4 out of 5 eggsNICE and CHEAP

Pros: they are nice, the features are great, cheap etc etc

Cons: had to remove an egg because of a defect when i received the product the left speaker was defective but after talking to logitech for less than an hour on the phone they are replacing it with no issues so i would still advise this product even with my issue

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The price, first and foremost. For $30, these speakers are better than I might have expected. For sitting at the computer, gaming and music, in most cases I had no problems - only when there was significant background noise did it become an issue. Living in a college apartment, this worked out well, as my roommates were never bothered when I used the speakers, so I would recommend these to anyone in a similar situation. The included subwoofer is also nice, though I rarely felt it making a difference.

Cons: That said, they are $30 speakers, and their durability and max volume reflect that. After owning them for about three months, the satellites made a loud pop sound, and the sound quality ever only approached about half of what it once was. Still largely usable, but it meant that I had to leave the speaker volume control close to max from then on. They have a slightly tinny sound, but I'm no audiophile, so that didn't bother me terribly (and I have a headset for if I want better sound). Yesterday, after about two years of use, the subwoofer (which the satellites plug into) made a pop sound, and the satellites went dead. Checking the sub, it was hot, and I smelled burning rubber or plastic, so it finally gave out. I hadn't been pushing it particularly hard, but I suppose it's a consequence of age.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I certainly got my money's worth from these speakers as a college student looking to save money. They blew out, the first far too soon for my liking, but the second was after two years of use, and I can accept that for the price I paid. If you're not looking to spend much, and don't need pristine audio, these speakers will serve you well. Just understand that they are budget speakers, and won't last forever.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't waste your time

Pros: good when they worked

Cons: All sounds became distorted after a couple of months; which means my return policy no longer matters.

I won't be wasting my money with Logitech anymore.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: They sound good and the subwoofer is nice to have. Played everything with them including games, music, and movies. The headphone jack is another nice addition. Look pretty good next to most computers.

Cons: The right speaker started going bad right after the warranty period ended. This makes the left kind of worthless and now they sit here unused.

Other Thoughts: Won't buy logitech speakers again and definitely not the 5.1/7.1 systems as that's just more speakers that can die or have problems.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Cheap Speakers

Pros: I've had them for a long time now and I still really like them. For the price they are great, I totally recommend them. They are plenty loud and have crisp sound. The sub has a dial on the back to turn up bass, it's got a good amount of bass but you wont be thumping or shaking windows with it.

Cons: My room mate said they sound like potato-quality compared to her $300 speaker bar

1 out of 5 eggsWas great, now being replaced

Pros: Nice sound quality, decent range of tones reproduced, loud enough.

look good, feels substantial

Cons: After only a few months of infrequent use, the Left speaker cuts out now and there is no way to fix it. The enclosure is sealed and I wouldn't be able to look inside it without destroying it. Sound sometimes comes back after unplugging/replugging the input cable, but there is no rhyme or reason to it. Subwoofer unit now does not work either.

This seems to be a fatal flaw with these speakers as I have seen other reviews say that one side will cut out for no reason.

Other Thoughts: This is the first Logitech product I have ever bought that failed on me so badly. I'm going to toss it up to a bad design. I will still buy Logitech, but I definitely do NOT recommend this set of speakers.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for what they are!

Pros: Decent sound for a $25 set of speakers with a sub.

Cons: Speakers are vulnerable to little fingers as they are chromed and are almost asking to be touched.
Crackly when the volume is cranked up high.

Other Thoughts: Using these as a cheap pair of speakers for my TV and they work good enough for that; as we don't run them extremely loud.

2 out of 5 eggsGood quality but one speaker cuts out now

Pros: It's a great quality speaker / woofer set for the price.

Cons: I've had it for about 8 months now and for the past couple months, the right speaker pretty much doesn't play anything anymore. The smaller speakers plugin to the woofer and I can only get the other speaker to work if I fidget with the plug on the woofer for like 10 minutes. And then usually the speaker just shuts off again after 30 minutes.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for price

Pros: Good price easy set up sound is nice and clear

Cons: Quiet max volume. If you need a higher volume for any reason (like listening to music from a different room or even just like a louder volume in general) these speakers are probably not what your looking for other than that as long as you take care of them they're just fine.

Other Thoughts: Good cheap buy if you need a sound system on a low budget.
