5 out of 5 eggsPleasantly Surprised

Pros: Contrary to several of the reviews posted here, I have experienced nothing but good things from this system. The price is great and has performed solidly in the limited time frame I have owned it so far. I have not seen any issues thus far. It was packaged great and was shipped amazingly fast.

I purchased the system with the bundled Asus 120hz 3D capable monitor. What a deal! The included monitor is beyond amazing and I would rate it higher than the 24" monitor that is on my iMac. Any mac user will tell you that the screens on macs are amazing and the bundled monitor quite possibly is better than those!

Cons: The bundled keyboard and mouse are frankly terrible. Obviously any serious gamer is going to have their own mouse and keyboard so this wasn't an issue for me.

I'm not terribly fond of the case color, but that is also nothing huge.

The only "issue" I've had so far was the front USB/eSata door (contained within a popout panel) doesn't open smoothly. It does open and functions just fine, just that I have to pull it open a bit to get full access. It possibly will get better with age since this is a brand new case. Hardly something that I'd consider a deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: Don't read to much into the negative reviews. Logically speaking when people are satisfied with the products, few take the time to go report back on their satisfaction. Conversely, people who have a bad experience most likely will tell everyone about it.

Seeing how there were only 2-3 negative reviews posted here I decided to give this system a shot and found it everything I wanted and more.

I wouldn't worry to much about the negative reviews since there are only 2-3 of them and newegg obviously has sold many more than that. I would recommend this system to anyone on a budget that needs a very good computer for the price.

Here is a very positive review from a very satisfied customer.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: Bought this system on 4/6/10. Came packaged great. No problem hooking it up. Has worked beautifully for me and I'm hard on it. Once in a great while it will lock up playing a game, but nothing I wouldn't expect after abusing it.

Cons: Only one small complaint here. Graphics card fan was noisy. Took it out and attempted to oil the gears and broke the fan. Called Newegg b/c their policy on returns is a bit complicated. CSR was extremely hard to understand. In the end I RMA'd it to the right folks and am waiting for a new card. So far so good.

Other Thoughts: You can't beat the price here for what you get. Could use more RAM, but we all know how to install that.

1 out of 5 eggsProblems from the start

Pros: It runs great...when it runs

Cons: This computer has given me nothing but problems from day 1. I got beep code errors on my initial start attempt. The second attempt, the computer started and it ran great for a while. After I got all of my programs installed, the computer randomly shut off. Then I got CPU temperature errors. I shut the computer off for the night and when I tried to start it in the morning, I get beep code errors again and the thing won't even start. I don't see myself buying anything from CyberPower ever again. Save your money!

Other Thoughts: If you're going to invest this much money into a computer, you would expect it to work without many problems. Avoid this computer unless you want to pay $1,000 for higher blood pressure and migraines.

4 out of 5 eggsMaybe I'm just lucky?

Pros: Before I bought this pc there is no reviews at all. And then after a day or two a first review comes out. I was a little concern about the first 3 reviews saying don't buy this and that..But I told myself "I'll just have to trust my guts on this". So I waited a week (btw the newegg estimate of delivery is 27th of May and they delivered it a day before so it was early). Receiving from delivery, opened it, read some manual (just a little, just to make sure I don't need to install or something) and when I plugged it on, its telling me to reboot and use proper booting system (something like that) so I was a little worried because maybe the first 3 reviews is true (about not working and crushing after 4 hours). Well guess what? After 5 hours looking for answer, I luckily found out that there's a kinda hidden cable (SATA cable) that is not plugged in and I was like "this might be it" (but I'm not so sure 'coz im no pro) and then I got this goose bombs..I turned it back on and then -- WALA!

Cons: My verdict? Maybe I'm just lucky. Or maybe they're just unlucky, vise versa.

My advice? Look for answer/solution first before you complain.

-1 egg for not checking it properly or handling it properly but hey, all humans make mistake (except chuck norris! LOL!).

Other Thoughts: It worked! But I'm not yet so convinced yet. So I downloaded all my programs, files and games, but still didn't even make a noise (a complaining sound - if you know what I mean) or anything that will make you worry.

And now after more than 12 hours of using it, still not crushing (its not that I'm hoping for it to crush).

I'll make a review again if ever something goes wrong but if it did not, you wont see my review again here. That's all, thank you.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy This System

Pros: Runs great when not crashing.

Cons: System either locks up or blue screens on average once for every 4 hours of usage.

Other Thoughts: Please learn from my pain and do not buy this system. I do not know what combination of hardware/software is causing these crashes but it is just not stable.

1 out of 5 eggs"Black and Yellow..Stay away fellow"

Pros: Very fast..great graphics..when it works. The only plus here is newegg..can't imagine going through all of this with another company; they are great to deal with. We had bought a cyberpower through them for our son. His computer works figure...mine did not ,and the replacement was just as bad.

Cons: It never works....I am out of the cyberpower market. Treat this cyberpower like it looks, and use an old snake addage.."Black and yellow..stay away fellow"...not funny, but dealing with newegg helped to keep the frustration down. Best crashing puter I have ever come across. It has 2 operating systems. The main being Windows 7; which apparently they were constantly at war, and crashed.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this not. It did worked for a very very short period of time..then crashed. Replacement mirrored the first. It works well with the Asus OS..called splashtop. Crashed when trying to get to the main OS..Windows 7. After initial crash you then went through the gauntlet of " try this ..and that" ready fix options. Try calling "cyberpower' for fix..could not understand them very well. I do not like spending this kind of money, then having to struggle to repair it...who does.
