2 out of 5 eggsHad high hopes

Pros: Quiet, very fast. 6 gigs of ddr3. Worked right out of the box.

Cons: Power supply failed after a month. Everything was great up to that point. Would have given 5 stars otherwise. Waiting to hear from Cyberpower on a replacement psu.

Other Thoughts: The doorway with the green light just gets in the way.

1 out of 5 eggs2 DOA

Pros: none

Cons: Received one of these form newegg, bad mother board. Sent it back got another. Would power up for 4 -5 seconds then crash. I reseated everything ( found memmory not seated right) and still would do the same. Not wortht he trouble so I am returning this piece of junk for a refund. Am looking at IBUYPOWER pc I hope I don't run into the same kind of issues.

Other Thoughts: If I had time I would build a PC, but I have no time.Stay away from this manufacturer!

5 out of 5 eggsCyberpowerPC Gamer Extreme 1006

Pros: - Excellent performance
- Next-gen processor at current gen price
- Runs quiet and very cool
- High system specs but still provides room to upgrade (empty RAM slot, second videocard) when needed
- Value for money can't be beat

Cons: - SLI bridge wasn't included as it should have been
- System restarted repeatedly when first turned on
- I could do without the green case light

Other Thoughts: After doing a bit of research and trying to decide between Core i7, Core 2 Duo, or Phenom based systems all hovering around the same price, I finally decided to put my money on the system with the best processor (IMHO) but weaker video card...and I have NOT been disappointed! This puppy runs Crysis Warhead at 2048x1152 with all settings on High without a hitch. As for the cons, the SLI bridge is (hopefully!) on its way after a 20-minute call with Cyberpower tech support. As for the system restarts, after I opened the case and ensured the RAM and cards were firmly seated, the problem was solved (knew I should've done that before I even plugged it in, as it's easy for things to come loose during shipping). The green light doesn't bother me as much as it did at first, but I can still definitely live without it! If you've got the case, buy this system - you will not be disappointed!

5 out of 5 eggsQuick and Stable...

Pros: Fast right out of the box.
Gigabyte Motherboard is an excellent choice
i7 processor
Stock components are good (I replaced some of them because I wanted to). :-)
Good case with a 800W P/S
Booted right up with absolutely no issues
Updated to Windows 7 Ultimate RC2 64 bit without a hitch

Cons: DVD±R/±RW Dual Layer Drive is IDE not SATA
Green Lights...not really just wanted to get that out there

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for my PC that got hit by lightning (had it connected to my APC UPC and the whole 9 yards but sometimes lightning goes where it wants to).

I normally build my own but I thought I would give Cyberpower a chance. They did very well.

My only "tweaks" have been:
1 - Updated to the F4 Bios release
2 - Substituted the A-Data Ram with OCZ PC12800 RAM and turned up the timings a notch (DDR 1600). That being said the A-Data Ram is excellent Ram.
3 - Took out the GTS 250 and replaced it with a XFX HD-4890 video card...again the GTS 250 is an excellent v/c but I wanted some extra oomph.
4 - Installed a Samsung DVD±R/±RW Dual Layer SATA Drive

To get the most out of this setup Windows 7 is a must...Windows 7 really utilizes the architecture. For those scared of the upgrade, especially a beta release, microsoft has actually made it painless and the upgrade is flawless. Windows 7 is a big step up in quality from Vista.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price and GREAT PC!

Pros: -I ordered this bad boy on a Friday morning; was shipped that afternoon and I received it on Tuesday afternoon. FAST SHIPPING. PACKED NICELY TOO!

-Turned on the computer and was on my way really fast! No errors nor any problems.

-Love the case, I like the interior and the wiring and insulation of the wires IS GREAT! I like how everything is packed and well circulated.

-no other programs installed except for the main ones which is a plus!

-Lots of room for upgrades! Gonna add another 2GB and another GTS 250!

-Great price!

-Ventilation is good, could be better but thats just me!

-Very Fast! i7 with 6gb ram? dang son!

Great computer!

Cons: -One major con I have to say is the UPDATING!
No hardware issues at all, just the software updates (which is a given for any new computer). Updating Vista and the drives and other stuff will take an entire afternoon! Still as said before, that's always the case when you buy a new computer.

