5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: This is a great card. Runs Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and Alien vs. Predator 2010 on maxed out settings at 1680X1050. I haven't tried AA or AF on Crysis yet, though. Runs relatively cool (36-40 C idle, 60 C max) especially if you know how to use EVGA Precision. Most certainly runs cooler than my old 8800GTS 512, which used to idle at 56 C and would go to over 70 when stressed.

It can run UT3 at full settings, 16x AF 16x AA on 1920X1080 and get 60FPS. It can also run Crysis and Crysis Warhead on High/Gamer settings at 1920X1080 and get respectable (around 30 to 40 FPS).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's a big card, but you should know that when you buy it. EVGA/Nvidia really need to drop the price on this card. You can buy a GTX 460 for the same price.

4 out of 5 eggs260 gtx SC works great

Pros: Very solid performance from this card for a very attractive price. 2-way SLI performance scales very well and is still within the affordable range.

Cons: Tri-SLI performance scaling leaves a bit to be desired considering the cost of 3 cards.

Other Thoughts: These cards suck up 36 amps off of your 12-volt rail so be sure to keep that in mind when deciding on a power supply. As with most graphics cards these days, these are large cards and you will want to check your case size twice before you purchase and build your pc.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Fast, SLI is nice.

Cons: Card is about 14", had to make a case modification to get them to fit. First card was DOA, but newegg fixed that fast. Occasionally overheat when gaming for extended hours.

Other Thoughts: Love the cards, just need more airflow to keep them cooler.

2 out of 5 eggsgood card till it breaks

Pros: Good customer support from EVGA

Cons: Card comes with too harsh of a stock clock OOB, I had to underclock the card to avoid constant crashing in crysis and bioshock 2. (this was in windows XP)

The nvidia drivers suck. The drivers crash in Win7-x64 constantly

Other Thoughts: EVGA had excellent customer support. They've pretty much bent over backwards to make me happy.

With that said, I have been through 3 of these cards so far. The RMA cards that EVGA sends back are of course refurbished, however they all have some minor defect that is blatantly obvious.

My first card overheated, the 2nd card they sent me artifacted when it went into 3D clocks, and now the card I have currently has some slight yellow and blue jagged lines across the screen when I am in high resolutions.

I will continue to buy from EVGA due to their customer support alone...however I am never buying an nvidia card again, let alone a factory overclocked card.

1 out of 5 eggswrong shipping

Pros: Zero

Cons: Ordered an evga co-op gtx 275/250 combo card and was sent an evga 260 instead. Hghly dis-appointed and returned item rma.

Other Thoughts: Very poor communication here, I made no typo's and fully expected the co-op card but was highly disapointed with Newegg about this.
I even had difficulty with returns in understanding it was not an error on my part but with the shipping department.
I hope this never happens again because it ahs put me on the fence.

5 out of 5 eggsYou don't need a Fermi

Pros: You might think because this card is almost two years old it can't handle the game from these days. As my experienced, put it in a decent system, you can run all the games out there at MAX if not extreme. Only the games that designed for DX11 card (i.e. Metro 2033 and Stalker CoP) will give it some problems. But who can blame it, it's half the price of any Fermi card

Cons: HEAT! HEAT! HEAT!
When the fan is in auto setting, in ANY stress test I can hit 80c in a minute and go all the way to more than 90c. If I manually crank the fan to max, it'll still hit 80c but no more hotter than that.

My case is a HAF 932 full tower with 7 fans blowing so I do have good ventilation

Other Thoughts: Despite the heat issue I still give it 5 eggs because it just does everything it designed to do beautifully and smoothly and it only cost 180 bucks. If I spend twice the money to buy a 470 which is alot hotter and need alot more power, the only benefit I got probably is just couple thousand more points in my 3dmark Vantage. It just not worth it

5 out of 5 eggsWorking Great

Pros: This card has ran very smooth ever since day one for me. I've played World of Warcraft, Aion and Fallout 3 with the max video settings on all three games without the first problem in any of them. I have been very pleased with my purchase and will buy another of this same card to SLI them when/if I decide it's time for another video upgrade.

I would recomend this card for use. The price has even dropped a little from what I bought it which makes it a better deal on top of it's high performance.

Cons: As stated in previous reviews, the card is very large. I had to adjust my cords around a little to have it fit. In all reality, the size is not an issue unless you have a small case which.

Other Thoughts: In previous reviews, people stated that the card runs hot. I didn't want to take a chance on it over heating so I downloaded a tool from Nvidia to manually increase the fan speed. I turned it up to 70% and haven't had any issues with it over-heating. Of course, I also have a case that has very good air-flow as well and I'm sure that helps.

Other reviews have said that when you manually turn the fan speed up, it makes alot of noise and is very irritating. I don't disagree with that. I cranked the fan up to 100% and the noise was a bit much. Thankfully, as I stated above, I run it at 70%. At 70%, the noise level is pretty much unnoticable. When you've got your game/music/movies rolling, you can't notice the fan noise.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA does it again

Pros: Have had this card for over a year now and it runs everything smoothly. I run everything I use and play at max resolution. I play games like Crysis, WoW(doesnt need much to run this game) CoDMW2, Battlefield2(old school) city of heroes, Doom 3, FF11, Dead space. I have 0 complaints about how well this video card runs. It stays cool with Thermaltake Armor+MX VH8000BWS Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case. In my year of owning this card I have never had an isue of it getting to hot.

Cons: 1 con= HDMI adapter, not much of a con because it runs well but I wish the hdmi port was built in. Other than that I have no cons.
