5 out of 5 eggsquiet

Pros: well made, very high cfm at ridiculously low rpms, personally the best fans i've seen or heard of at a resonable price. probably better than many that cost more.

Cons: don't judge too quickly, these and a new hd i got all had a short break in, my pc studio seemed to gain a few decibels at first, i could've lived with it because everything cooled so much better without ramping up fan speeds. well after a few days my pc fell dead silent. the cougars are set to run at 600 to 900 rpm only

Other Thoughts: i thought these were a touch louder than my stock fans at first, i was wrong. the cougars cool much better at the lowest rpm possible than my old fans on the highest speed, and those were good fans. but the cougars, especially the one on the cpu are amazing. i had a push pull on my gaia hs and it was way overkill, just one of these on the heat sink, aligned with the same cougar case fan a few inches away dropped my silent pc temps 10c at least, and i soon discovered you don't need to set them up to ramp up. they cool so good at low low rpms that there is little difference when they speed up.

5 out of 5 eggsfrosty and silent

Pros: low noise, high CFM, these push more air and concentrated where you need it. on the lowest speed cooling is better than my stock fans on high. tried a push pull on my gaia cooler and it was way overkill. just needed one fan there, the other cougar in the case ligns up a few inches away anyway. the fans themselves are silent, but you will hear the air movement on higher settings. cpu fan dropped cpu temps under heavy load 5c at 600 rpm 10c + at 1500 rpm. so if silence is the goal, these will cool better at the lowest rpms than any fan i've tried

Cons: cooler mount tabs would've been nice

Other Thoughts: my stock antec and xigmatec fans were silent when not under load, but had to quickly ramp up when the eight cores kicked in. those fans idled at 1000 rpm, maxed out at 2000 rpm and got a lot louder than a quiet pc should be under load. my first thoughts after installing three cougars, one case two cooler, was these are way too loud for me. all were running my usual 1000 rpm. temps were crazy. 23c and wouldn't heat up no matter what you did it stayed in the low 30s. but it was like a small jet engine running. well all the fans as low as possible on my mb 600 rpm, frosty still, very very quiet. that's a lotta fans. i pulled the second one off the cooler it wasn't needed.

5 out of 5 eggsBest fan

Pros: This fan is the best there is that I have ever come across hands down. It is pretty darn quite as far as noise makers go and dose the job of keeping my computer nice and cool. For the CFM this fan pushes out v.s. the amount of noise it is a not even a question if you should get it or not. Just buy the fan and I am pretty sure you too will be happy with it. I work with 3DS Max and do some hard core gaming and this thing is the only fan in my system. So yes just buy it. It works the best for the size vs noise ratio.

Cons: Cons, I can't think of any. It comes with all the hardware you need and everything. Can't get better. So no cons, just positives. If they could make a fan that works even better in the way of keeping noise volume even lower, I'd buy it but really they did a great job with this one.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy from this company again in a hart beat if they make one that tops this one. Hands down best case fan.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fans money can buy

Pros: High Quality fans push a lot of air, silent hydro dynamic bearings that last forever.

Cons: Price, but with these fans you get your moneys worth,i will not buy the loud road cone orange fans. even the black ones have the orange vibration pads on the corners but you can easily color them black with a sharpie.

Other Thoughts: Obviously they don, t last forever but they are rated at 300.000 hours of use if they last half that time they will run for more than ten years.

5 out of 5 eggsThe better cougar fan

Pros: This fan has great concentrated airflow just as advertised.
There is no sound what so ever from the baring, noise comes from turbulence on higher rpm's.
Also comes with nice rubber padding and installation accessory, I didn't notice any vibration transferred to the case.

Cons: None if you like simplicity no fancy led's this works.

Other Thoughts: I have the same fan in the orange version and is much noisier. I don't know if its related to the color its the same model basically, or rather quality control. I have them both installed vertically, so it's possible some of the noise do dissipate in horizontal set up but haven't tried it.
Also this fan is great for moving air across the lenght of a case, if it's directed to something that needs cooling, like RAM,GPU, north bridge, or MB VRM, due to the concentrated air flow.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent fans

Pros: Very very quiet! These things are very silent and they move a lot of air! They are 10x better than the stock fans in my case! Highly recommend to anyone

Cons: The 4 pin connectors could be better. Kind of hard to connect but a slight issue, still works fantastic

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended

5 out of 5 eggsGood Fan

Pros: QUIET! Smooth fan, very quiet, looks good, keeps the air in my case flowing.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Comes with Molex adapter, just in case.
I would've liked an all black version, without the orange corners, but orange is Cougars thing, so whatevs.
I have four of these fans, and could not use the included rubber mounting "screw" things...just could not make them work in any scenario. Probably my own ignorance on properly installing them though...idk.

5 out of 5 eggsVery quiet

Pros: Surprisingly quiet fan. It does the job perfectly and clipped right into place without needing any tools on my Antec 900.

Cons: None as of yet

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Cheap, and Effective

Pros: Quiet fan, moves a lot of air, good price, and the screwless mounting is very nice once you know how to use it.

Cons: None that I could find.

Other Thoughts: I already have 2 of these in my system, and I'll be getting more of the same if I ever need to replace a fan.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome fans

Pros: Worked as described. Airflow is great and the product seems solid. I've installed two on my system and one on my parents... these are great.

Cons: Rubber pins are a bit of a pain to install. But once you got one, you realize how to do the rest.

Other Thoughts: I'll be buying a couple more of these for another project.
