Pros: 1. runs cool. 2. it's really quiet haven't heard any coil whine (though i do have old fans in pc that may be masking the sound but still super quiet). 3. can run most newer games at ultra or full graphics.
Cons: 1. expensive was way to much for my liking but i had no choice with my last gpu dying. 2. it is huge and i mean huge if you get this card make sure you have a case that can fit it. well guess not a con.
Overall Review: i would recommend this card if you like rgb as it not to bright but very colorful. though you will need a 850 watt psu. my recommendation is to go 100 to 200 watts above the recommended in case you have other components in your pc that eat power. also a gpu support bracket/ stand just in case of gpu sagging again the gpu is huge it just fits in a nzxt s340 elite case with a small radiator. a full size radiator might cause problems with clearance. also the price is really steep but compared to online scalpers of popular marketplace websites scalpers and what not it was a good deal. ill give it four eggs minus the one egg cause of price but overall really nice card.
Pros: Plays game at ultra settings at 4k DLSS GSync Smooth boost clocks No game crashes Highly optimized power delivery
Cons: The Strix cooler cannot keep it from reaching 75C and 80 at the junction. Price is absurd Disappointed with the lack of box presentation at such premium level component
Overall Review: The card is phenomenal, I can play every single game on ultra settings at 4k. The temperatures are well documented and trust me it is fine, but the card does reach 75 to 76C in any game with custom fan speeds. Ended up converting it to watercooling mainly due to existing build.
Pros: It's an Asus. It's quiet. No coil whine. Stays around 70c gaming. It's quiet. RGB looks nice, not too many options on patterns.
Cons: Availability and price. It's weight might be an issue for some. It is heavy. You should get a support bracket. I have it vertically mounted so it's not an issue for me. View 71 case.
Overall Review: I bought it to replace my 5 year old 1080ti. This ran my Oculus Rift S with ease. I picked up a Pimax 8KX recently and it needs more power than the 1080ti can give. Off to fine tune the head set. Updates will follow should anything noteworthy happen.
Pros: Runs much cooler and quieter than expected
Cons: None (price is a little crazy but oh well)
Overall Review: New PC build. Previous build was a RTX 2080. This 3080ti is a massive upgrade. Using with a 4k 120hz monitor and certified hdmi 2.1 cable. The graphics are stunning and I haven't even heard the fans ramp up on this thing yet while gaming at max settings.
Pros: Beautiful and powerful. Running all my games at 4K 60-90 FPS.
Cons: Price if anything?
Overall Review: Over all I am super happy with the product. I know it is expensive and no one should have to spend 2500 on a video card. My 1080TI lasted me nearly 6 years (and still holds up) so I consider this as an investment to my hobby :). Seller was also amazing! Thank you!
Pros: - Runs cool and quiet no matter what I'm doing - pictures don't do the card justice - it's a nice looking GPU - very well built, it has some weight to it - the rgb lighting looks good. it is not in your face and it's not super bright where it's blinding you
Cons: - price but this is the new msrp, if you have another gpu sell it and/or mine to help offset the costs
Overall Review: - if you are able to get one of these cards do so. i was fortunate to get picked in the Newegg Shuffle - check the room you have in your case. it's a big card - it's a trimmed down 3090 even though it says 3080 ti. just compare the specs to a 3090.
Pros: Coming from the 2080ti, it gives me an average of 35 more fps in all my games with everything turned up as high as possible Seems well constructed Truly a 4k gaming card. My monitor is a 38 inch, 3840x1600 165hz device. I don't run it at more than 120hz. Overclocking is decent, but unnecessary.
Cons: This card has a bug where it will bypass your motherboard bios screen on boot. It goes directly to the OS. Talked to Asus about it and the contact center had no clue on how to fix it and said they have never heard of that problem. Two different reps said that. I looked on the Asus site and there was a vbios update for the card that addressed that very problem. Asked the reps if I should upgrade vbios and they said no, upgrade the motherboard bios and remove my boot drive. I upgraded the vbios and the problem went away. The other thing is the card had a burnt smell when I opened the packaging. I have heard of some of the cards have that smell and it goes away after a while. i have been checking temps and running tests and it seems fine. The smell is starting to subside.
Overall Review: This card has take a beating by the "youtube experts" saying it was not needed and isn't a true upgrade. Actually it is an upgrade if you don't already have a 3080. If you have last gen or before, it is a major upgrade. Forget the Ray Tracing and DLSS argument, it is a beast of a card. But, the cost is crazy. I think Asus and every other manufacturer is using Covid-19 as an opportunity to maximize profits. Newegg is complicit by saying the card is constantly out of stock yet selling it in "combos" with parts no one wants. They also sell this card singularly at ridiculous prices and the card always comes from Hong Kong or China. Don't get me started on "Shuffle".
Pros: Exceptional quality built compare to the rest of the cards that are having issues with New World. One of the best 3080ti card you can get. 3 8pin power pcie Gpu temps are 34-40c idle and 50-70c gaming
Cons: Expensive Hard to get
Overall Review: Did not regret my purchase and recommend anyone that have the extra money or chance to buy this card to buy it if you are a heavy gamer
