5 out of 5 eggsMight have to get Speedfan

Pros: Completely silent while moving a lot of air at a low cost.

Cons: doesn't come with any software or drivers

Other Thoughts: So when I plugged this in, the fan only twitched, but never spun right. In an effort to get it to work, I installed a program called speedfan, and after messing with it as well as making Windows automatically starting it upon boot, the fan works as I want it too.

In other words, my motherboard didn't have the ability to control the fan itself, and I needed a 3rd party program.

I also had to put it on a bracket so as to fit in my silly OEM case and did not use the rubber mounts. Still silent even at full speed though. Tempted to get another 2 for a push-pull config.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, just what I needed

Pros: Quiet, moves enough air, speed control works great.

Cons: Could be cheaper... :-)

Other Thoughts: Installation was a bit tricky with the rubber mounts, but it works well once you get used to it. You really do have to pull on them pretty hard to get them to seat properly. Not a con, just something to note.

I'm running four in my case, and I can barely hear them. Much quieter than the screamers I had in there before, and they move a good amount of air too.

5 out of 5 eggsUnderrated Fan

Pros: These are very quiet and durable fans. Had them for a year and still going. The PWM is on the high end, which means it picks up speed after 70% PWM setting on my motherboard. Which is a nice feature since some mobo's don't allow you to go below 60% PWM.

Cons: No screws, only rubber mounts. The rubber mounts are a pain to install and remove.

5 out of 5 eggsNice fan all around

Pros: Quiet, the best thing about these fans. Also have good air flow and decent static air pressure. I have four of these in my case and they work quite well. Price on these fans is excellent for the way they perform.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsSuprise

Pros: Basic fan, silicon wire cover, no LEDs, no fancy blades. Spins at @ 500 to 2000 rpm like spec says. Rubber mounting grommets keep this fan very silent.

Cons: I could only get one. Newegg was out of stock. Had to find other brands with similar specs. Nexus D12SL-12PWM (clear plastic), Coolmaster Blade Master 120 (no rubber grommets).

Other Thoughts: I'll keep an eye out for these, everywhere.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent performance to noise ratio

Pros: I am using this as the case fan with no fan on the tower CPU heatsink, (also meant for 120mm fans and very close anyway) also since it's a 35 watt TDP chip. VERY quiet, for my use it only runs at 950rpm and keeps my cpu temp under 30C most of the time, as low as 25C minimum.

Cons: None really, could be cheaper but watch for rebate offers and sales..

Other Thoughts: For a low power machine with a SSD this is really all the cooling I need.

2 out of 5 eggsOkay

Pros: Quiet
Rubber grommets keep it quiet

Cons: The boxes smelled like fish, but I'm not sure that's entirely Rosewill's fault.
One of the fans was DOA. It would spin about a tenth of an inch, and stop.
Short power cable.
Rubber grommets are ANNOYING to install.

Other Thoughts: I don't really want to return it and get a replacement since I have another replacement fan, just don't see anything special about these.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan; it delivers

Pros: I bought this as a replacement fan I already had. The old fan was fine, but I needed a very silent fan that can be controlled by the MoBo instead of a pre-set speed fan. My AsRock MoBo controls this fan really well, and by making adjustments to the temperature-dependent fan speed control, I reduced the speed coming from my home server significantly.
Great price/performance ratio; I may get another one for an office desktop.

Cons: The stringy connectors feel like they would break during installation, but they held on well. This is not quite a con, but you may want to pay attention while installing so you don't snap these slingy things.

4 out of 5 eggsThey do the job

Pros: Good 120MM fans.
600-1300rpm
Not loud at all.

Cons: None, yet.

Other Thoughts: I purchased four of these fans in May 2013 which two are on a cooler master hyper 212 evo, another pushes air out the rear of my case. the forth fan is a backup fan in the event of bearing, fan, failure. The system runs around four hours a day and after five months the bearings are starting to go out in the rear fan. It's still running and may last several years in this condition. Waiting for it to cease up before replacing it with the backup.

I can recommend these fans without a doubt, the other two I've not had a single problem from, two are pwm controlled while the rear fan runs at 1,300 constantly to push out the warm air. I did remove one egg because the fan started to fail within one year.
