4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product!

Pros: Really great product for the price. Solid sound and has lasted me 5 years now.

Cons: Very slight static sound comes out when on and not in use every once and a while. Nothing too bothersome though.

3 out of 5 eggs$80!? Yeah Right!

Pros: They put out sound and it is barely a full sound.

Cons: Price.
These are NOT worth no 80 bucks.
Very weak speakers.

Other Thoughts: Don't get them (at this price).
They aren't worth over $25.

4 out of 5 eggsA fair review

Pros: I got these speakers second hand from someone for Free who probably used them for a while, and now after another 4 years, yeah, they are not AWESOME or anything but still... They work, they are reliable.

Cons: Sometimes you have to give the subwoofer a little kick to make the sound start working correctly again.

And I would NEVER pay $80 for these, which is currently what I see them listed for. Probably would give $30 for them

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this speaker system - Low Volume

Pros: Price

Cons: Volume Quality, Cheap Construction

Other Thoughts: I purchased this speaker system some time ago and have been a loyal Logitech consumer (speakers, wireless keyboards/mice, cameras, etc.). I've also placed various Logitech products at my clients homes and offices throughout the years. Though I purchased it some time ago I left the system brand new in the box unopened until two weeks ago. I was disappointed when I hooked the system up to my TV to find that the TV's native speakers were louder than this speaker system and subwoofer. I thought it could be the TV, so I tested on a PC and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The results were the same whether it was music, video, games, etc. it was low volume quality from the speaker system. I opened a support ticket with Logitech to see if there was anything I could do to boost the volume and was told to try the standard things (ie. Can you test on multiple devices, make sure all cables are tightly connected). I had a glimmer of hope when they asked for my shipping address, but after giving them the S/N on the product they stated it was out of warranty. I was hoping they would possibly send me a refurbished newer model that has better volume quality, but they were unwilling to do anything for a loyal Logitech consumer. Since having this volume quality issue I've read so many more reviews about people having the same issue. I would stay away from this product and I'm actually going to stay away from Logitech products in general and switch to Kensington for Wireless keyboards/mice and D-Link for web cams. So sad that brands and companies are like this when they could easily satisfy their customers.

2 out of 5 eggsLong lasting, but not good sound.

Pros: Clear mid and high range, movable volume control and headphone jack.

Cons: Bass is dull. at high volume the speakers are fuzzy and scatchy sounding. Cables provided to connect to audio port are very low quality, or the audio out on the "bass unit" is made very poor.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap speaker system, its acceptable. but the sound isn't good at overall. I have not been impressed in any way with this sound system.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap and it shows

Pros: -Cheap
-Headphone pass through jack on the volume controller

Cons: -Almost no point in having the sub, bass is barely there.
-Short cables from the speakers to the sub

Other Thoughts: I bought these for some cheap speakers at the office, They are technically an upgrade from the dell soundbar on my monitor and laptop internal speakers.
I would not recommend these to anyone. I wish I had spent a little more and got some better speakers. If I put the sub under my desk I cannot tell the difference between it being turned all the way up and all the way down. I had to place it on my desktop to hear anything out of it at all, luckily it's quite small so it fits on my desk behind the monitor without problem.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None as far as I'm concerned.

Cons: -Quiet
-Low Bass

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace an ancient Altec Lansing system that I had snagged for something like $30 brand new. I've used Logitech headsets, keyboards, and webcams for years without issue, so I thought this would be a no brainer. I was wrong. I should have checked the wattage of this system before I bought it because this thing is severely under-powered. The sound is unimpressive and the bass is nearly non-existent. If you're looking for a nice, decently loud sound system, don't get this one.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap speakers for cheap

Pros: When I bought these they cost $30, and I got $30 speakers. They let me listen to music, etc. without headphones, and they haven't disintegrated yet.

Cons: The audio quality is nothing special. Also, the microphone jack on the external volume control doesn't have a corresponding speaker jack, so if you usually wear a non-usb headset, you're going to have to keep plugging it in in the back when you switch.
