1 out of 5 eggsPoor Product

Pros: :(

Cons: I have replaced 3 of the 4 sticks ,of this ram, I purchased. The first 2 after one year and the 3rd last week.

Other Thoughts: I would never buy another Adata product again! This was not a Newegg problem (have been most helpful.)

5 out of 5 eggsDon't believe the HYPE

Pros: This RAM works great. People leave bad reviews, but the truth is, no matter what RAM you buy, theres a good 30% chance that none or one or two or whatever sticks might not work. It happens.

Cons: None. My 4 gigs work GREAT!

Other Thoughts: I'd buy 4 more...if they were a bit cheaper. haha I bought them in a shellshocker combo.

3 out of 5 eggsbull

Pros: A week w/o bsod, they passed memtest...

Cons: they came with my mobo as combo, but arent listed in the compatible list for it (asus m4a77td)

there is probability

Other Thoughts: after builiding my computer getting all my components synced up to work smoothly together was a little more of a pain then i thought... heres what i did...

after
updating bios
rma'ing a bad hd (wd green 2tb)
updating windows
removing and reinstalling components
increasing ram voltage
running memtest (no issues)
updating drivers

i was still getting occasional bsod (every other day)

the last thing i did and since had no bsod was I downloaded and installed the latest AMD/ATI display driver

i'm still crossing my fingers but all is well right now

good luck if u buy

5 out of 5 eggsOne year and still fine.

Pros: They've been working for about a year now with no issues. I didn't know at the time of the purchase that CL8 is better than the standard CL9 RAM so I guess that's worth a mention.

Cons: I bought them when they were $100.
I also had to change the voltage and timings in the BIOS, which was a pain but necessary.

Other Thoughts: The product page is incorrect. It says the voltage is 1.55 to 1.75 but if you look on the sticks of RAM they say 1.65 to 1.75. Set the voltage to 1.65 and set the timings to 8 and you should have no problems. I think this may be the root cause of so many negative reviews.

Very few people seem to know that Windows 7 comes with a memtest program. So if you have Win 7, after you set the voltage and timings go into the start menu, type in "memtest", and run the program.

1 out of 5 eggsthe worst purchase from Newegg

Pros: None

Cons: I bought this ddr3 memory together with the asus m4a77td mother board to build my computer. It failed. I kept getting freeze and the blue screen from Windows 7 during the first 10 minutes after I boot my system. Changed the frequency from 1333 to 1066, same problem. Change to my friend's memory, now, no issue!!

Other Thoughts: Hope I did not make the decision to buy this memory!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, cheap gaming RAM

Pros: I got these as part of a combo shell shocker deal.. one set for me and one for my wife's new budget gaming system I was building. Due to the shell shocker I got this extremely cheap. It is excellent RAM and is running very nice. Nothing to complain about.. ddr3..

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Budget gaming setup I made for wife that includes this;

*RAIDMAX Tornado ATX-238WU Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

*ASUS M4A77TD AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

*HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit

*Sunbeam Hush PSU-HUSH580-US 580W ATX12V Power Supply

*AMD Athlon II X4 645 Propus 3.1GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor (oc to 4.0 stable)

*A-DATA Gaming Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333G (PC3 10666)

*Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

*ASUS Black 24X DVD+R

*Hanns·G HW-191APB Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1 Built-in Speakers

Runs surprisingly well and looks amazing. 107 FPS in WoW, 7.4 WEI (aside from hdd)

5 out of 5 eggsGood ram- know your BIOS!

Pros: Good fast RAM. Received it with a combo deal Asus mobo M4A77D. Coming from DDR2 previous build this impressed the heck out of me.

Cons: Not realy a con or worth knocking an egg off for- my mobo picked this up but defaulted low voltage- had to adjust and adj freq to 1333 for now. Stable and looks great. Much improvement on my games. ordering 4 more gig.

Other Thoughts: I am a G Skill fan but figured since it was a combo and I was saving some money i figured what the heck. in my opinion I didnt go wrong- good product.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute garbage

Pros: I bought this set over a year ago for my HTPC and that set has been rock solid.

Cons: I decided to add another set to bring the rig up to 8GB and I got constant blue screens once the new set was added to the mix. I ended up having to up the voltage, loosen the timings and drop the speed down to 1066 just to get into Windows 7, only for it to cause an endless stream of problems. I pulled the new set, set the BIOS back to auto (where it was in the first place) and now my system is fine.

Other Thoughts: I'm an IT Pro and have been for quite some time. Adding RAM to a box is usually a five minute ordeal, not some four hour long frustration fest. It's too bad the packaging ended up in the dumpster before/while I was installing this. I'd like my money back - no, actually I'd like a set of the same A-DATA RAM I bought in December of 09 that has been flawless. The link in my account history for that set took me here, but the heat spreader and voltage specs on the DIMMs is not the same. This set is junk, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money on it like I did. The 8-8-8-24 timings would bluescreen on boot at advertised speeds, and having to lower the speed and timings while upping the voltage is an absolute joke. Plus, it still wouldn't even work after that. Not happy about having to swallow the cost of this at all. Not newegg's fault though.