-REMEMBER TO ALWAYS UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER and DEFRAG YOUR DRIVES! Other reviews here state that once they install a program, the computer crashes. Did you update your computer first?

--->The #1 reason why people have problems with their computers is cause they immediately install programs and games on their computer WITHOUT/BEFORE UPDATING! You have to UPDATE FIRST before doing anything so that no problems will occur!

Other Thoughts: Best computer I had so far! No other comp came close to this powerhouse! SO MUCH ROOM FOR UPGRADES!
In my opinion this a is a great computer for first time buyers lookin for great 3D and advanced entertainment usage.
-Great price and great PC. Glad I bought from NEWEGG!

5 out of 5 eggsCyberpowerPC Gamer

Pros: Ready to go right out of the box. Only have 1 game installed right now, WoW, and it runs it on Ultra settings at 60fps everywhere you go. Runs cool and quiet. Great price and looks cool. Fast shipping came 1 day early.

Cons: Not a huge vista fan but idk if i'd call that a con.

Other Thoughts: getting a 2nd graphics card would make this an awesome gaming machine, moreso than it is already.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Machine

Pros: Just received this machine in the mail. I am stationed overseas in Germany, so the first thing I did was take off the side panel to make sure nothing came loose. Nothing did, so all I had to do was put the power suppy switch in the 220v position and fire her up. Booted up into Vista setup, and went from there. This box is very well put together, excellent cable management. The only changes I plan on making to this machine is to get a better cpu/heatsink fan unit (comes with stock Intel unit), and another GTS 250 video card. On that note, I did not receive the SLI bridge with my machine either; no worries as I have another machine that came with it but not using.

Cons: None as of yet

Other Thoughts: For the price/performance, I don't think you can do any better. I'm a NVIDIA fan, but it appears they offer an ATI solution as well. Very impressed with this machine, and would have no problem recommending this pc or CyberpowerPC to family, friends or other pc enthusiasts.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: Powerful, fast, expandable computer. Great hardware, no excess software to slow down the machine. Rock solid performance after updating the OS and all drivers (including mobo).

Cons: None. (Vista will take some time to update, and update, and update itself. Be patient and wait for all the MS updates to complete, and remember to update all your drivers as well.)

Other Thoughts: This is an update to my previous review of the system. I ended up contacting CyberpowerPC customer support because I could not locate the SLI Bridge which should come with the motherboard. Maybe it was not include in the packaging, maybe I just could not find it.

Either way, CyberpowerPC's customer support was excellent. I was able to speak with a representative almost immediately, and they agreed to ship me a new SLI Bridge for free. This saves me a few dollars and the trouble of finding a compatible Bridge online.

I have been impressed with all aspects of the purchase, and would recommend a CyberpowerPC to anyone looking for a new machine.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: This PC is a very, very powerful machine for the price. Boots up right out of the box and comes with all listed extras (mouse, keyboard, extra cables, ect). Handles all the most demading games on the market without even a hickup. WoW, Crysis, and Left 4 Dead all look and run flawlessly. Vista can be a pain sometimes, but it is a good fit for this PC.

Cons: Green led lights can be hard on the eyes, but not nearly enough to call it a "con".

Other Thoughts: Would deff. advise the purchase of this PC. Great overall performace and graphics makes this one of the better PC on the market for the price range. Pair this with a 23" widescreen monitor like I did, and you won't want to leave your seat.

5 out of 5 eggsGood choice

Pros: Started right up out of the box with no problems. I really like how it isn't loaded up with useless software and trials like you would get with a store-bought PC. It's already powerful machine, especially for the price, and has room for expansion / upgrading (1 Ram slot, 3 PCI slots). I installed a wireless NIC card as well, and that was no issue. The cables are also well organized with zipties. With 4 fans, it's a lot quieter than I expected. ( I come from a laptop as well)

Cons: Nothing so far as the machine itself. The only con is having to grind through the pile of Vista updates when setting up (takes up an evening).

Other Thoughts: Excellent performance per price, no bogus programs, room for Upgrades. You really can't go wrong, and the case is appealing and nifty without being overkill.
