Intuitive, stylish and simple to use, the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone delivers a personalized, seamless mobile experience that helps your day run smoothly—whether it's time for work, family or play.

  • newegg Share Back-to-Back If sharing is your thing, the Samsung Galaxy S III is your phone. With S Beam, you can share large HD files in seconds – just touch compatible devices back-to-back. S Beam takes full advantage of NFC (Near-Field Communication) and Wi-Fi Direct technology, making it quick and easy for you to share photos, videos, documents, calendars, contacts and more. And you don’t even need Wi-Fi or a cellular signal.
  • newegg Share Big As much as you like a crowd huddled around admiring your new phone, it won’t be necessary with AllShare Play. Because now, you can play your music, videos and slide shows on any compatible HDTV or computer for all to see. Go big.
  • newegg Share Photos Instantly Share Shot lets you share your photos with up to five friends – as you take them. What does this mean? You don’t have to remember to share later; just share on the spot and forget it. Sharing has never been so much fun, so fast or so hassle-free.
  • newegg Gesture Smarter The Galaxy S III goes beyond swiping and pinching. Special motion gestures let you do things easier and more intuitively than ever before. For example, to capture a screen shot, just swipe your hand across the screen. To get to the top of a list, just tap the top of your phone. Or if your texting someone and want to call them, just put the phone to your ear. It doesn’t get any smarter than that.
  • newegg Speak, and the Galaxy S III will Listen S Voice responds to your every voice command, acting as your on-board personal assistant to give you helpful, accurate information, dial phone numbers, send messages, open apps and more. It will follow your commands and answer your questions quickly and intelligently. You can tell your phone to wake you up, take a photo, answer a call, send a text message or play your favorite song. In fact, thanks to S Voice, you might never talk to real people again.
  • newegg Simplify any Task Samsung TecTiles is the short-hand way to operate your Galaxy S III. Just program your “tiles” to automatically handle repetitive actions, like changing settings or performing certain tasks. After that, all you’ll need is a simple tap of your phone. It can launch apps, connect you to Facebook or Twitter or share a contact with any NFC-enabled phone.

Please read the product description carefully for all unlocked cell phones.

Some unlocked cell phones sold by Newegg may have previously been locked to a specific carrier. A carrier-locked cell phone may often have carrier-specific applications and branding. Some of these applications cannot be unlocked and/or may not function with a different carrier. Also, applications requiring a data plan may result in data usage charges from the original carrier.

In addition, the cell phone box may arrive unsealed and the cell phone may appear previously handled. The unlocking procedure requires unsealing the box and manually handling the cell phone. In this case, the cell phone should not be considered "tampered with" or "defective".

5 out of 5 eggsPhon-Phon

Pros: Works great. T-mobile 4g plans are accepted but the phone can only use HSPA so you're down by only a couple of mbit less. Battery is great on normal use.

Cons: Battery capacity could have been bigger, 2100 mAh is more than enough but if you are gonna use HSPA network speeds then your in trouble because HSPA drains a lot more power than 3g or 2g. I wish there was a setting where I can choose 3g over HSPA.

Other Thoughts: I wish newegg had a case bundle for this. Not just any case but cases that covers up everything protecting the phone from almost every accident. Examples are Bodyglove ShockSuit, Griffin Survivor for S3.

5 out of 5 eggsMislabeled LTE PHONE

Pros: It's a Samsung which is one of the biggest pros. Great screen, great video, PenTile display its amazing, and it's fast.

Cons: Mislabeled as so many 4G/LTE phones are on Newegg. The same reason the display is a pro is the same reason it is a slight con. The PenTile display is amazing but in zoom mode for video, games, text, etc. Its a bit blurry and washed out. Bit bigger than needs be, SGS2 size perfect. Plastic and yet still expensive contract or not.

Other Thoughts: Like the size of my old SGS2 or actually the size of my new LG Optimus G (Nexus 4 actually) as the right size. Won't be disappointed and LTE is extremely fast on AT&T faster than Verizonin all major spots (even here in Huntsville although Verizon can hit 60MMbps as well)

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless Phone

Pros: The phone is great. Everything is as described.

