1 out of 5 eggs3 have died within 6 months

Pros: The H80 kept my CPUs at about 22c when idle.

Cons: Three of them flat out died within 6 months

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend anyone buy this junk.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks brand new!

Pros: new appearance and packaging, very low temps, fairly easy assembly, cheap

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I received a sealed package as if it was a new product! I couldn't find anything (besides the description on the sale page) that told me that it was refurbished... Great product and would surely buy it again as it's the same as new as far as I am concerned. Controls my FX-9590 perfectly even at 5.4 ghz and 218 watts of power usage!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Deal

Pros: Refurbished price was definitely a steal and I need a good cooler without all the fuss. Definitely enjoy this product.

Keeps my AMD FX-8350 really chill even at 4.5Ghz with idles @ 13-18C and only barely touches 45-50C under full load.

Even though it was refurbished, the packaging was like new and the product itself was in immaculate condition.

Cons: The fans that come with this thing sound like a generator just chugging away, they do a great job cooling but man are they loud.

Another thing, a huge flaw with this was that the 3-pin header that normally connects to the CPU header, is faulty and only has one wire connecting it, so it received no power. I had started my computer twice without realizing that the pump was not even working. It was simple enough to bypass this with the SATA power connection to provide power, but still, it's a major flaw if you don't notice it at first.

Other Thoughts: Overall I give this product high praises and it does its job fairly well. I am disappointed that the 3-pin header was such an oversight that could have easily been avoided and the fans could be quieter.

5 out of 5 eggs1 Year Review

Pros: Low Price.

Works to good.

Looked New.

Fans are feel real thick not that cheap plastic type some fans feel like.

Came with all the parts like it you bought it new.

Cons: Had little trouble installing it with my 8350. Keeping it still for me to twist it in place.

To Cheap :)

Other Thoughts: I really like this one for the price it works way to well i had to check my Cpu at times to see if all the cores where even working.

I do a lot of heavy gaming for hours upon hours. Never hit higher then 55c in the summer (Cpu @4.2). On low fan settings (They are 3 types of fan settings) I recommend low. The fans do get really loud upon the third settings. Like there is a jet about to take off inside your room.

I do think the H80 is really underrated it's has been out for awhile and still does better then some of the other liquid cooling other brands has put out. Or even some of the newer Cpu coolers Corsair has made.

1 out of 5 eggsgood but incompatible with 775 socket

Pros: it has a button on the cpu heatsink to control the fans for lvl 1 2 and 3 which is a neat feature (if only it made a difference). i would also suppose it generally keeps low temps?

Cons: it isnt compatible with the 775 socket. yes they claim it is, but it isnt. first i installed it and i saw temps on my q6600 of above 70C. then i looked online that someone else had problems with the same motherboard as mine and his fix was to install the heatsink 90 degrees clockwise/ counter clockwise. so i did install it clockwise and it made a difference.

before i did it though i checked the paste that was already on the heatsink and by my surprise none of it had come off onto the cpu. only the edge of the right side. so i tested it before screwing it back in to see if the paste would come off by rotating. sure enough it came off but not all of it. i figured id place it on and test it out.

didnt make much difference. temps are now around 60 on normal load and 55 on no load. (celcious )

Other Thoughts: i suppose this works fine with other sockets but with the intel 775 socket IT DOES NOT WORK. if you have that socket then STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy on sale.

Pros: Pretty easy to install using instructions that I found online. My case is pretty small/tight but I was able to squeeze it in there and it's working just fine. Keeps the cpu running real cool. It's still early spring here in upstate NY so the weather helps but I went from mid 40s idle to upper 60s C at full load to 9 C idle/25 C max under load, and that's on the default middle setting. (There's 3) Putting it on the performance (max) setting it dropped to 0 C idle and only hit about 13-14 C under load. I don't play many extremely high end graphics games (lotro and swtor are about it) but for what I need it's more than effective.

Cons: Instructions were junk. If this is your first time installing a water cooler then make sure you have an alternative access to the 'net. (phone, laptop, etc.)

Other Thoughts: If this is your first time, be careful and make sure you understand what you're doing before doing any step. Online videos make it very easy though.

3 out of 5 eggsStupidly loud

Pros: -Very cold cooling for your CPU
-Somewhat low profile
-Newegg was very helpful when I accidentally ordered 2 of them

Cons: -The fans are really loud, like, really loud. You can manage them and how fast they move in the bios but that moves to problem #2.
-The pump is really loud, louder than all the other fans in my computer, I unplugged ALL my fans and this pump was still making really loud noises
-The radiator and the fans combined take up a lot of space and you will have difficulty seating them in most cases. I had to put one on the outside of my case.

Other Thoughts: Is it supposed to be so loud?
Is there a problem?

5 out of 5 eggsWorked great!

Pros: Lowered my temp by 10c ... Easy install .

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: When i ordered it was a refurb but when it showed up it was brand new in the box w/ plastic and all.. Nothing was striped as far as the screw holes go. overall im very happy with this product and it keeps my cpu running so cool... playing high end games my cpu does not go over 42c. Recommend this product to anyone looking to replace factory cooling and dont have much room in there case. One thing i did do was put one fan outside the case in the rear and one in the case as i needed room for my upper 240 fan to exhaust the air. runs smooth .

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: It's as cool as a cucumber! During normal operation my FX-8350 4GHz runs between 22-26C, under load it never gets about 50C. I can overclock it to 5GHz and it might jump about 5 degrees. I simply don't OC it because it's lightning fast as is, and OC'ing it makes my room heat up like a sauna (I have bad ventilation).

I can't comment on the pump's power buttons (directly on top the pump) I just put it on full blast, and then adjust the fans for the radiator through Asus BIOS.

The design seems to be pretty sturdy. Read more on this below

Cons: The enormous radiator may be a size issue with those of you who have small cases like my Sentey Abbadom 3. I actually had to remove the rear top fan because the radiator with fans on either side mounted where my rear fan would be were getting in the way.

This enormous radiator may also give you the impression that the stock corsair 120MM fans are loud. No. They just push a lot of air through that rad, and the sound of air blowing through the radiator makes lots of racket when the fans rev up.

The shell that goes on top of the pump (where the power buttons are) is flimsy, and has fallen off multiple times when moving the computer. I just slapped it back on though, it didn't affect anything.

Other Thoughts: Getting this badboy for $40 refurbished was a steal! I'm not even sure why it was called refurbished because it came brand spankin new, plastic shrink and everything :D. Couldn't be more happy with this purchase.
