5 out of 5 eggsGreat Heatsink Fan!

Pros: Great fans. I bought 1 of these to go on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO to complete a PUSH - PULL effect on the CPU fan. Well, The coolermaster fan died while the Enermax kept going. I bought them both brand new. I then bought another one to replace the Coolermaster that failed.

I recommend these. Very good build quality.

Cons: None, they work as designed.

Other Thoughts: Every month or 2, I'll shut my system down to blow out the case/fans with a can of air.

4 out of 5 eggsNice fan

Pros: Very good air movement. Keeps system very cool. No LED.

Cons: Not as quiet as I thought it would be.

Other Thoughts: I bought this fan along with another brand that quoted about the same db noise level. The other is noticeably quieter than this. Still a good fan, just don't expect silence. I have built a PC that is virtually silent, but these fans do not get you there.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Didn't cost much so I don't have to feel so bad about wasting my money.

Cons: Garbage. Bought this PWM fan specifically because I wanted to make my case quieter. I knew I was in for trouble when I took it out of its box and twirled the rotor only to have it make a low rustling noise.

Under power the fan made even more noise and, worse yet, it's the kind of noise that's hard to ignore.

Other Thoughts: There's a certain distinctively-colored fan brand that I stick with normally, but this was a knock-around build I didn't want to invest too much in.

Still wanted a PWM though, so I looked around, saw the fair reviews for this and purchased it. I'd also bought another similarly priced PWM from another vendor and had the complete opposite experience, so needless to say I'll be returning this and another one of those instead.

If you don't care about having a silent PC (or some other component will mask the noise) then maybe this fan isn't too terrible, but why even bother when you can get a quieter unit for about the same price?

3 out of 5 eggsNothing Special

Pros: standard size. come with mounting hardware and power adapter. variable speed mb.

Cons: yeah...um...I was disappointed that there was absolutely no noticeable difference at default speeds (presumably full throttle 15k rpm). running in silent mode was appreciably quiet, but it's considerably louder idling in silent mode than the sff htpc sitting next to it while I test the components.

these fans aren't bad, but you get what you pay for. and they are, in the end, relatively inexpensive case fans. nothing special. I cannot comment on their longevity.

Other Thoughts: I grabbed a handful of these based on user reviews and stated specs because I wanted to convert an old i7 midtower into a home server. That meant something that would idle for a long time quietly. I replaced the psu and gfx with passive cooling units, and these fans replaced 1) the case fan and 2) the radiator/case fan on the liquid cooling unit (h60).

2 out of 5 eggsNice but LOUD

Pros: Looks like good build quality

Cons: Loud

Other Thoughts: Despite being touted as quiet these are as loud as my Antec 120mm 3 speed case fans on the high setting. No on-fan speed controller means you're stuck with the noise unless you can lower RPM via MB. Sending back to new egg. my bad for not checking for on-fan speed control

2 out of 5 eggsQuality issues

Pros: Quiet
Looks good
Air flow seems appropriate

Cons: Price
Quality

Other Thoughts: Owned it for just over a year. The fan has just developed an extremely annoying rattling noise, which has resulted in me replacing the fan.

2 out of 5 eggsupdate to previous review

Pros: cheap. quiet

Cons: horrible blade removal design

Other Thoughts: This fan claims to have a detachable blade hub. It requires EXCESSIVE force to remove, and after reattaching it, it never would seat correctly and makes a loud clicking sound.

This is a good fan on all other merits, but do NOT attempt to remove the blades, it ruined my fan and could very well ruin yours too.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

It shouldn’t take excessive force to remove the blade. The blade should pop right out when gently pushed by two thumbs near the center of the blade.
We believe the fan you received may be defective. Please contact us and submit an RMA ticket with the link provided below. We will be able to replace one under warranty policy.

5 out of 5 eggsNice fans

Pros: Quiet. Good price. Look nice. No annoying LED's to snip out with my side cutters.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought 4 of these to use as PWM case fans but changed my mind and used 2 in a push/pull config on a Loki cpu cooler that originally had a 92mm fan. (Okay, they're zip tied on, but it works). Pushes enough air, even at the lowest speed, to keep a 100W AMD cpu nice and cool. At the highest speed you can hear them, but they are not loud. This is from a guy who HATES fan noise on any kind of device.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This is the quietest fan for a decent wind flow on the market. It does not have annoying lights. The construction of the unit is solid as the fan tube is metal with the company name cut in. There is also a high quality nylon braid covering the cable cable. It is a 4 pin fan which is still rare and gives better control over performance. 25-75 cubic feet . Also they are cheap.

Cons: The Molex is cheap and unusable.I say this as the pins were not able to fit into any of my molex connectors without large amounts of effort. By large amount I mean I removed the individual pins to nest them inside the connector by hand. I would not trust this part.

Other Thoughts: I got these in an aftermarket cooler for an r9 290x. My system was passively cooled till the 290x. these fans make very little noise, Most systems PSU will drown them out they are so quiet. But to know they can get louder.

I also noticed my units were weighted with some caulk. Be careful not to remove that when you clean them.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome fans

Pros: Good airflow and performance. Quality construction, aesthetics, removable fan blades

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: These have worked great for me. They are very quiet when ran through PWM software. Provide excellent airflow. These really should only be used as case fans as they dont provide hardly any static pressure
