PTI-G4512 Thermal Conductive Compound is an excellent thermal conductive solution for medium-power devices. PTI-G4512 is formulated with an advanced silicone fluid that interacts with thermally conductive filler particles to form a highly stable matrix that helps to prevent pump-out and other common failure mechanisms. PTI-G4512 delivers very good thermal performance and high reliability. Molecularly small and structurally stable, the multi-award winning PTI-G4512 is the perfect thermal compound for your needs of cooling devices.

  • newegg Maximizes Heat Transfer The high-performance silicon-base thermal grease PTI-G4512 eliminates minute air gaps between the heat source and the heat sink caused by their uneven surfaces. With thermal conductivity up to 2.5 W/m.k, it outperforms standard thermal compounds 4 to 10 degrees lower CPU full load core temperature.
  • newegg Long-lasting performance The non-curing & non-corrosive odorless thermal compound will not dry out, harden or melt and can even be stable at elevated temperatures. Having no metal or any other conductive material, the PTI-G4512 will not result in any damage even when it contacts to electrical traces, pins and leads.
  • newegg Easy to apply In syringe and brush attached enables easy application and prevents unnecessary waste.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: very effective in cooling CPU. The best I have ever used.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: used this for AMD FX-6300 very effective in cooling overclocking at 3800nhz. idles at 45 F. with previous TG when trying to remove CPU I had actually pulled the CPU out of the socket which is not good, I can tell the TG is going to be more stable.

5 out of 5 eggsThumbs up!

Pros: For any basic to moderate CPU application this is the only thing I would consider buying, and these days most CPUs come pre-pasted with what is probably really close to this exact paste.

Cons: None, it's perfect for almost anything except the most demanding of setups. Which if you're wondering if your setup is "the most demanding of setups" then it's probably not and you should buy this paste.

Other Thoughts: Used it to upgrade the CPU in an old dell gx240. Applied it once and that was it. Computer has been running great for over a year with this paste.

5 out of 5 eggsNew Standard?

Pros: Move over Arctic Silver, XIGMATEK wants that top spot! I've used both Arctic Silver 5 and Noctua NT-H1 in past builds, and this stuff rolls the floor with them. I'm using an i7 3770K OC'd to 4.2gh/z, and this stuff made temps drop to 30c idle, down from 35c idle with the Noctua paste. It spreads well and has enough inside for 3 or 4 applications.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great performance, included spreader is well engineered, grease spreads nicely, lives up to insane benchmarks with stock cpu fan.

Cons: This box is required. Now that I think of it,... I can't see how much is left because the tube isn't transparent. I've used two applications and it maybe half gone. Or maybe not. That's all I can complain about, even after being forced to complain.

Other Thoughts: The reason my computer started shutting down from being so hot was that I took to running games in Wine

I read about this grease in a review with benchmarks and the results seemed spectacular. I was not disappointed.

My computer is about 5 years old and I went looking for grease because it was reading 99 degrees and shutting off. I replaced the fan with an unused stock intel fan but only had the white thermal paste. Same results. I actually saw it register at 117 degrees. Core2Duo 3.16Ghz

I used ArticCooler's 2-stage Grease Remover and Surface Purifier.
I usually just glob grease on there, but I used the spreader the make a nice even coat and put a little ball in the middle.

With this grease the temperature doesn't hit 69 degrees. The CPU tends to be under 40deg idle in my basement.
My laptop, also in a cool room, around 40 degree idle, then I sat in front of the fire place and played a game and it didn't go over 65 deg.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply the best

Pros: Non conductive, perfect consistency, no burn in, doesn't dry or crack and therefore doesn't need to be replaced. I've used so many different thermal compounds over the years and this is simply the best spreading and longest lasting thermal compound I've ever used. Forget Arctic Silver, get this. Dropped temps 5 degrees over the previous A.S. 5 that I had on my 2770k@4.8ghz. CPU sits around 46 under heavy heavy load with my CNPS9900max. After sharing my opinion with many of my IT and tech friends they've all been converted too. I have yet to get any bad feedback from anyone that I've recommended this product to. Use it on your GPU for even better temp drops.

Cons: Using it on my friend's builds and forgetting to buy more!

Other Thoughts: Buy this, don't buy A.S.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing, simply amazing

Pros: Built a new rig, using a CM Hyper 212+ on a 3570k non-oc'd. Put 2 rice grain sized dabs on the bottom of the 212. Im am averaging 26c or so, with peak usage reaching maybe 35-40c at most. Simply the best thermal grease I've ever used. I used AS 5, Zalman, CM, even Intel's TG and nothing compares to the Xigmatek. Totally sold on it from now on.

Cons: None to think of.

Other Thoughts: Ime, this is the BEST thermal compound ever. Its literally that good. I will never use anything else.

4 out of 5 eggsAn Honest Review

Pros: Made decision to purchase based on good performance reviewed at following sites:

hardwaresecrets.com/article/Thermal-Compound-Roundup-February-2012/1490/3

maximumpc.com/article/features/geek_tested_17_thermal_pastes_face?page=0,1

but I still haven't received it (ordered 11/26). So I went out and go Antec Formula 7 from Staples for $-15 instead. That also had really good reviews. PC has only been set up for 3 days, but's run well since then idle in mid-to-upper 30's.

Cons: It didn't arrive fast enough for me to use in my build. My fault for not ordering it with the rest of my stuff together, I suppose.

Other Thoughts: New Build, Assembled 11/30:
[Chip] Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
[Cooler] XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283
[PSU] ENERMAX NAXN 82+ ENP650AWT B 650W

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Works very well. I do not overclock, so I cannot tell the peroformace with overclocking. What I was working on was a quiet PC instead. Prime 95 test, low noise, great news.

Cons: A lot of air in the tube
