Combining a massive six heatpipe dual radiator design with an exquisite NF-P14/NF-P12 dual fan configuration, the NH-D14 is built for ultimate quiet cooling performance. Topped off with a tube of Noctua’s award-winning NT-H1 thermal compound as well as the new SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, the NH-D14 is an elite choice for the highest demands in premium quality quiet cooling.

  • newegg Six Heatpipe Dual Radiator Design Providing more surface area, better heat-distribution, and superior airflow efficiency than conventional tower style heatsinks, the NH-D14’s six heatpipe dual-radiator design was developed to provide the ultimate quiet cooling performance in dual-fan mode.
  • newegg Dual NF-P14/NF-P12 Fan Setup The NH-D14 sports a premium quality dual fan setup consisting of Noctua’s award-winning NF-P12 (120mm) and NF-P14 (140mm) fans, both of which feature Vortex-Control Notches, SCD technology, and SSO-Bearings in order to achieve the perfect balance of performance and quietness.

  • newegg Excellent Component Cooling Hanging out at the bottom of the fin stacks, the NF-P14 fan doesn’t only contribute to the NH-D14’s superb CPU cooling capabilities, but also provides a massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent component cooling performance.
  • newegg SecuFirm2 Multi-socket Mounting System Noctua’s enthusiast-grade SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA775, LGA1150, AM2, AM2+, and AM3), and meets the highest demands in safety, contact pressure and ease-of-use.
  • newegg NT-H1 Thermal Compound Noctua's much-acclaimed NT-H1 is a well proven pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance, excellent ease-of-use, and outstanding reliability.

5 out of 5 eggsMONSTER COOLER

Pros: CPU temperature never goes above 26~30C, and only goes to a maximum of 36C when I play games.

I've yet to try it on processor-demanding tasks -- but so far, so good. The thermal paste that comes with it is awesome as well.

Cons: Big? But I guess it's a necessary evil.

5 out of 5 eggsWOOW!

Pros: I wish I could give it 7 out of 5 stars! Yes, 7 out of 5! This fan is amazing! Before I got it, my temps were idle at around 40+c, while playing Shadow of Mordor and Ryse (maxed out 1080p) temps were around 78c. Now I'm idle around 10c and playing those games, I hit a max of 43c.

Cons: It is HUGE! But, I have plenty space in my case, so it's no big deal to me.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this, especially if you are afraid of water cooling like I am!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat cooler

Pros: Keeps it cool, long warranty for high reliability

Cons: big, make sure you check the dimensions of your case to make sure it will fit, mine is in a 'Thermaltake V71 core' and it works great.

Other Thoughts: start up temps in my machine are only 20-30 celsius depending on room, fans on back of case and top only get a little bit warm when playing BattleField 4 on Ultra settings.

5 out of 5 eggsBOSS

Pros: If you mount wheels on it you can drive it to work. This is big. Noctua has a compatibility chart that covers everything, down to my MB and case. As large as it is, it fit perfect and no problem clearing memory sticks. Support is top notch. I tried a water cooler 1st, wouldn't fit, Nepton didn't bother mentioning only fit full size cases so I got stuck with postage and restocking. Check Noctua's compatibility chart. Sign of a good company.

Cons: Not a con, but

Other Thoughts: Hook up CPU power line 1st. You can't see it after install. LOL
A good rear fan helps a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: It is so quiet. The manual was very helpful. The instillation was very painless.

Cons: The only con was the thermal paste that came with it. The paste's tip came off, but I worked with it. It was just a minor inconvenience.

Other Thoughts: If the manual doesn't help you I watched a video by Yummybeats on YouTube.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Quite sooo icyyy

Pros: So quite I am blown away but it is quite large so make sure you check your ram. You are able to move the fan if need be but just make sure.

Cons: Just big but it gets the job done. Much quieter and cooler then my past short coiled water cooling setup.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Keeps my amd fx 6300 running @ 4.2 max temp of 35c full load. Idles single digits when web browsing or just playing hd video.

Cons: Massive.......if u want to call that a con. wont fit in all cases as many others have said. In my antec 1100v2 case, it sits about 1/4" from side plexiglass panel on the 140mm fan.

Cant use tall heat spreaders...but who needs them...see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Awesome cooler, as good or better then most aio liquid cooling solutions. People have complained that on amd boards u have to mount it so that it vents out the top. Not true in my experience. On my msi 990fx gd65 motherboard, it sits just fine venting out the back of the case. I'm not sure if certain cheaper boards will only let you mount it pulling heat from the video card, but in my personal experience I found it to be untrue.

Most normal ram will fit under the cooler just fine, and with it drawing lots of air to feed itself right over the top of your ram, temps stay nice and cool on the modules and giant heat spreaders not needed.

All and all I would highly recommend this cpu cooler for anyone who wants artic temps and doesn't want the potential hassle of liquid cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to

Pros: Just gonna list things:
- Silent (like it's not there)
- Splitter included
- Works well
- HQ thermal paste

To give you an idea of how well this cools, runs CS:GO (my hottest game) max everything on FX 8350 @ 4.5ghz under 130ºF and averages at about 110ºF in other games.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not a Con but be aware of the size, took out 2 RAM slots on my uATX board and even then I had to re-arrange the fans.

5 out of 5 eggsStill Strong

Pros: Not as loud as you would think.
Works great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It fits in a Raidmax Helios ATX-819WB case on top of an Asus z77 mobo and G.Skill RipJaws X Series RAM without a hitch. This thing has been running almost 24x7 for over 2 years without a problem. Good buy for me.

5 out of 5 eggsVery High Quality

Pros: 32C idle, 50C high load. Running a Core i7 4790k 4Ghz overclocked to 4.6Ghz, 16Gig 2400 DDR3 RAM, 500GB SSD, 750 ti video. Getting 60fps on almost all games I own at max graphics.

Cons: This thing is massive; I mean huge beyond any cpu cooling device I've ever come across. And I've been building computers for near 20 years. It's also very heavy. Make sure to have your case laying on its back before you try to install the actually device.

Other Thoughts: Follow instructions. This was worth every penny; however, 2 out of my 4 slots of RAM are unusable now as they're being blocked by the cooler.
