I've built about 10 computers with this exact power supply and never had a problem. There were no DoA ones or early failures.
The fan runs completely silent and the efficiency is noticeable by the amount of heat coming out of the vents. The voltages were pretty steady as measured from a high end motherboard too.
I've never had the cables be too short, even in medium-sized cases. The arrangement of power connectors is very useful and flexible too.
It even comes with black mounting screws! They're much better looking in a black case than metallic screws.
The major drawback of this power supply is that it isn't bronze or silver certified for 80 plus efficiency. The other annoyance that is common to a lot of power supplies is how unbelievably annoying it was to plug in the 24-pin power connector to the motherboard. The extra 4-pin connector next to the 20 does not snap into place and the plastic is very slippery.
I tried this power supply in high wattage gaming computers that draw around 250W total and didn't have any problems.
