Pros: excellent fan for the Half X cooler master case. fits into the Graphic card channel perfect. and it has a fan control knob that mounts to the back of the case in any Slot.

Pros: If you didnt need the "completely redundant and unnecessary backplate controller that cannot be removed", why you didnt get this one? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185060 it's the same fan without backplate controller.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fan, But Clumsy

Pros: Excellent airflow and noise levels, PWM control for use with software controllers.

Cons: Completely redundant and unnecessary backplate controller that cannot be removed. Providing alternate control for users without PWM headers is a good idea, but would've been better with a simple adapter, or a removable controller. I ended up having to unbolt the rheostat and switch from the backplate and tuck them away in a corner of my case.
