The Sansa® Clip Zip™ is an ideal accessory for active music listeners, incorporating an integrated clip design that securely fastens to a bag or clothing. THE PERFECT FLAC PLAYER Pros: - FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, AAC and MP3 (a couple others as well) makes it the best mobile audiophile choice for a backup or primary music player. - Light, half on oz? I hardly know I have it. - MTC and MSC support making it compatible with every operating system unless you drank the kool-aid and own a mac. I use winamp and its just as easy to fill as my good ol' sandisk 2GB from 2006. - Micro SD slot, still gets me excited I have a 32GB card + 8GB internal. - Cheap for what you get. - Fast boot time after media has been loaded. If you have problems flash the firmware. After you add music or remove the card it has to scan it so it takes a minute to check the library, a feature I appreciate. Cons: - Flimsy Plastic but its light enough that a drop won't break it, but the clip will break, I can tell. - The battery isn't replaceable as far as I can tell. But I might just buy another one for schnitzel anyway. - The Device doesn't allow the SD card and the internal storage to be combined into one volume but this provides some pluses for those who want to use the SD card separate. Other Thoughts: All in all, I value this more than I do my IPhone. If you are worried about other reviews keep in mind most of these people wouldn't know how to manually flash a torch ^^ There is quite a bit of info found on random Sandisk forums for those nubs that are having trouble. I THREW OUT THE HEAD PHONES. Didn't even try them, if there was a package that had the option to leave them out I would pick it. If you're looking for a FLAC player, get this. Easy intuitive interface. Nice little screen to see what up. Plays anything, well worth the investment, pricing is universal. The battery life is very good, not great but look at the size of it. Voice recorder work It is not a great voice recorder but it is just fine for recording yourself not the lecture. Good enough for most things. Cons: It works though Windows media player, no real software of its own,may be normal I don't know. Watching a avi file on this thing is a joke, video is just a selling feature that's a fake duplicitous selling feature. Other Thoughts: So far it works, its so tiny I am sure I will lose it in a month or so. I wish the window was a solar cell to recharge the player or just add one, it would add 25 cents to the device. Pros: Why it's sooo good: - Expandable memory(micro sd slot) I have a 32gb card and it works just fine - Value (For the money, it can't be beat) - Features - Lightweight - Small - Clip(you could even jog with it probably) - Decent battery life (around 12 hours) - Navigation/ease of use - Compatibility with various music formats - Voice recorder ! - FM radio - Stopwatch - Color screen ! - Audio quality AND equalizer ! - Rockbox compatible (open source firmware replacement) Cons: None. Other Thoughts: This is the card I am using: G.SKILL 32GB Micro SDHC Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Model FF-TSDG32GA-C10 Rockbox on this awesome little music player is amazing !
