5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Card

Pros: i got this card on 2010 and i was able to play BF3..... this is a real performance card, 448bit, 896 (more OC), Core Clock 655 (GTX480 core clock is 700).... Nvidia should keep makin card like this....i think series 600 are peace of c... 660 with 192bit, 670 with 256...new technology and runs better ? so? makes them with more CoreClock and more Bits and less heat.

Cons: n/a

5 out of 5 eggs3 years of heavy use, and still going strong

Pros: Maybe I'm just not the gamer that my friends are, but I have yet to see any reason to replace this card. It worked the first time, and every time since. This card is a tank. It's another part of my system that I don't have to think about because it just works and performs, all the time.

Cons: This card is so big and heavy, that it sags under it's own weight inside my tower. I decided to re-route the card's power cables so they'd come over the top of the motherboard, thereby not only providing power, but also providing the card with physical support. It works fine. I'd imagine more than half the weight of the card is the heatsink/heatpipe system.

Other Thoughts: Built to last on a proven design. I'll be sad when I have to upgrade, but at least I can use it for home defense, as a bludgeon.

1 out of 5 eggsCrashing and Failing

Pros: Was a good card...while it lasted

Cons: Crashes and freezes up my system randomly. Emitting annoying buzzing sounds whenever under the slightest stress.

Other Thoughts: I've had it for just over a year. Been failing for a few months now. Started right after warranty expired. Pretty upset and awed. You buy a junky HP computer and it lasts you for 5 years. A high-end MSI card...a year, if even, I don't get it. I don't stress it either.
Be careful when picking up this card...

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: This Card has def got its fair share of stuff I through at it over the years. From playing games and modeling and animating them. I would have to say for 2 years I have enjoyed having this card. To me it was solid I would play any game on max setting for 2 years. It was well worth the money and I was very satisfied.

Cons: Just recently I have been getting issues like the screen would go black, but rarely. I am assuming because the card is finally giving out after having it for so long. Honestly the only disappoint of have had with it is that it doesn't support DirectX 11 and PhysX as good as I would like.

Other Thoughts: Was a solid card and can still hold it self to a lot of today's games still.

1 out of 5 eggsComplete garbage!!!!!

Pros: NONE!!!!!! This card runs very poorly compared to other cards in this price range!

Cons: Had problems with it right out of the box, and have dealt with it for almost two years. I know it seems long, but I only use it for about half hour a week to play FSX, and anything else I have tried to play has been shutting off the monitor. Thought it was just a driver issue but today it died out of the blue!

Other Thoughts: Stay away from MSI! They use garbage to put together their products!

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for just over a year

Pros: Card was able to run any game I threw at it with max graphics settings (WoW and SC2 in particular). Ran cool and quiet.

Cons: Started having intermittent problems with it a few months ago. Recently having out of memory graphic card errors and causing games and movies to crash.

Other Thoughts: Really disappointed that I'm having issues with this card right outside of the 1 year mark, however it worked great for the first year.

1 out of 5 eggsExcellent, when the card works

Pros: Runs cool... (55-60C)

Cons: Started using the card about eight months ago. Worked beautifully until about three months in. Since then, the card has started crashing more and more often. Now it crashes after couple minutes if it does anything heavy-duty. Be careful when buying....

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card (change fan speed)

Pros: I have and love this card.

Cons: The factory settings on the fan speed are poor and even running the card as is from MSI it runs a little hot in my opinion. Very easy to fix also and MSI provides the tool needed. Still a great card and not a big deal please read on.

Other Thoughts: Download Afterburner software from the MSI website. It is great software for overclocking. You should get this software even if you do not overclock. Use this to control the fan speed. You will not notice it running louder unless you turn it very high. Even a small adjustment to the speed will do lots for the card and keeping it cool.
