5 out of 5 eggsGood espresso maker

Pros: works well. doesn't leak. makes coffee. decent price. Simple to use.

Cons: No timed function, like wake up to coffee. . . but you would probably soil yourself awake, the pump makes a bit of noise building pressure (about as loud as a regular microwave). It also doesn't clean itself and I am lazy otherwise I would use it more.

Other Thoughts: Bought one of these exact model refurb from a local store. Had it about 8 months. it works well. The milk frother does take a second to make steam (initial squirt is water but not much). Frother sometimes drips one drop when I use the coffee part. I have yet to have a problem. I just make coffee, run some water to clean it out, and wipe it down. It's easily paid for itself twice over when you consider the price of chain store coffee. I probably use this once or twice a week usually, more during exams. . . think I'll go make coffee now in fact.

2 out of 5 eggsGood machine, minus the plastic

Pros: Heavy machine. Feels like it has some awesome parts in it.

Cons: - Received this item with a broken water storage tank. There's a small piece of plastic that funnels water from the tank into the machine. This was snapped off, leaking water out of the machine all over the counter. (Not mad at the water, but the cheap plastics!)

- The company doing the refurbishes didn't even know how to properly put screws back in... 2/6 of the screws behind the water tank are in crooked, and it looks like they didn't even take the time to back them out and put them in all the way.
