4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: At half speed (50% PWM), it moves a respectable amount of air and is nearly silent. There's a faint whine, but with my case, it's only audible if I place my ear right next to the air intake.

Cons: At full speed (100% PWM), it isn't silent, or even close to it. Almost all of the noise is the whoosh of moving air: I couldn't identify any motor whine or other annoying sounds.

Other Thoughts: The PWM support lets you pick what you want: move a moderate amount of air silently, or an enormous amount of air noisily.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet? Where? Show me!

Pros: The fact that you can take off the blades and clean them is definitely a nice feature. I purchased these for the long life span, low DB, high CFM and nano magnetic design that's self-lubricating.

Cons: However, I was quite disappointed when I realized the DB level on these fans are just a little quieter than the previous 120mm Antec fans I replaced. I don't know where you people are getting the impression these are silent. They are no where near silent, not even close!

For this, I have taken away 1 egg. Though as always, newegg has the best service!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Used these for a new PC build. I bought a few more because of how silently they operated and I liked the look of the "aluminum" ring.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans!!

Pros: I added these fans to a push/pull corsair H105 setup. Couldn't be happier. They are really quiet. No rattling or undesirable noises.

Cons: There are none.

Other Thoughts: I added a fan controller so when I jump in a game I can turn up these fans.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Heatsink Fan!

Pros: Great fans. I bought 1 of these to go on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO to complete a PUSH - PULL effect on the CPU fan. Well, The coolermaster fan died while the Enermax kept going. I bought them both brand new. I then bought another one to replace the Coolermaster that failed.

I recommend these. Very good build quality.

Cons: None, they work as designed.

Other Thoughts: Every month or 2, I'll shut my system down to blow out the case/fans with a can of air.

4 out of 5 eggsNice fan

Pros: Very good air movement. Keeps system very cool. No LED.

Cons: Not as quiet as I thought it would be.

Other Thoughts: I bought this fan along with another brand that quoted about the same db noise level. The other is noticeably quieter than this. Still a good fan, just don't expect silence. I have built a PC that is virtually silent, but these fans do not get you there.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Didn't cost much so I don't have to feel so bad about wasting my money.

Cons: Garbage. Bought this PWM fan specifically because I wanted to make my case quieter. I knew I was in for trouble when I took it out of its box and twirled the rotor only to have it make a low rustling noise.

Under power the fan made even more noise and, worse yet, it's the kind of noise that's hard to ignore.

Other Thoughts: There's a certain distinctively-colored fan brand that I stick with normally, but this was a knock-around build I didn't want to invest too much in.

Still wanted a PWM though, so I looked around, saw the fair reviews for this and purchased it. I'd also bought another similarly priced PWM from another vendor and had the complete opposite experience, so needless to say I'll be returning this and another one of those instead.

If you don't care about having a silent PC (or some other component will mask the noise) then maybe this fan isn't too terrible, but why even bother when you can get a quieter unit for about the same price?
