VIZIO VSB210WS 2.1CH High Definition Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer System

Pros: the only two working speakers on my sound bar sound great.

Cons: broken parts, scratched, non working speakers.

Other Thoughts: i trusted the note saying all refurbished productecs were checked and worked. my first and last refurbished purchased and last purchase from new egg. would not recommend refurbished products since they are not checked and fixed before reselling them. aside from the fact that i got the wrong product not even the one i ordered.

Pros: Very nice construction, easy installation. Way louder and clearer than stock speakers. Looks great and is almost exactly as wide as my 42" Plasma. Incredible Lows

Cons: Volume control can zoom up quickly

Other Thoughts: Incredible Difference from my stock speakers built into my Panasonic Flat Screen

Works with Directv remote control, except it took me longer to program the Directv remote than it did to install the speaker - and that includes me removing my Panasonic Plasma from the wall and threading the wires

Pros: Has nice sound and is easy to set up.

Cons: This one only worked for about 20 min. and the cut out. It came back on after about 20 sec. for about 1 min. and then cut out again. It continued to do this until I shut it off. After reseting it (suggested by Visio support) the same cycle was repeated. If you get a good one, count yourself lucky.

Pros: - Half the cost of a new system
- Works flawlessly
- 1 yr warranty incase something does go wrong
- Awesome sound
- The wireless sub is great, I wouldn't want too just own the soundbar alone, the bass brings it to life!

Cons: - Cheap remote. I purchased a vizio universal remote separately though. Controls my vizio tv & sound system all in one, therefore no need too use the cheap remote that came with the soundbar.
- None other thus far.. will update if something goes wrong though.

Other Thoughts: You really can't beat the value of this system. It's with out a doubt the biggest bang for your buck. It's brought my new vizio 42" tv too life. Shipping is fast & it is also packaged well. I do recommend picking up a fiber optic cable for the audio hook up, that way you don't have too use the outdated rca jacks. Buy with confidence. Pros: This is the first sound system I have owned so I don't have much of a reference level, but this sound bar has great quality. It fills my entire living room and house with sound, which is emitted very clearly and has a wide range for volume. Works great considering how weak my TV speakers are. The subwoofer is great too, very powerful. Very fun to play old games with that much bass!

Cons: I have a bit of trouble with the remote control. I can't simply point it at the sound bar and expect it to work. I usually have to angle it directly in front of the sound bar, and often have to press buttons multiple times before they work. I am using the battery it came with, perhaps the battery is dying. The sound bar was still a great purchase for the quality and the price it was.

Pros: Easy instal works great haven't had any problems

Excellent Sub Bass Quality, very clear and potent
Warm sound, not analytical
Price is lower than expected for quality on this level. Forward Mids, very clear, very smooth highs, surprisingly smooth and not harsh in the slightest. Very large sound stage for a bar.

Cons: No surround sound support, its a great center image and nothing more. Optical input only good for direct connections to your cable box if it supports it, or a dvd/bluray player. This speaker is not a surround sound speaker so Optical is useless on it. Unless you have some type of receiver that can simulate surround sound, its totally useless, even then its likely not going to sound like REAL 5.1 / 4.1 ect ect

Other Thoughts: My first bar would not power on, newegg replaced it. Optical Input is great, but does not support anything over 16bit at 44,000hz, which is bad because i am an audiophile and listen at 24bit 96k .Flac files mostly. With a USB dac and RCA input, you can achieve this no problem, in this case the RCA input option is better for pc use and music files, Optical cannot support HD quality audio despite what nearly everyone says. For movies and surround sound speakers, its the only way to achieve surround sound 5.1. But for lossless music, I am afraid you are stuck with RCA...so get a great USB Dac and a good RCA cable.

got it refurbished so it was about half price of new really cannot beat the price for the sounds that come out of it. I have the wireless woofer about 10' away and it picks up without a problem. nice work
