5 out of 5 eggsCool and quiet

Pros: High air flow, very quiet, and sturdy design. This is not your common plastic fan. The rubber pads by the screw holes make for vibration free operation. Very pleased with these fans. They are a little more expensive than some other fans, but well worth it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wish they came with a bigger variety of LED colors, but one can't be too picky.

5 out of 5 eggsoutstanding air and low noise

Pros: A really nice fan, and good looking.

Very quiet vs other fans that push the same amount of air - almost 70 CFM!
.
At full speed, it is as quiet as one of my other 3 speed 120mm fans set to "low."

Real good design.
I like that it doesn't have LED lighting .. or at least the absence is no problem.

It comes with a (really short) adapter to take it from the 4 pin fan/3 pin fan to big 4 pin molex standard old computer power, so you can hook it up anywhere.
No extra adapter need to be purchased.

Cons: Price - Unless on sale it is pricey.

I wish they made a standard, non PWM, or one with a 2 or 3 way speed switch version, if that were cheaper.

Other Thoughts: The built in fan guard is backwards to what I would expect, or at least what I wanted. That is I expect a fan to blow in, and that places the fan guard on the wrong side ....

This may be "the right side" for other people, or for blowing air "into" a case. however, but as the guard and fan itself is one single piece of plastic, you can't change that.

I used the fan as a replacement to blow air into a drive cage, and places the fan guard on the inside of the cage, it that helps explain better.

fyi - it really helped cool the drives better than the cage's stock fan, and far quieter too!

I was able to use a regular 120mm fan guard, so now both sides have some protection from stray cables.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far... excellent

Pros: * Move lots and lots of air.
* Quiet.
* Quality design.
* Sleeved cables.

Cons: No lights :(

Other Thoughts: Put 5 of these babies in my case to replace a mish-mosh of different 120mm fans. Overall, the difference is huge: Push-pull on Corsair H80 keeps i73820 in the mid 40s, keeps hard drives in the mid 30s, and the increased airflow even helps out the GPU. PWM means you can adjust the fan speed via the mobo, but at 1500RPM+ they're so quiet I don't bother. They aren't the prettiest fans in the world, but they perform so well that it doesn't matter.

5 out of 5 eggsBest fans ever!

Pros: Quiet (even at full speed), move a lot of air, high quality fan and sleevig

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wish these were sold in bulk packs of say two or four. I have two of these in the front of my Corsair C70, as well as one in the rear of the case. These fans are very high quality and look great! Even at full speed, they are pretty tolerable. I wouldn't say silent, but not loud at all. I will be looking to purchase the 140mm version for my Corsair H110. At full speed, the stock fans on the Corsair H110 are louder than three of these Cougar fans at full speed.

Prior to this purchase, I was not familiar with Cougar. I will be using their products for sure in the future. I chose these over those other fans with the interchangeable rings lol.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: It's silent....even under load I can't hear it. It's amazing the amount of air it pushes. I'm using it as my only intake fan and couldn't be any happier. I'm going to replace my top exhaust fan with one of these bad boys also. Would highly recommend

Cons: Wasn't free

3 out of 5 eggsWas good

Pros: Quiet ,Good for radiators

Cons: Were expensive when they hit the market. Had one die within a month of purchase .Never EVER had a fan die this fast.Not even the elcheapo oem fans that usually come included in the box.
Removed it and installed a 6 YEAR OLD ANTEC 120MM and it is purring right along. Too bad, had high hopes for cougar fans.Last dime They get of mine!
I mean its a fan ,its not a processor or RAM .You'd think it would last longer than a month.

Other Thoughts: Been building PCs for 15 years.This is the first and last time I stray from Antec.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan, runs quiet, worth the price

Pros: Does what it says on the packaging, it keeps my case nice and cool and does so more or less silently. Even under load, playing high-end games or encoding video, it stays reasonably quiet.

Cons: I wasn't quite sure how to install the fan with the rubber mounts, but that's probably my fault.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because my stock case fan sounded like a tiny jet engine and I decided I wasn't having that anymore. This fan is not only silent but also helps keep everything in my case 5 to 10 degrees cooler at idle as well as in heavy processing situations, while running at fewer RPMs than the stock fan it replaced. In short, I'm happy with my purchase.
