4 out of 5 eggsGood for what it is

Pros: -Good sound for the money ($260/pair)
-Very easy to drive with most amplifiers, very loud.
-Great for Movies, with the exception of explosions requiring deep bass.
-Dialog pops, breaths, S, T other sibilant sounds pop

Cons: -These are "bright" harsh speakers, cymbals and higher frequencies pop
-Tiring on the ears. They are great for movies, but music will cause fatigue/pain after an hour of uninterrupted listening
-Under powered bass

Other Thoughts: -Best in a carpeted room with lots of sound absorbing furniture to soften the high frequency peaks
-Pair with a decent "warm" amplifier to get the most out of them, I eventually paired with a Yamaha RX-V675, which improved the sound (still caused ear fatigue though).
-Pair with a good used subwoofer -don't buy a cr*p sub that retails under $350, buy a good used subwoofer instead.
-Best for movies, not music

2 out of 5 eggsGreat for movies, bad for music

Pros: Looks
Size
Brilliant Highs

Cons: Mids/vocals

Other Thoughts: I really want to love these speakers, but I just can't. They look great and the highs are brilliant. Listen to a piece of glass shatter through them. Bass is even pretty good for such small woofers. Where I loose any love for them is the midranges sound muffled, distant, and often seem to resonate in the cabinet. They never bother me while watching movies where 90% of the vocals come through the center channel, or even with heavily digitized music such as house or trance, but when it comes to country, rock, or blues, I feel like I am listening from behind a wall or down a hallway. I've tried and tried to adjust with the EQ, but I think I just need a speaker that is more vocal forward such as Polk's to fit my personal tastes.

5 out of 5 eggsSounds Great and Plays Well

Pros: Very good speaker. Plays clean and sharp. The tones are bright. If you are a audiophile you will like the F-20's. I played jazz, classical, and Indie music with these speakers. You can hear the high notes and tones very easily. You won't have to crank the volume to hear your media. The F-20's work very well with minimal effort from your receiver. These Klipsch Synergy F-20 are a great buy. You won't be disappointed with the purchase.

Cons: If you like bass you will need a subwoofer with these speakers.

Other Thoughts: I would have no problems buying a 2nd set of Synergy F20's if I had the space

5 out of 5 eggsI bought these :)

Pros: - Sound fantastic in the mid to high range
-Beautiful with the front cover removed
-High quality materials

Cons: - Lows dont come through to well but it is a relatively small speaker size, probably step it up to the larger diameter speakers if your not planning on having a subwoofer
- None else really I would bu again.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat sound, bad feet.

Pros: These towers sound great. I was hesitant to buy anything from Klipsch because I'd heard of their poor build quality, but I I saw them for such a good deal and I just couldn't pass it up. Nice, heavy speakers, perfect height while sitting down. Clear highs and solid mid-range, they make a great addition to my 7.2 setup. The only reason I am giving them 4 eggs instead of 5 is that one of the feet on one of the towers is slightly cracked. It is still on and I hope won't break, but other buyers indicated some of theirs were broken clean off, so I guess I am lucky. I am considering getting another pair, if Newegg could guarantee that all feet would be uncracked at time of shipping.

Cons: One foot of one of the towers was cracked. Still intact and holds the weight fine, but it could easily break if moved the wrong way.

Other Thoughts: Overall, if you can get this tower on sale, you won't be disappointed. Just check the feet when you get them.

5 out of 5 eggsF-20

Pros: Very good speaker for the price. Was able to get these on sale which put these speakers at a "next to nothing" price point. At first I was skeptical that these speakers would perform well due to their low price. I was pleasantly surprised out how well they sound given their price.

At first, the horns were a little fatiguing to me, however, I moved a pair of these into my master bedroom, connected them to a Pioneer VSX-820 (80 watts/channel) and set the speaker settings to "Large" which yielded a very "full range" feel to these speakers. I was surprised out how much bass these speakers output given their small driver size. I felt like I had a subwoofer connected to my receiver.

These sound great for movies, games and music. I was impressed out their ability to reproduce some of the low frequencies that movies and video games have.

Cons: I have heard that the feet break off quite a bit. I haven't experienced this yet but have noticed how weak the plastic looks. The cheap material used to build these speakers comes with the price. So really their are no cons!

5 out of 5 eggsReally impressive, money or no.

Pros: These are pretty impressive speakers. When you listen to music with a lot of dynamics and range, it's great. At first they sounded a little harsh in the mid - treble, but now I'd call it clarity . Then I bi-amped them (cool feature if you have a and b speakers on your amp) and now they sound even more clear. I'm guessing that as we play them more the sound will soften - though it could be a feature of the tweeter, I'm not a serious audiophile, and it was an impulse buy (like at this price, with free shipping? Gimme.)

Cons: I'm using them for music, rather than car crashes, but on some passages I think they would benefit from a subwoofer, but there's some great deals on subs too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sound fantastic, amazing sound for the price (got these on sale).

Some of the best speakers I have ever owned.

Highs and mids are very crisp, and has phenomenal bass for being only 6.5" drivers.

Cons: The only gripe I have is it cannot hit the low low bass very well, which is to be expected out of 6.5s. Makes me want to add a low powered 12" sub to my system just to round out that low bass.