I encountered a problem with the sim card. There was actually no problem with the sim card. I was just simply did not know you had to press down the sim card until you heard a clicking sound. I actually sent the item in for RMA because i did not know this. I am embarassed. Just realized my mistake through a youtube video on how to properly install sim card.

Overall great phone. I'm a very satisfied customer

Cons: None. seriously, i'm not lazy to write anything about this phone. The phone is as described. Only problem may be that it's 500 dollars but the performance is what you're paying for. Maybe the battery life may be an issue, but that is something you must consider when buying 2100 mah.

No problems with phone

5 out of 5 eggsCutting edge

Pros: They're working on an attachment, for that!! I can't think of anything it can't do!! Yes, you want to put a film screen protector on it, but then you'd be foolish not to put one on any phone. Got mine "Unlocked," from NE. Just the best phone I've ever had.

Cons: You pay for the best.....if that's a Con....so be it.

Other Thoughts: Apps, apps, and more apps. If the phone doesn't offer the ability to do something, there IS an app for it. DO GET an antivirus app....I suggest Avast.

5 out of 5 eggsPorted to carrier perfectly

Pros: Updated to JellyBean 4.1.2 no problem.
Hooked up to my Consumer Cellular no problem.
All the bells and whistles that are putting the iPhone to task.
GSM.
Phone features will last me for a couple years, say's me.

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: I greatly appreciate Neweggs patience with me and apologies for cancelling my order because I kept ordering then afterward realizing it was the wrong color, 3 times. I'm usually better than that.

3 out of 5 eggsHit by "sudden death" issue

Pros: Excellent phone until the spontaneous reboots and eventual unresponsiveness started occurring approximately 5 months after purchase in July 2012. Good voice recognition, OS was updated to (I believe) 4.1 with no issues. Review is mostly from memory because phone has been in the hands of service contract people for about 1.5 months now. Shelling that much money for an unlocked international phone, getting the extended warranty is *not* optional.

Cons: As other reviewers noted, the original revisions of this model suffer from a "sudden death" syndrome inherent in the Epoxynos (sp?) CPU they used. Not sure if an exploit triggers the behavior, but my phone would reboot spontaneously once every few days. Eventually it refused to power on or light any LEDs even when charging. Removed/replaced battery with no change. This occurred right around the 6-month ownership mark. Fortunately I had the service plan, and I had read about the (probable) issue and a software fix from Samsung that was being pushed in December 2012, so I expected a new firmware flash and a prompt return of my phone. Lifetime Service handled the repair and had to send it to the manufacturer, then last week notified me that the mainboard was no longer being produced (I assume the original revision mainboard) and they would be cutting a check for $608 this week. I loved the phone and will probably buy another if I can ensure I get an updated revision mainboard.

Other Thoughts: Get the service contract! If you do have to send the phone in for service, you kinda have to bug them periodically about your phone's status - it seems my phone's repair status never got updated til right after I called them.

1 out of 5 eggsFragile - Be Aware of warranty

Pros: Phone is great when working.

Cons: Fragile Screen. I dropped it once from 3 feet and the screen cracked. Luckily I had paid for the accidental damage warranty. It is NOT done through Newegg as I thought it would be. They issue this out to another company called Lifetime Service. It took me a WEEK just to get the RMA so I could ship out the phone. Then they said it would be at least a week just for the repair without being able to expedite at all. The service guy said they have to order parts once the phone gets in. How could they not stock a screen??? The guy there at customer service was awful. Very disappointed. You feel happy for once that paying for an extended warranty actually might pay off, only that I still have a broken screen since I had to travel and needed my phone and the repair would just take too long.

3 out of 5 eggsDon't buy No Warranty

Pros: Great phone when it works
I have had problem with phone first week I got it when earphone quit working. I took going threw CT MIAMI LLC to get repaired and that was in October. I bought in July.
Now battery will not charge due to charging circuit in phone. Extended warranty after 4 days has not contacted me. and CT MIAMI LLC has started new RMA. Samsung is a joke on the USA side as well as UK side. Contact country were you bought it.
