, & EVE on full.

Cons: Tis a little noise maker, but I never build a machine for quiet time, I like my speakers loud. Any way fans help me sleep.

Overall Review: Would be nice if it had an automated beer dispenser;)

Pros: It just looks FAST! Installed without a hitch, popped it in, d/l'd the latest drivers and away we go. Ran the auto tune, registered 855/clock and 1005/memory o/c at 97% GPU utilization with no issues, backed it down to 825/975 at 43C for sustained reliability. Good maintenance and status program, ATI Overdrive. Intel 8400@3.6GHZ, Corsair XMS 1066 4GB, Asus P5Q Pro, Asus 4870 DK, XP Pro 32bit

Cons: none so far, don't have enough new games to take advantage of the new hardware.

Overall Review: I've been a nvidia video card user as far back as a GForce2 days. Was a lil' hesitant due to ATI driver issues all those years. Pulled the trigger on this card and so far glad I did.

Pros: 800 Stream processing units! You really can't go wrong with this card. It does what it says it'll do. By far the best card I've owned!

Cons: It's pretty big, if you don't get a full size tower, then you'll have a "fun" time hooking up the cables.

Pros: It's a 4870, you already know all the pros of this great gpu if you are looking at this. I bought this model because I wanted a better than reference cooler, and I am quite satisfied with the temps I am getting with this one. Card is working great with ati provided catalyst 8.12 drivers, including fan speed control. Default speed is quiet, 100% isn't too bad at all.

Cons: Asus software is garbage. Downloaded the asus version driver and utilities from the website and any game would crash to the desktop as soon as I tried to load. Same gaudy interface, resource hogging, and instability you get with asus mobo utilities. Alot of good hardware manufacturers need to stay out of the software business, asus included.

Overall Review: The heatsink doesn't seem to vent air out of the back of the case, but in my well ventilated stacker 810 this doesn't seem to be a problem.

Pros: People say its huge but compared to the stock plastic cooler it is actually smaller. stays very cool at 67c which is great compared to the 75c of the stock 4870 i crossfired it with!! My system- amd phenom 9950 overclocked to 3.0 ghz, 2 ati 4870s in crossfire, Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME cpu fan, 4gigs of ram on vista 32 bit. Alienware machine that i ordered basic and built up myself. i payed too much lol

Overall Review: do not use the asus drivers and if you want to replace or crossfire this card use the ati uninstall tool and then you have to go into safemode and use a driver cleaner to remove the remaining items that ati doesn't get! Then just reboot and install the new fresh drivers from ati. If not then you will have many driver failures!!!

Pros: VERY quiet, especially after having 2 3870's in Crossfire, 1680x1050 maxed out in CoD WaW

Overall Review: Highly recommend, and ditto on power supply, length, cable management, case coolness. Plan to get 2nd for Crossfire in near future.
