5 out of 5 eggsBest fans I've used

Pros: Move lots of air.
Silent
Look good.I've had lots of fan over the year from all my cooler master blade forces failing, Noctua that doesn't quiet move much air, to these.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've had lots of fan over the year from all my cooler master blade forces failing, Noctua that doesn't quiet move much air, to these.

I decided to try cougar after eye balling them for a while and I'm impressed, they have a good feel to them, they look good, and they move a fair amount of air.

If you're looking for heatsink or case fans these are what you should be buying.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: *Looks impressive.
*Airflow is quite good.

Cons: *Rattles at both low and high speeds.

Other Thoughts: Judging by the other reviews, I'm far from alone with this issue.
I installed it in a vertical orientation, fan buzzed loudly when powered on then lowered in volume but continued buzzing when RPM decreased. I'm RMA'ing this.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet at moving air. Reasonably priced. Easy to mount.

Cons: I hear a high pitched whine after installing this fan. Could be the PWM.

Other Thoughts: It's easier to install the rubber mounts than some think. Just get it wet, and Puuulll it through the case. After you have all 4 through the case, index the fan and start with mounts hardest to get to, and puuulllll them through the fan mount holes. The rubber seems to be plenty strong to complete the mount process.

5 out of 5 eggsBest fans you can buy

Pros: Everything, this fan moves more air than a standard ball bearing fan and does that quieter than a standard fan. I use these fans on my liquid cooler radiators and they are phenomenal.

Cons: You can't buy 4 for $10 like a standard fan, but that is expected when dealing with a high quality item such as this.

Other Thoughts: I spent a long time making a decision on which fans to buy for my new rig, and after owning multiple of these fans, I will never buy anything else. My new rig has 7 fans (4 120mm & 3 140mm) and it is more quiet than my old build with 7 120mm fans by a lot. My old PC sounded like a spaceship taking off and my new build with these fans is whisper quiet.
