5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I can't believe this little thing brought down the temps of a 8800GTX down by 8C. It's not loud and it's almost as silent as the fan on the GPU. The cable is a pretty good length, it's long enough to hide behind the case.

Cons: None so far.

1 out of 5 eggsFail ... just fail

Pros: None that I have found.

Cons: I got it early on this day, and from the start there was a strange hum. Oddly it was working moving air but while playing BF3 my nvidia gtx 470 was 3-5 degrees warmer than without the fan. ( who knew ) then it died with the smell of burnt.

Other Thoughts: Should have got a fan that blows air up. Not sucks it out of the video card fan.

5 out of 5 eggsPleasantly Surprised!

Pros: - Quiet! Not absolutely silent, but for being plugged right into a Molex with no speed control, they're surprisingly quiet.

- PCI bracket comes off easily so you can flip the fan mounting and choose which direction it will pull air from.

- Moves a lot of air for a small fan!

Cons: - Doesn't fit in low profile case (not advertised to, though)
- Doesn't make coffee?

Other Thoughts: For less than $5 I had low expectations, but these have a very acceptable noise level and move a lot of air. I kind of had a dumb moment, and intended to put 1 of the 2 I purchased in my low-profile HTPC case. Well they're not low-profile... my mistake. However I ended up removing the PCI slot bracket and wedging the fan in my HTPC case... and it actually ended up working!

The other one went in my main desktop to help remove some heat from the fanless GPU I have.

2 out of 5 eggsRattle

Pros: Cheap, moves a lot of air

Cons: Cheap, developed an annoying rattling noise within a week of use

Other Thoughts: I don't mind a loud fan so much as a fan that makes a rattle/vibrating noise. This fan worked very well for 5 days before the rattle started. Its possible that pressure within my case from all the other fans might have caused this one to fail, but that still counts as poor reliability.

5 out of 5 eggsVERY NICE FAN!

Pros: This fan runs very well. The IDE power connector is actually pretty long which makes it nice that I can reach the rest of my IDE connectors. This thing really sucks! The heat out of my case XD. It definitely helps take the hot air straight off of the none cooled end of my GPU and it also blows the air out of the back helping the air flow in my case stay the same as I have my rig to keep the air all flowing in the same direction.

Cons: It is a little flimsy just because it doesn't really connect into anything it just gets held on by a screw. But no reason to take an egg from the product though!

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable heat extractor

Pros: Affordable, does it job... idle temps of my fanless HD 3450 was 57C now is 49C .. keeps the temps around 53C to 54C under load... games runs less laggy now.

Cons: It adds a little bit of noise... not too loud to be considered annoying or a con.

Other Thoughts: If you need extra cooling for your HTPC case .. this is the way to go.

4 out of 5 eggsFairly solid...

Pros: I got this case fan before I upgraded my case (only had one input and one rear exhaust 120mm fan set up previously), and after upgrading and overclocking some new components (nothing fancy, a Q6600 OCed to 3 GHz and a AMD HD 6850 OCed to 950/1100. Everything was running smoothly, just wanted to pull a few extra degrees off my CPU and it managed to do so for the time I had it without adding hardly any extra noise.

Cons: None really. You have to have an open PCI slot somewhere on your case that it will help your airflow. In tighter cases it can be more difficult to find a place to put this where it helps more than it hinders.

Other Thoughts: Since getting a new case (Rosewill Future Mid-Atx), I have a huge bump in fans (6 120mm case fans) and I added this one in because I had the place and I had the space. i don't think it really helps in this kind of setup, so if you are well stocked on fans like I happen to be now, probably don't bother. But if you want to pull a little extra air out of a case with no other fan expansions, give this fan a try. At around 5 bucks shipped, it does a decent job getting a few extra degrees out (if placed in vicinity of CPU and not interfering with push/pull setup). Now if only they made one that pulled air in instead of blew it out....
