Pros: Build quality and wiring is very professional. Pictures of the case do not do it justice. Tempered glass on both sides. Very clean business look with lights off. Looks like a UFO with the lights on. Almost everything in this build has a light on it. Upon initial setup, the exterior lights and inside light strip did not turn on. You must install the Halo software from the case manufacture, In Win, and run it. The lights then worked without issue. Light control for the motherboard requires the Aura software from Asus to be installed. All installed parts were of name brand that I can tell with exception of the power supply. I can’t find any labels or logos on the supply so I just can’t identify it. The RAM is G. Skill Ripjaw. The GPU is Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080. Of course the motherboard is an Asus x99 Deluxe II as advertised. The board also came with a Hyper m.2 mini card. Liquid cooling is an Enermax 240mm. Upon placing the order and shipping it to North Carolina from California, I received the product in 5 business days via FedEx by 10am on the delivery day. Superb service. The packaging was secure and included foam packaging inside the case to secure components. Easy to see with the glass panels but remember to remove it. Outside of initial setup for the PC, it’s ready to go out of the box. Nothing was loose from shipping.
Cons: It’s pricey but it’s a prebuilt. I encourage anyone to price the parts to build themselves and compare. However, if you compare this exact machine to competitors, I found it to be the best current deal on the market. That’s all I have for cons. It’s a solid machine all around.
Overall Review: I did not have experience with ABS previous to this and was weary of spending this much money without something to base it on. Even after exploring reviews that were very outdated on ABS, I could not get an accurate sense of customers past experience with the company. I can tell you from this experience with ABS, they have earned my future business. The machine is over my expectations. The quality of work does not appear rushed, it looks as if someone took time building the machine and took a sense of pride in it. From the time of payment to delivery, ABS and newegg was on the ball. I have recommended the ABS brand to two of my friends and after they got to see the product first hand, I believe they will follow suit in buying ABS. I have owned machines I have built myself and other premade rigs such as an Alienware Area-51 before Dell acquired them. This machine was built with the type of quality that Area -51 had and better than I could have done myself as I am not as meticulous with wiring as someone was with this PC. I am pleased I took a chance on this machine because ABS delivered a serious rig.
