The new Xigmatek CLF Crystal Series of 140mm system fans continues the company's innovative design focus to provide advanced features and performance while maintaining excellent value to the end user. CLF Series is created with attention and detail, and not only does it look prestige from every angle it is manufactured with impeccable performance.

The CLF Series fan comes standard with quad LEDs incorporated with transparent frame and blades insuring your case fan to be the center of attraction.

The CLF features a high quality "Fluid Circulative Bearing" which is tested to increase its lifespan by 50%. The Fluid Circulative Bearing uses a remarkable re-circulative fluid method which enables the bearing to rotate at a high and stable revs, reaching rotations up to 1500 RPM. Unlike average bearings on the market, FCB will cancel out 98.9% friction which means in practical everyday usage this ultimately produces a near silent atmosphere (<20 dBA).

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Looks good. Works. Comes with power adapter and hardware. Good price. Not loud.

Cons: Connected to a speed controller, my stock Fractal R4 case fans move noticeably more air on every setting.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks cool... blue LEDs... inexpensive

Cons: Fan "surged" from day 1, creating an annoying resonance/buzzing/vibration in my case. Replaced with Corsair AF140's which are fantastic.

4 out of 5 eggsgood fan but question...

Pros: nice looking, solid built with corner flanges joined...

Cons: i have same fans but in 120mm as exhausts in my haf 912..they are fully controllable whereas the 140mm is not.. had gotten it as side intake, but added too much noise without being able to slow it down a bit

Other Thoughts: also bought the same in 200mm as front intake and it isn't controllable either.. Xigmatek-- why 120mm can be controlled, but same series 140mm and 200mm cannot be?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: I have four xigmatek crystal series fans running in my HAF932, (2)-120mm push/pull, 120mm at the bottom of the case and this 140mm for the rear exhaust. These fans are super nice quality and move tons of air. The 3 Xigmatek 120mm fans have been running in my system for at least 2 years w/out any problems. I have all of them running at full speed and they are honestly pretty quiet. If you want some clean looking LED fans in your case then the Xigmatek Crystal series are the way to go especially w/ a windowed case.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Newegg lists the 140mm fan as 60.5 CFM but on the back of the box they are listed as 63.5 CFM.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet

Pros: Quiet and moves a decent amount of air. I tested it at a full 12v, and all I could hear was wind noise. No annoying whine, or hums to speak of. The mobo now regulates it and keeps it spinning slow and silent.
Comes with molex adapter.

Cons: 3-pin Cable is not terribly long, but I had some spare extensions.
Not a fan of the LED's, however snipping the wires was easy enough.

4 out of 5 eggsBlue

Pros: Blue LEDs, 140mm, good cable length, decent air flow.

Cons: It has a sort of sickly rattle whenever the fan is spinning at a lower RPM. It doesn't sound too bad at a high RPM though. I think this is because the rattle sort of gets drowned out by the sound of flowing air, but there is still the rattle. This may just be a defect in my fan though.

Other Thoughts: This is a great fan overall, and it works really well. But there is that rattle(It doesn't rally bother me though). If you're the kind of person who wants a completely silent machine, you should probably look for something else. Also if you're have some huge gaming rig with water cooling and a light show, this fan my just make it sound like your grandmas desktop.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Black Friday Deal

Pros: -Ended up getting 2 of these on Black Friday for 2.31 each... what a steal

-LED's are quite bright, very aesthetically appealing

-Comes with 4 pin molex adapter, no worries about if my motherboard has enough fan headers

Cons: Fan doesn't push as much air as I would like, but that much airflow isn't necessary in my build as I don't plan on overclocking anything in my rig.

Other Thoughts: If you don't mind sacrificing a bit of performance vs. other 140mm fans around the same price, these are probably the "prettiest" and brightest 140's I've had the pleasure of using. Just don't try to match the blue with any other LED's.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than average

Pros: Black Friday sale was excellent, so a great value for these fans.

Beautfiul soft blue glow on the transparent frame.

Very quiet at 700RPM and below, no tonal sound components.

Good airflow, even at low RPM (tested down to 500RPM with a fan controller).

No motor noise difference between horizontal and vertical mounting.

Cons: Quite noisy at full 1000RPM. Strong air rush sound with a low hum, and every fan I got has a ticking sound to some extent (motor or a combination of motor + air turbulence, but each of the fans sounds a bit different--one is particularly noisy). Can hear the motor even at low RPM when close to the fans.

Other Thoughts: At ~3 feet away, and 700RPM, the fans are very very quiet, and unless you have great sound insulation in your case, I'd recommend running these fans at sub 800RPM, if noise is a concern. Airflow should still be quite good.

Vibration through the fan frames is pretty strong, so silicone mounts are highly recommended to reduce the hum.

These are case airflow fans - I wouldn't use them on a radiator / heatsink.
