Dirt Devil PD20000 Easy Steam Red

Cons: I just got this yesterday, and it was shipped to me in it's manufactures box, but it had not been taped up, so by the time I got it, it looked like it had been opened and resold! upon inspection of the device, not only was it dirty, but it had water stains on it... this has got to be the WORST experience ever with NEWEGG!

Other Thoughts: Now the worst part about all this, is I'm going to have to pay for shipping back and request a refund?

Pros: None - would have been price. (20)

Cons: Was broken when arrived. Doesn't do ANYTHING. A screw was even out. Wouldn't think Newegg would allow this as I have bought tons from them worth thousands and have never had a problem.

Other Thoughts: Now I'm not sure how to return, but I imagine it's a headache. Very disappointed.

Pros: Absolutely none.

Cons: It showed up in a box that looked like it went through a war. The steam pad was dirty and was probably used before. There were scratches all over the front of the mop and the pivot joint by the base had a bunch of soap residue on it.

Other Thoughts: VERY DISAPPOINTED! Obviously this was already returned at least once. You would think that someone would inspect the product before they ship the item. I have never had a bad experience with newegg and I have bought A LOT of things from them. Returned.

Pros: I bought this steam mop for my wife after her using my moms shark steam mop. It performance just as good if not better than the shark brand one and cost extremely lower because of the shell shocker deal i got. The product was half the price on New Egg than any other website.

Cons: Top cord storage loop is very cheap and brittle plastic. I expect to be the first thing that breaks. Not a dealbreaker, though.

Other Thoughts: Could not imaging anyone in their right mind paying the "suggested retail price" for this item. Set a price alert for $24.99 and wait. It's a basic steam mop. You get 2 cleaning pads, so you can always have one on the unit. You aren't supposed to tumble dry the pads, Dirt Devil recommends air drying only for at least 24 hours. When I turned on my unit for the first time, it made a "mini jackhammer" sound. According to the manual it should have started producing steam after 30 seconds. After 2 minutes with no steam I shut it off and called the toll free support number. Of course, I waited for about 5 minutes, then chose the call-back option. I gave them 2 hours, then tried the mop again. This time I waited over 4 minutes, but then it started hissing and producing steam. Tried it out and found it cleaned OK. I finally got a call-back about 5 hours after I called the support line, and I informed the nice lady that I no longer had a question.

Pros: 30 seconds ready. exactly as advertised.

Pros: Was REALLY cheap when on sale.

Cons: Broke after it was too late to return. Doesn't steam anymore, called customer service and they keep hanging up on me. Product taking up space in house....trashed.

Other Thoughts: Customer service would have been nice.

Pros: Small. Looks like it would be perfect for the purpose we got it for.

Cons: DoA. Makes pumping noise but no steam.

Other Thoughts: dont know if i got a used/broken item by accident or what. when i received it the box was a really bad mess and item itself was dirty and looked used. i plugged it in to test it and NOTHING. going back to my trusty old mop *sigh*
