Returns Policy – BIG BOX DEALS
1. Returns period:
Request to return product must be made within 7 days of delivery to customer.
It is highly recommended that you inspect the product upon delivery for visible damage. Large item shipments require that shipping damage is reported within 24 HOURS of the product’s delivery. Any damage reported more than 24 HOURS after the product delivery will not be accepted by Big Box Deals for replacement or refund.
2. Items in the following condition can be returned:
‘Defective/Damaged/Incorrect’ or ‘Unopened box’ only.
3. Restocking fees :
No restocking fee will apply for product that is unopened.
A restocking fee of 10 %may apply for product that is opened but unused.
A restocking fee of 15 % may apply for product that is opened and used.
**Restocking fees are applicable to product price before shipping & tax.
4. Shipping charges:
BIG BOX DEALS will be responsible for all shipping costs when product is defective/damaged/incorrect.
For all other cases, customer will be responsible for all shipping costs.
**e.g. if customer rejects product delivery due to changed mind, and original ship charge paid by customer was $10, then $20 will be deducted from refund to cover cost of shipping both out and back.
5. Following information must be included in ‘return request’ message to BIG BOX DEALS:
- Product SKU & description
- Number of items to be returned
- Date product was received by customer
- Condition of product
- Condition of packaging
- Reason for return
6. Following documents must be included in returned package:
- Return Authorization Number (RA) supplied by BIG BOX DEALS
- Original packaging
- Original labels/tags
- Any product accessories, Manuals/warranty cards
7. Refund process
BIG BOX DEALS will process refund within 3 days of receipt of product.
**Customer is advised to send message with return tracking number once product has been sent to us.
8. Other important information:
All transactions are final sale. No exchange or refund.
All items are sold “as-is”. Customer understands that some products purchased at Big Box Deals may exhibit some cosmetic scratches/dents.
Exchange is available ONLY if the products purchased failed to function properly with no physical and water damage within 14 days from the purchase date.
Products break down after 14 days of purchase will be covered under in-store warranty policy.
• Television and Monitor Dead Pixels:
• Televisions or Monitors with 8 dead pixels or more can be returned for a replacement within 30 days from the purchase date.
*IN STORE WARRANTY*
Big Box Deals offers no manufacturer’s warranty, but instead offers full 90 days in-store warranty on all TV’s & Major Appliances purchased from the day of sale unless specified on the invoice. All Small Electronics, Home Audio, Bluray Players, Microwaves come with 30 days in-store warranty. All cables, wall mounts have no warranty. All hood fans are new and come with manufacturer’s warranty.
In store credit will be given if the product purchased cannot be fixed and Big Box Deals is unable to provide the same model to the customer within warrantied period.
Big Box Deals is not responsible for any physical damage or water damage resulting in TV malfunctioning.
Original Receipt must be presented in order to validate any warranty.
When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your Newegg.ca account and find your order in order history.
2. Select proper return options. Depending on the seller's return policy and return setup on Newegg, different options are available:
• Click REFUND or REPLACE to submit your request directly. Or
• Click REQUEST RETURN FROM SELLER to contact seller to request refund or replacement.
3. For the option of REFUND or REPLACE. Select the item(s) you wish to return or replace. Follow the instruction to complete.
4. For the option of REQUEST RETURN FROM SELLER. On the COMPOSE MESSAGE Page:
• Choose Return/Refund/Replacement from the drop down menu.
• Verify the order number and request from the Subject.
• Specify more details, including item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail), the reason for your return, and the return for replacement or refund before click SEND MESSAGE button.
5. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
6. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
7. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
