Rosewill R-WS-001 Wine Opening Set

Pros: Very little justification for any "Pros." I guess the cork puller does work...

Cons: Bottle corker welding is crud! It cannot be used (which if most of the reason I purchased item!). The container could NEVER be used as a gift box.

Other Thoughts: One would think that something which costs so little to make (sweatshop) where the ONLY item welded (metal/rubber corker) would work.

Pros: Picked this up for $4.99 w/ free shipping. Corkscrew works great, and so does the label cutters. Great buy.

Cons: none

Pros: Was able to open wine bottles.

Cons: Corkscrew handle is thin metal, not at all ergonomically correct and painful to use. Stopper came apart the first time I attempted to remove it from wine bottle. Was barely able to remove it. This set will do in a pinch but you get what you pay for...

Pros: cheap price (not really that cheap base on their quality)

Cons: made with very cheap metal. one of the wine openers was bent right out of he box.

Pros: it's ok for a couple of dollars. The drip ring, foil cutter, stopper, opener, and thermometer are all functional.

Cons: The thermometer reads in Celcius only, the chrome stopper has small pits sporadically placed. The buckle for the opener looks like it was smashed with a hammer or something, it is bowed pretty bad but still functional.

Other Thoughts: I am tempted to hammer the buckle back in place.

Pros: several items

Cons: not well made

Pros: Has stuff I didn't even know I needed, and the few things I did.

Cons: not gold plated?

Other Thoughts: Was cheaper than buying an individual corkscrew & stopper...

Pros: It came fast... the drip ring is handy and same with the foil cutter.

Cons: Even though everything else works just fine the corkscrew was dead after the third bottle of wine it opened (No not it in the same night) In my mind that could account for 4 eggs but I am in a good mood.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and don't fall for the low price. Remember you get what you paid for. I have seen Rosewill comment on other item reviews apologizing for their product and telling people to contact customer service; don't bother with me on this product I will just count it as a loss and move on (I still like you as budget company), I don't want a replacement. If you want to send me a 5 dollar check, well okay, but I already threw the product away (The corkscrew).

Pros: Small cost

Cons: All parts of this cork screw kit are pretty cheaply made. No quality but it cost $5.00 so it is what I guess one pays for. Still most other products i get from new egg are far better.
The cork screw works but the parts fit are very stiff and hard to open and adjust
he foil cutter works well but it is not well made and I expect it to fail soon.
the drip ring for the bottle is okay but also very cheap in construction
the thermometer is in Celsius not Fahrenheit which is really great if you live somewhere other than the USA

Other Thoughts: Not a lot of money not very good. I would pass if I could do it again.

Pros: Good price for some basic equipment.

Cons: Cheaply made in China, but you do get several pieces of functional equipment for a low price.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for.
