StarTech Model THINTOSMIN6 6 feet Toslink to Mini Digital Optical SPDIF Audio Cable M-M

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: I had purchased this wire along with a pair of Astro A40s. The Astro headset came with a higher quality wire that I can positively say sounds much better than this one. The StarTech wire was meant to go to my computer while the Astro toslink went to my xbox (for length reasons).
I assumed they would be similar quality but I noticed I was missing sounds when listening to familiar songs from my PC.

Other Thoughts: If you are using a high quality set of headphones, this is not the right wire to buy. Without a doubt, I should have spent a little more.

Pros: Connected this to a 2011 Mac Mini Server and a Denon receiver. Transmits audio like it should, works great.

Cons: It doesn't make me toast in the morning.

Pros: The cable works splendidly with my 2011 macbook pro to my Turtle beach headset. Transfers the information easily with no issues.

Cons: The cable part of it seems very small, but it can hold up against a lot of strain (it seems).

Other Thoughts: Make sure your computer can handle this toslink cable.

Pros: Cheap, works.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Well, it's a cable. Woo Newegg prices.

Pros: Length, Price

Cons: Cable shielding is almost non-existant.

Other Thoughts: It could use a better cable shield, seems like its a wire looping around.. not very nice to touch or look at.

Pros: worked perfectly with Yamaha receiver connected to Jetway HTPC.

Cons: I wish it would have came with Jetway Minitop.
