4 out of 5 eggsGreat sound, bad feet.

Pros: These towers sound great. I was hesitant to buy anything from Klipsch because I'd heard of their poor build quality, but I I saw them for such a good deal and I just couldn't pass it up. Nice, heavy speakers, perfect height while sitting down. Clear highs and solid mid-range, they make a great addition to my 7.2 setup. The only reason I am giving them 4 eggs instead of 5 is that one of the feet on one of the towers is slightly cracked. It is still on and I hope won't break, but other buyers indicated some of theirs were broken clean off, so I guess I am lucky. I am considering getting another pair, if Newegg could guarantee that all feet would be uncracked at time of shipping.

Cons: One foot of one of the towers was cracked. Still intact and holds the weight fine, but it could easily break if moved the wrong way.

Other Thoughts: Overall, if you can get this tower on sale, you won't be disappointed. Just check the feet when you get them.

5 out of 5 eggsF-20

Pros: Very good speaker for the price. Was able to get these on sale which put these speakers at a "next to nothing" price point. At first I was skeptical that these speakers would perform well due to their low price. I was pleasantly surprised out how well they sound given their price.

At first, the horns were a little fatiguing to me, however, I moved a pair of these into my master bedroom, connected them to a Pioneer VSX-820 (80 watts/channel) and set the speaker settings to "Large" which yielded a very "full range" feel to these speakers. I was surprised out how much bass these speakers output given their small driver size. I felt like I had a subwoofer connected to my receiver.

These sound great for movies, games and music. I was impressed out their ability to reproduce some of the low frequencies that movies and video games have.

Cons: I have heard that the feet break off quite a bit. I haven't experienced this yet but have noticed how weak the plastic looks. The cheap material used to build these speakers comes with the price. So really their are no cons!

5 out of 5 eggsReally impressive, money or no.

Pros: These are pretty impressive speakers. When you listen to music with a lot of dynamics and range, it's great. At first they sounded a little harsh in the mid - treble, but now I'd call it clarity . Then I bi-amped them (cool feature if you have a and b speakers on your amp) and now they sound even more clear. I'm guessing that as we play them more the sound will soften - though it could be a feature of the tweeter, I'm not a serious audiophile, and it was an impulse buy (like at this price, with free shipping? Gimme.)

Cons: I'm using them for music, rather than car crashes, but on some passages I think they would benefit from a subwoofer, but there's some great deals on subs too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sound fantastic, amazing sound for the price (got these on sale).

Some of the best speakers I have ever owned.

Highs and mids are very crisp, and has phenomenal bass for being only 6.5" drivers.

Cons: The only gripe I have is it cannot hit the low low bass very well, which is to be expected out of 6.5s. Makes me want to add a low powered 12" sub to my system just to round out that low bass.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat speakers

Pros: Highs and Mid sound great. The horn style tweater really pumps out some sound.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a amp that is powerful enough to run the speakers or you will not get the sound quality of the speakers that you deserve.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Dynamic Sound

Pros: Cabinet size
Sound Tones
Overall Sound
Attractive

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These are very nice sounding speakers. I recommend that you listen to them Without a sub for a week so you can hear what they sound like, then if you need a sub you'll know how to adjust it. I say that because these speakers do have a great "tone" and you don't want to ruin it by "booming" them out with a sub.

These sound great at Low Volume and great at High Volume also. The sound is Rich and Dynamic. They are very well behaved and get Dynamic when the sound program calls for it. Klipsch F-20's will put the sounds of music and sound effects in your face when called on to do it. They can make sound Exciting. Many speakers can sound good but these have a little Extra Texture.

These have 2- 6&1/2 inch Bass/ Mid drivers in a big cabinet and the Aluminum Compression Driver mated to the Tractrix Horn. This combo seems to work very well--at least for me. I get very good Bass, and the drivers are small enough that this speaker produces very good mid-range. This cabinet and drivers used with the Tractrix Horn, produce a very coherent sound that is very "Balanced", All the sounds Blend together very well. The sound stage is rich and deep and Dynamic. For instance, When drums are played, it sounds great, Powerful, and the drum tones are spot on. It's that way for all sounds coming from this speaker.

The cabinets are about 15 inches deep and look good in a room. They are tall enough so that when you sit down to watch a show or listen to music the drivers are at ear level.
I drive my speakers with a Yamaha 571 and for normal listening, I have more power than I'll use in my house.

These replaced a set of Pioneer Andrew Jones Towers that I ran for a year. They were decent speakers for the money. These F-20's are in a different class. I paid about the same for these Klipsch that I paid for the Pioneers and the sound difference is really night and day.

If you want a good, Dynamic Speaker, you can't go wrong with the F-20.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW....WOW....WOWWWWW!!!!

Pros: Movie Theater sound at a cut rate price

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: All I have to say is WOW! I purchased these for $250/Pair on sale at Newegg, and I feel like I got the deal of the millenium! These speakers are AMAZING! I never knew how TINY, tinny and clunky my old surround system was until I hooked up these monstrous bad boys! Watched a movie with car chase scenes and it felt like the engines were actually revving in the living room! I had researched many different speakers before upgrading my surround sound system and the Klipsh brand was always at or near the top of the list. With all the great deals on Newegg I was able to upgrade all my speakers to the Klipsch brand (2-dual floor standing, 1 center, 2 surrounds, and subwoofer) for about $850, that's almost a 60% discount off of MSRP!! WOOHOO! If these are ever back on sale I URGE you to purchase these, as I plan to get 2 more to complete my 7.1 surround. YOU WILL NOT REGRET PURCHASING THESE SPEAKERS ONE BIT! With The new Reference series you will shell out almost $450/speaker for the same size tweeter and dual 6.5 woofers. These are a classy alternative, and at the cut rate Newegg price way more affordable.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Attractive, Stable cabinets.
Very Good Balanced Sound.
Price to Performance Ratio.

Cons: The worst thing is reading reviews about shipping on here rather than the product. My Speaker boxes were beat up but arrived in great condition. The beat up boxes were Not the Fault of NewEgg, UPS is the culprit.

Other Thoughts: These are very nice and balanced speakers.
They cover the audio spectrum very well.
Great Bass, Good Midrange, and Sparkling Highs.
They sound good with Movies, TV, and Music.
A sub woofer is not required with these speakers but if you use one, cross it over low because these Klipsch have a great sound you might not want to degrade with a sub that is overdriven and crossed too high. Your choice of AVR is important too. I have 3, I'm running mine through a Yamaha RX-V 571 because it's very versatile and sound better than my Onkyo SR 608 which sounds Bloated. So you're AVR should be "Cleaner" sounding than an Onkyo.

I'm running three F-20's across the front for a seemless sound stage. The Klipsch center has smaller drivers and the center should be a workhorse since it puts out about 50% of the sound, also a 3rd F-20 is cheaper than a center.

I would buy these speakers again with no question.
I feel they're a better bargain, than Polks and sound wise they are similar except these have horns which I like better than the tweeters in my RTI speakers. The horns in these speakers Blend very well in the overall sound making a coherent sound stage.

Don't hesitate to buy the F-20, it's a Great Price and a Sound Choice.
