Pros: - Great looks. - Great battery life. - Good sound. - Good keyboard. - Matte/non-glossy display (a plus in my book). - USB-C charger works with my Essential phone too (fast charging).
Cons: - Display viewing angle is fine for one person, not IPS, not good for sharing (misleading advertising). Strong color shift at an off angle. - Charging cable is directly connected to charger, one cannot plug in other cables into the charger (need usb-c to micro-usb adapter for charging older devices).
Overall Review: I really like my Asus Vivobook S laptop. This chromebook has a similar look, I expected a similar (IPS) display given the Asus advertising. "With its 180° hinge, ASUS Chromebook C423 can be laid flat to share content easily with friends and colleagues." Nah, that doesn't fly. Overall pleasant to use.
