5 out of 5 eggsAwesome powerful Desktop

Pros: Very nice Desktop and powerful. Using already for 4 months and never had any problems. Case is not that bad, fan is pretty quiet and computer stays cold all the time. Love the Graphic Cards, Games runs smoothly on High Resolution. 8gb Ram is plenty unless you are into PHoto editing or Video.

Cons: Only 2 USB in the front. ( I wish 2 more at least). Graphic card is not made by Nvidia as advertised, but its still pretty nice card. DVD writer is kind of loud and cheap, but I don't really use it a lot. Never got any extra Hard Drive rails as advertised on picture, but after calling Ibuypower I received few extra rails in couple of days.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg is Awesome!!!

5 out of 5 eggsbeautiful

Pros: very fast start up + load times, stable, no errors as of yet
great with recent fps titles + very silent

Cons: the top of the case has vent holes so if there were to be any accidental spill... game over

Other Thoughts: well worth it if you are looking to find a quick computer for your gaming needs

5 out of 5 eggsSolid system

Pros: System runs great for my games (CoD: Black Ops, World of Warcraft), watching cable television over my Hauppauge card, streaming on, browsing the internet and anything else I throw at it. First system that I didn't build myself in about 10 years. Felt the price was reasonable.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Can't speak for the mouse or keyboard as I am not using them. Have my own personal preferences there.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works perfect. Nothing extra, perfect gaming computer.
My wife likes the power supply on the bottom since she rests her foot on the top.

Cons: Power supply on the bottom could be a problem if it was placed on thick carpet.

5 out of 5 eggsBest prefab I've ever purchased

Pros: I have so many good things to say about this computer, but the highlights are that it has a nice power profile, it's nearly silent*, it's very easy to work in the case, it's ventilated very well, and both sides open. Corei5 is a great cpu, and the 460 is excellent as well. This computer will run any game you throw at it, no need for an i7 and x80 series gpu, a cooler, less power hungry computer like this maxes things out great.

Cons: Bios error, VIA Screen says Scanning for devices No Any Device Found. Doesn't seem to effect anything, other than boot time. I've made no attempt at debugging it.

* Hard drive is LOUD and SLOW. You may want to do yourself a favor, and just buy a nice hard drive to swap in. They could have made this computer amazing if they used a smaller better performing drive.

Other Thoughts: Dual boot into ubuntu64 bit was tricky. Ubuntu wouldn't recognize the 460, so I had to download drivers manually via synaptic.

I've become a fan of buying warranties after having so many prefabs kill themselves (poor ventilation, cheap parts, looking at you gateway fx). I probably won't need it because this seems to be a very well put together computer.

It was almost perfect. The hard drive is a shame. After owning it a bit, I really think an SSD would make a great upgrade to an all around great configuration.

1 out of 5 eggsAfter owning it for some some

Pros: Still functions sometimes, quick to boot. Fast when its operational.

Cons: I can't run any video or play video games for more than a few mins.. the whole computer just will turn itself off.

non-functional keyboard from the manufacturer

Processor seems severely bottle-necked at times. The Windows performance thing in windows 7 gave it a sub 3.0 score.

I have this "phantom" keypress issue where the computer thinks random keys are being pressed. I know this isn't a keyboard issue because:
- I've tried three different keyboards, it happens to all of them
- I've tried swapping out mice --same thing
- It happens even there's no keyboard plugged in
- It even happens on the BIOS screen

The case is still ugly as sin.

Other Thoughts: Early reviews from myself (and others) seemed positive, however I won't ever order from iBuyPower again.. my last computer lasted me almost 4 years with some self upgrades.. this one is barely lasting me two months.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: One pro was newegg's customer support. The computer came with a faulty video card and I contacted IBP directly about what options I had. I was left feeling very frustrated. I then contacted Newegg, and they allowed me to return the machine and even paid for return shipping. Amazing service and advice from all of their employees. Most of the support agents at IBP were very friendly and helpful as well, but were unable to offer offer the support I needed to keep this computer

Cons: This machine sounded great. I read the reviews and was aware of the pro's and con's so I ordered it. When it arrived with a defective video card, IBP sent me a new one, after many "hiccups" along the way. After taking over 3 weeks for my video card to arrive, I was required to pay $30 in customs fee's, plus spend another $30 to send the defective video card back. I also had to reinstall windows after being prompted for a password that I didn't make. After IBP informed me that they would not return the computer after the 30 days and would be required to pay shipping to send the computer to them, plus pay for the labor to fix it if anything else was wrong with it, I decided to return it for a full refund.

Other Thoughts: The specs on this computer were great for the price, but if anything goes wrong with it, be prepared to dish out alot of money to fix it. Thank you Newegg for helping me.

3 out of 5 eggsFast PC but the HD was broken inside from shipping

Pros: The PC is fast!!! I'm able to play all of my Steam games with no issues or lag. The PC case is design well for air flow, no heat issues. For the price you get a nice gaming PC!!!

Cons: IBuyPower shipping boxes aren't design very well. When UPS drop off the IBuyPower box it was damage, opening the box I found the keyboard and mouse outside of the PC case box leaving the keyboard and mouse free to move around inside the main box. This could have damage the keyboard or mouse while it was shipping. The keyboard and mouse worked so no damage done. But when I open the PC case box I heard something inside the PC case moving around. I opened the PC case and the HD was lose inside. The power connector was broken. I called and they credit me for the broken HD (Purchase another HD). Once I got the new HD I re-installed Windows 7 (The PC came with a restore CD) and all is fine now.

Other Thoughts: I think IBuyPower should re-think their package design. The way they ship PC now doesn't make since and would cause more problems down the road as people purchase their products. Other then that it's a great PC for the purchase price.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't Work

Pros: The only pro I have is Newegg's customer service. All I had to do was tell the person that it wasn't working correctly and he immediately game me a return shipping label to RMA the computer. The rep was friendly and helpful. Thank you Newegg!

Cons: Anytime I tried to play a game the power supply would make a high pitched whining sound and the computer would shut itself off to prevent damage to the components. I'm assuming I was given a bad PSU, but I'm no expert. I understand mistakes happen, and it was a minor inconvenience to pack everything back up and send it back to Newegg.

What REALLY ticks me off is ibuypower's return policy!! Thank the lord for Newegg because if I would have had to send it back to ibuypower I would have freaked out hardcore. According to them, if you are sold defective equiptment, you have to pay for shipping AGAIN, and for both ways! AND if they don't "find anything wrong with it" you also have to pay for labor! Are you serious???!!! That is absolutely ridiculous and they take absolutely zero responsibility for selling defective equiptment. Shame on you ibuypower... if only I had read the return policy before I purchased the comp. Don't think it can never happen to you; be sure to read the policy.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat machine

Pros: FAST, great price, lots of ram, very quiet. Great video card. Worked right out of the box. (except for the keyboard). My kids run it hard with games all day long and it has never crashed or had any hessitation issues at all. No heat issues.
I think I got the last one, went out of stock right after I ordered it.

Cons: Keyboard has issues, several keys don't work, its not tilt adjustable. You will probably want to buy a better keyboard. Hard drive is mid pack for performance. It's quiet but slow. Give the machine a 5.9 out of 7.9 Windows performance rating. If not for the drive, the score would have been 7.5 out of 7.9
Had the SATA devices in ports 4,5,6 instead of 1,2,3. No big deal it will work fine that way.

Other Thoughts: You get more than what you pay for. The motherboard and CPU are great. The case is good, not as ugly as some say.
Keyboard, junk!
