Pros: Great size, great GPU, ran games blazing fast. Good solid constuction...wasnt worried about this thing breaking on me. ASUS, and their wonderful included warranty that no one can match! Oh, and Newegg!!

Cons: Vent is right where my mouse hand goes, but this shouldnt be a problem for leftys. Small bit of paint came off with the stickers. Fn and Ctrl keys are swapped (Why?!?).

Overall Review: When I ordered this laptop the specs said that the laptop included bluetooth, which was important to me. When it arrived I spent lots of time trying to get the blue tooth set up. I finally broke down and called ASUS tech support only to find that this particular model has no bluetooth. Newegg was great though as they let me refund it and now my new baby (a N50) is on its way! Thanks Newegg!!

Pros: Affordable 4gb of ram Fast for what you pay, and the 9650 does great for the resolution given. Linux compatibility is ok, no issues with windows drivers

Cons: The keyboard is horrible - literally misses button presses every few seconds. Two letters in a row is almost a guaranteed miss. I'm going to RMA it and hope that things improve, but if not the system is almost useless.

Overall Review: Not bad, but be ready to deal with ASUS support as their QC seems to be a bit lacking.

Pros: +Fantastic hardware; 4GB RAM, 1GBGPU (Nvidia 9650 GT), "okay" processor. +Wifi is good. +Amazing price! (750 after rebate and email coupon, I got mine for 850 because I bought 2 year warranty). +Rarely hot. +Always quiet. +Neat ASUS hardware and software (face recognition login and fingerprint scanner is cool). +Webcam is great. +Screen is perfect for me, 14.1" widescreen (16:10). +Light. +Comes with Expressgate too. I probably won't use it that much, but it may be a useful addition. +Will play anything on at least medium settings at a good framerate.

Cons: -BLOATWARE! It's just annoying... -Has 4GB RAM, but 32bit OS. So it recognizes only 3GB RAM, but still helps performance. -I'm not partial to offset mouse pads, my enormous hand hits it when playing fps' as well as when I type, sometimes. -No bluetooth! It has the button and light, but no bluetooth. -Biggest flaw, and it's not even that much: the 2.0GHz C2D processor bottlenecks the performance of the GPU and RAM. It's not that bad though. -The function key is left of ctrl, which is a tiny bit uncomfortable for me, but I'm already used to it. -Vent port is on the right hand side, so mouse hand will get warm, probably. Mine didn't though. It would be better if they switched the vent and the DVD drive.

Overall Review: I installed Vista Extreme (I didn't make a mistake with what I just typed) but it's still a 32bit OS and I don't know if this processor is 64bit, if it is, I'll install a 64bit version. I'll be using this for school... as well as hardcore gaming as it can handle everything: CS:S (Maxed) 1280x800 - 60+ fps L4D (Nearly Maxed) 1280x800 - 40+ fps Fallout 3 (Medium/high) 1280x800 - 35+ fps Crysis (Medium) 1280x800 - 30+ fps Starcraft (Maxed) 800x600 - 30+fps (loolololol) It runs everything beautifully, smoothly, and effectively. This is a hardcore gaming laptop, 100%. This is a MUST BUY!!! **NOTE** You CAN install a bluetooth module, it just goes under the keyboard. It can run Crysis, 'nuff said, ladies and gentlemen.

Pros: Arrived within 35 hours of order. Comes with expressgate (~35 seconds to browser home page). Good software pre-installed (cd-burrning, controllable under-clocking, webcam face-detecting visual login, etc). Great Ubuntu Linux compatability. Good default partitioning, easy alternate OS install. Great screen.

Cons: fingerprint scanner...struggles. It works for my brother, but not for me. You'll want to keep the screen wiper that comes with it, but that's barely a con, as it looks really nice when clean and shiny.

Overall Review: note to ubuntu linux users: sound doesn't work out-of-the-box, but is easy to set up. graphics card has openGL support. Everything else worked immediately.

Pros: Dedicated video card for gaming. 14" screen is small enough for good portability. Not too heavy compared to some other laptops. Runs Left 4 Dead on med/high graphics with no issues (I have turned off all unnecessary programs in the startup list).

Cons: Facial recognition log-in doesnt work well in differently lighted areas. 32bit Vista only recognizes 3G of ram. Dxdiag says the other gig of ram is being used as video memory, but I have been told that is impossible. I think the keyboard does miss some of my key presses, but not enough to really bother me. When I am paying attention to it it doesnt happen. so it is probably just my keying technique. Has a hard time playing F.E.A.R. (on high graphics), I think because FEAR doesnt support a widescreen resolution. Plays newer games just fine.

Pros: Amazing PC! Runs games great - Unreal Tournament 3, ET Quake Wars. Incredibly fast for the price! Perfect size to fit on your lap.

Cons: only one, when CPU is stressed, the keyboard does miss keys. but i have only noticed this during several CPU-intense programs (not games) being used at the same time.

Overall Review: HIGHLY recommended.

Pros: Decent yet not amazing processor (you pay for what you get) but a great video card for the size of the laptop and especially the price. The display is vibrant and everything about the laptop is very stylish. 14.1" is the best for portability while still packing some power and fairly light. Great for if you want to play some games but still want the portability of a notebook and not have to deal with a 17" notebook that weighs twice as much. It also comes with a 2 year warranty included in the cost.

Cons: The touch pad keys put some resistance when you try to press them and the fingerprint reader doesn't read very well all the time. The placement of the fingerprint reader in the middle can also get annoying because it squishes the left and right keys. Also when I first logged on, there were many extra processes and software items that bloated the first time I logged on. It took at least 15 minutes from when I first pressed the power button to actually get to the desktop.

Overall Review: The wireless doesn't have an off/on switch like my old HP notebook did. Also 4GB RAM is included yet the OS is 32bit, meaning some of the memory is never even used unless you reformat and get 64bit, which I might do.

Pros: Runs games smoothly with no hitches, good display etc.

Cons: As mentioned in other reviews the keyboard can be an annoyance, however I just hooked up my usb keyboard and and have had no troubles with that since.

Overall Review: At first I would consider Windows Vista a con but after updating it and tweaking it a little it is running nicely. Overall a great gaming laptop for the price.
