Features
Child of Eden, developed by Q? Entertainment Inc. under the direction of the renowned game creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, is a multi-sensory shooter sending players diving into a kaleidoscopic matrix of synchronized music and mind-blowing visuals ushering forth yet another landmark game experience. The Kinect version of the game greatly enhances the experience as players reach full immersion in the game with no physical barriers because their bodies control the environment.

Child of Eden thrusts you in the center of a battle to save Project Lumi, a mission to reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the archive of all human memories. As the project nears completion, the archive is invaded by an unknown virus. Your mission is to save Eden from the virus to restore hope and peace.

Music, visuals, action: The game is a perfect merge of music and visuals, with melodies actually created by the player as they target and destroy foes in the game.

Full-motion controller: Kinect enhances the experience as the player truly becomes part of the game, with no physical barriers because it's the player's body that controls the environment.

Across the universe: Progress through six unique universes of play, Matrix, Evolution, Beauty, Creativity, Passion, and Journey, and encounter enemies in various states of evolution.

4 out of 5 eggswyrd.

Pros: fun and beautiful. The music integrates with gameplay and often is derived from gameplay alone.

Cons: the levels get significantly harder and it is a bit short.

Other Thoughts: the interface is weird and fun. certainly takes some getting used ot.

5 out of 5 eggsA trip every gamer should take!

Pros: This game is like the arcades of the early 80's with all the high tech sound and visuals of today. This game is hard to explain, it's a shooter but so much more. The combination of sights and sounds is something everybody in the family will love and should experience. The 9.99 price tag fits perfectly.

Cons: Can be difficult to understand at first but once you do you will love it.

Other Thoughts: This game works great with the controller but would be a better gaming experience the the Kinect.

5 out of 5 eggsLots of fun

Pros: I've only played it with a Kinect, and I'd suggest you do the same. The music is great, the visuals are great, and you even get a bit of a work out from playing!

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: I really liked how fluid the kinect worked. The music was cool.

Cons: I didn't like the battle system. I thought it was kind of cheesy. Definitely worth the 15 but not $40-50.
