Pros: I have tried units from various other manufacturers.... several top end models. This is the quietest of them all, even ones that were claimed as "silent". This is because the fan is not the only thing that makes noise in a PSU. There is also a certain amount of electromagnetic interference that is audible in power supplies. Do the vsync test and you will know what I mean. Turn off vsync and then run a game or benchmark that will give you a high framerate (IE: ATITOOL, or an old game). Likely, even if you spent a lot of money on your high end power supply, you will hear some very freaky noises coming from your PSU if you don't have a bunch of other fans running loudly in your case. This is from low quality components (even in high end units). The noises that you will hear when you do this test will be signifcantly lower in this PSU. Also, the fan is virtually silent, even at medium to high load as long as you don't live in a sauna. DEAD SILENT, HIGHEST QUALITY, LOOKS GREAT.
Cons: Not 100% modular, but doesn't need to be. Be creative with your wire management people..... don't fault PSU's because they have some of the cords attached. This is for efficiency. Unless you got a bad unit (IE: DOA), there are no faults to this power supply... NONE. Personally, I like a shinier look to PSU's, but this one has a good look even though it isn't shiny.
Overall Review: To save your self some time (or waste some of it depending on how you look at it), go to u-tube and type in "power supply squeal". You will see two video reviews of mine right at the top that expose the low quality components on some high end PSU's. You can't make a better decision than but to purchase this unit. You can get cheaper, but you can also get crappier.
