Other Thoughts: I have bought two of these scandisk clip players and both die shortly after receiving. The first I thought was just a fluke but now after the second just died it is obviously substandard manufacturing. I personally will never waste my money on another one of these since there are a number of other mp3 players at the same price and that actually last longer than a couple of weeks. There are 315 people that rated this at 5 stars but 182 that didn’t. Is it worth the risk of spending your money and getting a piece of junk instead of something that actually works?

Pros: Awesome unit, great size. I pair it with a nice pair of Klipsch earbuds for great sound. I had the 4gb unit for 3+ years and finally upgraded to the higher capacity. It is nice to see they move the power button to the top and the volume control to the side opposite of the headphone input. Batter life is really good since it does not have a large demand display. Waited for it to go on sale and got it for 49 bucks and added an 8gb micro SD.

Cons: There are no cons with the unit, only with Newegg's new shipping 'deal' with Fedex. In a word, it blows. Before, Newegg's free shipping option was UPS ground, which would be at most a 2 to 3 day timeframe. Sometimes I would even get it next day depending on what warehouse was fulfilling the order. Now with this terrible FedEx to USPS free shipping deal, I am lucky to see the stuff in a week. We all know that there is no such thing as 'free' shipping and the the cost of it is built into the product. I will be looking for a new supplier that has quicker free shipping.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend rockbox.org as a replacement for the Sandisk operating system. I put Rockbox on as soon as I got the unit and regret not have discovering it years ago.

Pros: Simple & practical

Cons: Took more days to arrive home, than it took it to stop working. Just shut off and never turn on again

Pros: Everything as advertised, only complaints are same ones everyone will have: clip snaps off if you use it, OS freezes but can be rebooted by holding the power button.

Extremely portable and just right amount of storage. If clip wasn't so fragile this would be perfect for a workout buddy.

Excellent for the money.

Cons: Fragile Clip, somewhat unstable OS.

Pros: Is durable (relatively) is very light, easy to use and and convenient with use of short headphones as it can clip on to clothes or hair. Menu is very efficient for 1" screen though still not exactly friendly. Have had two so far and only that many due to user error.

Cons: As I said earlier the menu is not particularly easy to use as the screen is very small, making it easy to miss what one is looking for. In addition it is not water proof.

Other Thoughts: My only real problem, not actually a con with the device, is that I find the sansa clip+ is easy to forget on my shirts, so I will, rarely, forget to take it off and end up throwing it in the washer with all my clothes. Through this I have found that they can survive one wash, but not retain full functionality. Second wash killed the second one I had, while the first eventually accumulated other problems likely due to going through the wash.

Pros: Ordered this one refurbished, got it for $29 instead of $52. Sound quality is great, and is best without applying any equalizers.

Doesn't require any special conversion software. It claimed that one of my tracks needed to be converted, and the conversion was seamless.

Cons: -Did not include the advertised stopwatch feature (I didn't care about that anyway, but it's false advertising)

-Very slow re-building the index if you have changed any songs, usually takes it about 30 seconds to boot up.

Other Thoughts: Have only owned it for 2 days so I don't want to speak too soon, but I have owned Sansas in the past and you will usually get around a 12-16 months use out of them.

Pros: This is a good little MP3 player I use it when running and lifting and the clip comes in quite handy. The battery life is pretty good one charge will last a couple of trips to the gym. Overall durability is high, very light weight design and easily concealable form factor. I really like the Micro SD expansion slot as I have tripled the amount of storage capacity, it also allows for the easy movement of media data between different devices.

Cons: The interface does not seem to have been polished before release and some of the menus are a bit clunky. I might eventual falsh an aftermarket version onto it when one comes avaiable.

Other Thoughts: Does not require proprietary connector, also has the ability to survive moderate drops without completely self-destructing, unlike other music players I’ve owned.

Pros: Small, Easy enough menu to navigate.

Cons: None really considering the price.

Other Thoughts: Quit being a cheapo and buy a more expensive MP3 player. This item just was not what I wanted, but for the price I cant really complain.

Pros: Small, light, inexpensive.

Cons: Worked well for about 2 months then would not copy files. First 3 replacements (4 altogether) would not work right out of the box. I believe they were sending me returned players. Each time, the customer service calls were from 1 to 2 hours long. Last player worked well for last 3 months of warranty then quit 9 days out of warranty.

Pros: simple, clean and sounds ok.

Cons: Had 3 of these and they ALL broke within one month after purchase...I would not recommend these to anyone.
