2 out of 5 eggsworked for a while

Pros: was good at heating a small area so if you faced it towards you it did a good job.

Cons: Don't buy not a good unit spend more money and get a good heater that will last more than three months. It was not able to heat our living room that is only about 114 square feet which was disappointing. It worked great as a one person space heater but it could not be shared because the heat only radiated in one direction. Also the cord become very hot on high settings almost enough to burn you, which was disturbing and it was very hot at the plug and after long uses you had to pull it out because the plug started to melt. We used it anyway until it just stopped, no lights on unit will turn on at all and it just died after normal use for about 3 months.

2 out of 5 eggsLasted 2 years

Pros: Put out great heat when it worked. Able to mount on wall.

Cons: When it died, I heard a sizzle coming from the knob/switch area as I turned it on. No heat. I took it apart and smelled the odor of burnt circuitry.

Other Thoughts: From other reviews, it seems like it lasted about as long as can be expected. Also as others have noted, the plug does get hot at the wall socket.

5 out of 5 eggsSoleus, better than ohters...so far

Pros: Buying these for Rental properties, 3 in the last couple months.
Better than the DeLonghi by far...
Tenants very happy and power bill remains within 30 bucks a month...not bad for electric.

Cons: not bad at $58, but better @ $44.00, newegg :)
look for the KU-puns...

Other Thoughts: Thermal panels are only good for up to an average of 3 years.
Poor design or manufacture...should be twice the life.

5 out of 5 eggsnice, except clicking noise

Pros: Heats evenly, nice , except (see cons)

Cons: Keeps making an expansion 'clunk" sound when it cycles on. Not too loud or annoying. After about a day, you get used to it.
