5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case fans!

Pros: Super easy to install
Barely noticeable sound

Cons: The rubber mounts are a bit annoying, but I used the screws on one and it doesn't make any vibration noises

Other Thoughts: Purchased 2. Once I turned my computer on they both were going at around 1500 rpm for some reason. Used fan expert to tune them and now they run nice and quiet. My computer has never been at lower temps

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans, decently quiet, full range of PWM control

Pros: -My whole build is Black and Orange, so these mixed with the LTT edition of the Noctua NF-F12s fit my build perfectly
-They are not quite as quiet as the Noctuas, but they are still much quieter than the average fan
-They allow for full-range PWM control, from a bit less than 300 RPM up to max
-The cable is nicely sleeved and is pretty long. This was a big bonus
-Includes a splitter, that is also nicely sleeved

Cons: -The rubber vibration dampening material is ok, but not as effective as having something that goes around the edges. Or, I guess making it thicker so it actually comes into contact with the surface would help, too
-Black screws would've been nice. They are black fans, after all

4 out of 5 eggsawesome fan, bad mounts

Pros: It seems to be very quiet, not as much as i would really have hoped for but still pretty good! That said it MOVES AIR!!! for the level of noise i am super surprised!! nice wrapped cables and awesome mounts!

Cons: louder than i thought it would be and the rubber mounts were a HUGE pain to push into the fan mount. attaching the mount to my case was simple but installing on the fan was very difficult!

4 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality and cheap for PWM

Pros: PWM is great, Its why I personally purchased this fan, as other PWM fans were twice the price and not at all flaunting "silent."
Also with Hydro-Dynamic-Bearings I'm expecting this fan to last for quite some time which we all know how an off balanced fan can ruin... your year...

Cons: Rubber inserts are impossible to install which may increase its ability to keep its decibels in check but you really have to want it...
I gave up and just "used a engineered piece of metal"(Inappropriate term I guess) to put this guy to the case like the rest of my fans. The frustration alone here is why I think its only a 4/5 fan that and it really was louder than I had anticipated initially.
In all honesty that is not 100% why people are having an issue with its Decibels.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con but a misunderstanding by many who have bought this fan. Its a fan with PWM for a reason, you need to power manage this fan in order to maintain its "silent feature." Also case design and how you mount it play a huge part in how silent this fan will really be.

If you're going for pin drop quiet I'd recommend something a bit more with that in mind but they cost more and you most likely need multiple of them. Plus under load are you being realistic? To me when the computer is idle I don't want to hear it and this fan can do that given proper power management. Under load it does come across as a louder fan than I had expected but only noticeable when I'm listening for it...and stop shouting. In all honesty I could just keep it at around 70% which is about when I started gaining Decibels. Also noticed that under the, I think, 700 RPM marker the fan makes more noise.

Pros: Excellent fans. Quite, moves a good amount of air. Sturdy. Long connector cord with braided protective covering. Great look for a non-illuminated fan.

4 out of 5 eggsGood drive, could be better

Pros: Sturdy drive
Easy to install for even a novice
Whisper Quiet on side mounting
No screws needed though can be used

Cons: On flat mountings drive tends to make vibrating noise even if screws are used to mount it. Solution found was to keep air flow partially blocked on top of tower to cause feed back pressure. Problem seems to be the way the blades float in their spindle and tend to vibrate up and down in the magnetic float. The feed back pressure forces the blades to keep at a steady constant without bouncing up and down in the magnetic spindle. If the blades are turned to pull into the case instead of blow out, this vibration does not occur.

Other Thoughts: If the vibration issue, even though minor, didn't occur this fan would be 5 egg stellar. I can not hear them unless the tower gets very heated up and only fan I ever hear is the CPU which is a faint whisper.

5 out of 5 eggsBingo

Pros: -PWM controlled
-Utterly silent operation
-Pushes plenty of air
-Works fairly well against a cooler
-Fairly lengthed power cable

Cons: -May not suit your color preference (subjective)

Other Thoughts: This is one of the quietest fans I've used. For the price, there are few others that can beat it out without skimping on things like PWM control or using a sleeve type bearing. With unobstructed airflow these are completely silent. Placed against a cooler or fan grill as a push fan and these are completely silent. Placed as a pull fan and you may hear some resonance, but that's entirely dependent on the way air flows into the grill and less to do with the fan.

Easily worth the money, and I plan on getting more of these in the future.

4 out of 5 eggsI put Noctua, Venturi, and Vardar back on my shelf for these fans

Pros: Amazing airflow and static pressure through radiators/filters/poorly ventilated cases or anything else.

Very quiet operation when they're around or below 1100rpm. Between 900-1100rpm you get quiet fans that move great amounts of air. with a 1600rpm max these fans can get loud but that amount of airflow is insane.

Cons: I own 7 of these fans total and 2 of them I cannot use with PWM control because they make an unbearable noise when pwm is used. Voltage control with those fans work fine with no noises but if I'd be upset if I couldn't easily use voltage control for them for some reason. I just control those fans separately from the others and its not a problem.

Other Thoughts: I own, venturi, vardar, nf-p12 and s12a and these fans move better air than any of them. The only fans I use in my system right now are these cougars and some Xinruilian i got from xspc since I dont have any 140mm cougars yet.

I use them on 3 different types of radiators (push/pull on one) and they perform well on all of them. A thick radiator can be a challenge for a single fan with quiet operation but that is the case with any fan. I find that these hold their own VERY well in the fan market

I can't wait to try the 140mm on my new 140mm radiator, the ones I have are so so
(hint hint cougar! send me some ;)
