1000-Watt peak power motor With a vertically projecting motor shaft, the Cuisinart FP-14DC’s powerful base will process through a variety of recipes with a 1000-watt peak power induction motor.
Three premium work bowls included The Cuisinart FP-14DC comes with three work bowls including one 14-cup large bowl, an 11-cup medium bowl, and a 4½-cup small bowl, to help you tackle any task. These nested bowls feature SealTight technology, which maximizes each bowl’s processing capacity, ensures safe handling, and keeps all the ingredients contained in the bowl you’re using. The bowls also include a locking feature to prevent them from coming out of position when pouring, and finger recesses for even more user-friendliness. The large, medium and small work bowls are all made of durable polycarbonate material with convenient measurement markings and pour spouts.
Touchpad Control Panel These easy to clean, electronically controlled buttons feature On, Off, Dough, and Pulse options for every food processing function. The contemporary, blue LED lights will indicate when the unit is powered on.
Assortment of blades and discs included The Cuisinart FP-14DC is designed for maximum versatility. It includes a small chopping/mixing blade, large chopping/mixing blade, dough blade, adjustable slicing disc, and reversible shredding disc. The chopping/mixing blade features the BladeLock System, securing it in place to prevent leaking, while providing optimal pouring. The versatile 6-in-1 slicing disc allows for thin to thick slices with 1 to 6 mm indicators. The reversible shredding disc provides the option of either fine or medium shredding for optimal results.
Retractable Cord The retractable cord system allows you to pull as much cord as needed, and then store it back in the housing when not in use. The end of the cord is wrapped with red tape to prevent over-pulling.
Accessory Storage Case This convenient storage case with safety lock holds all of the blades and discs that are included with your new food processor.

N/A 10/16/2012 1:47:24 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Great food processor Pros: This thing is amazing! we used it for thanksgiving dinner and it made short work of a lot of the effort of slicing, mixing, and chopping. It ran very smoothly then and we have used is many times since then and it has never failed us. I used it to make pumpkin puree to freeze for later and it effortlessly pureed over 40 lbs of pumpkin. It helped me undertake that momentousness task in under half a day. I am not disappointed. Cons: Sometimes some of the food particles end up in the larger containers when using the smaller ones so you end up having to clean all the bowls but its not terrible. I wish there was a way to use the smaller bowls without having to use the biggest bowl because there are times when I need a little bowl after I have used the big bowl so I need to empty the big bowl and clean it before I can use the smaller bowls. It just means proper prior planning... but sometimes that is overlooked. Other Thoughts: This was the first food processor I bought for my wife. I wanted to get a good one the first time instead of work our way up and I am not disappointed. We loved ours so much we convinced my in-laws to buy one. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. It is also built like a tank, so I hope it will last many years. Cons: The top lid can be a pain to clean sometimes, just don't let it sit dirty overnight and you'll be fine. I love the machine I never worry about not having space for whatever I choose to make. It feels very solid and has enough power to make anything from dough, to sauces, and salsa. Cons: It is pricey however with this quality I am very happy to spend it. Other Thoughts: If you need a food processor and feel you will use it a lot then buy this machine and never second guess yourself as it is a wonderful machine.
