I use the clock and auto-on feature to turn on the TV at 7:15am, on the channel I want, M-F only. Cons: usb videos are not in this TV feature set. That was a disappointment. The previous LG-TV I bought had this feature. Other Thoughts: It is hard to know before buying what you get in the firmware. I have found the info I need only in the downloaded user manual. Looks like I have bad reception or something when action is played back. Definitely not the case though, same problem with all inputs. Refresh rate is VERY bad on this thing. Perfect if you want to watch 60 minutes, really bad for football and horrible for NCIS. Would return for sure if i still could. Not worth the purchase. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful. What more could you ask for? I like this TV very much, best one I ever owned as far as picture quality and size. If it lasts as long as my Mitsubishi that I bought before my daughter was born (she's a grad school graduate), it'll be the best TV investment I ever made. I can't predict the future, but I doubt it'll last as long as that old TV, it was strictly high quality. If it does, I'll definitely be shopping for LG again (even if it doesn't I'll still be happy with this purchase). Cons: None for me, like I said, I couldn't be happier as of now. I don't use the built in speakers though, but I have listened to them a little and they're not bad at all; for TV speakers. I've only got one HDMI going into it and am using it just as a monitor. Switching and volume is handled by the receiver. Cons: Limited number of input.
