3 out of 5 eggsAh, the push pins

Pros: Cooler is fine. Nice quiet PWM fan but must have cool case for overclocking.

Cons: Heard a funny noise on my desk. Did not know what it was. Thought something fell off the edge? Was one push pin breaking I figured out later. Unrelated I thought, computer started acting funny. Checked my temps. 99C. Nough said. They don't always shut down like their supposed to.

Other Thoughts: Anyway, ordered new pins from China for $1.61 on e bay. We'll see how that goes. Tried to steal pins from an old intel cooler but there is one undefeatable tab to prevent separating the black and white parts. That's AFTER the defeatable ones. Do NOT want to pull motherboard for this b s.

4 out of 5 eggsRosewill runs up, but it's a bit behind.

Pros: -It works great as a cooler, and the fan is great for pushing air and keeping quiet.
-The push pins are easy to work with on Intel systems, and the manual is well written.
-The packaging was good, if cheap.
-It tries to copy Cooler Master.

Cons: -The design of the AMD adapter limits the use of heat-spreaders on your ram, meaning you can only use about average dimm height on the ram slots. It should have been designed within this limitation, and used better hardware for mounting the heatsink on an AMD system.
-The thermal paste is not good, but it will work in a pinch.

Other Thoughts: -If they re-designed this so you could orient this heat sink in any 2 positions for AMD adapters, like with the Intel adapters, this would be 5 stars, and would out match the popular Cooler Master 212. As it stands, this is a good first imitation, but it desperately cries out for that better bracket for an AMD system.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Cooler

Pros: I like the cooler enough to keep it. My temps have never gone over 65C with none overclocking, but will go over 70C if you want to overclock it, so I wouldn't recommend it for overclocking.

Cons: One of the stands broke off, and is pretty hard to install on an Intel LGA 1155 socket.
(Does not work as a passive cooler) Which doesn't matter too much.

2 out of 5 eggsSqueaks

Pros: Large fan, lower speeds, less noise

Cons: After a couple years of use, it started squeaking

Other Thoughts: I purchased this fan to put into my recording rig. Half way through a session not long ago, the fan started squeaking and bleeding into recordings. Horrible thing to have happen to a paying client.

2 out of 5 eggsGood fan, last 2 years

Pros: Nice size fan, silent and keep the CPU cool

Cons: The plastic clips that hold the fan to the MB are not build to last. The clips did last 2 years but you would think they would have lasted a lot longer than that

2 out of 5 eggsLasted 2 and a half years

Pros: Worked well, for 2 1/2 years

Cons: Mounting clips are pretty flimsy and cracked with age. The whole thing was NFG after 2 1/2 years.

Other Thoughts: For 40 bucks (when I bought it), I figured it should out-last some of the other pieces of the computer. The intel stock fan would have likely lasted longer. too bad it was just the plastic mounting clips, the fan worked fine.

4 out of 5 eggsFor $20 it's a terrific upgrade from stock cooler.

Pros: One of the easiest coolers I have ever installed on an Intel board.
90% of the performance of a Hyper 212 EVO for half the price.
4 direct contact heatpipes (just like the C.M. Hyper 212)

Cons: No LEDs on the fan.
Horrible thermal paste
(neither one of those things bothered me as I had a Corsair LED fan
I was going to put onto the heatsink anyways and I have a huge tube of MX-4)

Other Thoughts: I am able to get a 4.5GHz stable O.C. from my 4690K with this cooler so even though the Hyper 212 EVO might be slightly better it's not $20 better IMHO.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Heatsink

Pros: -Very Simple To Install, works nicely with my FX-8350.
-Outperformed the stock cooler by 20C-50C in most situations
-PWM fan is awesome

Cons: -No LED's in fan
-Not a fan of the stock thermal compound but it does work.

Other Thoughts: Its a heatsink its not rocket science, had no problem installing on an AMD board

2 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: super quiet

Cons: Unless you've the strength of a supernatural being, there is no way you are going to make this fit on an amd board. Maybe the one i got was just super super super lame....im not sure. The way it mounts on an amd board is sideways and it blocks off the ram. Returned immediately.
