3 out of 5 eggsStrange rattling sound

Pros: Moves a great deal of air, thats honestly about it just look at the rpm and you will know what you're getting into

Cons: Strange rattling sound when you run them on low rpm, clearly they were not made for low RPM but at high RPM its sounds like you're in a wind tunnel.

Other Thoughts: I'd use these but the rattling is just a bit annoying I have to find a way to dampen the sound. Im looking into fan silencers maybe that will do the trick. Until then I'll use my headset.

5 out of 5 eggsYes it's loud but it works very well

Pros: I've had this in my OC'd pc for 18 months and it's still going strong. Moves a lot of hot air.

Cons: The one and only drawback. This fan is crazy loud. It's sound like a dang aircraft carrier in my room but it's well worth it.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It does its job. It keeps your computer cool.

Cons: It is extremely loud. I eventually took it out and replaced it after a year or so.

Other Thoughts: If you don't mind having the noise of a fan in the background while you are gaming, listening to music, etc, then buy this product.

3 out of 5 eggsCaution

Pros: Blows a lot of air.

Cons: Fairly noisy. Draws enough current that you should use an Ampex connector to your power supply and not connect direct to your MB.

Pros: Pushes a crazy amount of air while still running quiet. My case dropped 5 degrees after dropping this in.

Cons: None.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes job but sounds like LAWNMOWER

Pros: Keeps components running cool.

Cons: So loud that I can hear it in another room! I've seen people exaggerate on sound before but this fan is stupid loud.

Other Thoughts: If you don't care about noise, get it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Fan, Loud

Pros: This fan moves a ton of air. If you need good cooling, this will get the job done. The build quality is sturdy and I'm pretty sure it came with a molex adapter. You can't go wrong with a Scythe fan.

Cons: This fan is extremely loud. This is something I failed to consider when I bought this. I won't take an egg away for this because this is something I should have realized prior to buying.

Other Thoughts: If you need a good fan that moves a lot of air and noise isn't a problem, this one is for you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan, of course it's loud...

Pros: Moves a ton of air, I have 7 of these in my case, had them for years, and I'll buy more when these die. I've had no problems with any bearings going out or anything.

Cons: You either hook up a fan controller (all mine are on one) or you listen to the roar of 130 CFM being pumped through each fan. These are for a high end gaming rig and the noise isn't an issue for me, so these do a stellar job.

Other Thoughts: They're loud, but they cool like nothing else. I'm using 2 of these on an Antec 620 and I keep my 8350 @ 4.8 GHZ... 26 C idle.
