5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Put this baby on my brand new AMD 8350 which on top of that sits on the Asus Sabertooth 990FX REV3 2.0 and i've clocked to nearly 6ghz and not once has this H80 let CPU temp rise above 43C. Even in games on the highest quality. Highly Recommend that you get this if you desire heavenly overclock speeds at stable environment.

Cons: the instructions are a bit whack.

Other Thoughts: If you are a person with high knowledge with this sort of thing it won't matter but it doesn't mention in the instructions about the choices you have to plug the two fans into the corsair cooling unit itself or onboard chassis or as my case came with a front fan control tuner. So my point is that it doesn't weigh in on the options and say which would be best. I do have to note that You can get WAY MORE RPMS with your two cooling fans that wrap around the radiator if you use a RPM fan control unit like I have, up to 5x the amount of RPM. You can moniter your RPM though if you plug your fans into the chassis on your motherboard, so the choice is yours.

3 out of 5 eggsSolid.

Pros: The only good that i can think about this is that it has a solid corsair build quality and is watered cooled.

Cons: The stock fans are really loud, i counter this by buying noctua fans. Noctua made a huge leap in noise level, how ever i had to buy these separately and now im stuck with stock fans that came with the cooler.

Other Thoughts: I gave this 3 eggs over all. It did not cool my cpu like i hoped for. I can try chaining the direction of the air flow from outside to inside the case but i don't want to get dust inside. I had the zalman air cooling solution before this that did a much better job. At this point i cannot even overclock the cpu because by temps on load are 55C. Maybe its because i have the corsair 550d case.

Anyway the only thing i get out of this purchase was a much quieter computer after i bought the noctua fans. There fore i can only give it 3 eggs. Maybe you will have a different experience if you have a different case with more airflow.

5 out of 5 eggsruns really cool

Pros: Popped this on top of my 8350 (running it stock really no need to OC, it's already stupid fast) Keeps idle temps at 10-12c. 41c max running prime 95. I didn't even need the installation manual - anyone who has half a brain should be able to install this. I was also shocked that it was refurbished, it came brand new.

Cons: installation, if your'e not experienced in, well building computers. It does 'jet' out quite a bit if you install both fans on the radiator.

Other Thoughts: Take your time installing this. MEASURE your case! This is worth it. I was going to get the h100, (refurb one is on new egg for bout 10bucks cheaper than this) but there's just that certain point where everything is overkill and space.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent for AMD 8350

Pros: Nicely priced, got it at $64.99 refurbished.
Have clocked my 8350 to 5.07 Ghz (230 FSB x 22 ) and temps at 28 degrees celsius without load and about 40 with load.
Fans push a lot of air

Cons: Some of the fins came bent and one screw thread was a little loose but I did not expect perfection with refurbished.
Installing this on the cpu was awkward, time consuming and it kept slipping. This needs a steady hand as it has two thumb male screw ends to be placed on cpu socket then through the cpu block of the cooler and then topped off with a screw thumb.

Other Thoughts: I have an Antec 300 case and mounting this at top with the recommended air in meant I had to change the front two fans of the case to air out.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Cooling System!

Pros: Virtually silent, quick installation, effective cooling at a good price.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Keeps my proc at roughly 87F even AFTER overclocking my FX-8130 WHILE playing Skyrim, or AC3 on highest settings. This is my first cooling system, (which I bought refurbished) and I am (so far) very pleased with it's performance.

5 out of 5 eggsLike New

Pros: It keeps my amd 8350 8 core cpu in the low 30s it is quite in my case and it came looking brand new with plastic and everything even though it was refurbished and I wasn't expecting all the original stuff and box..

Cons: no cons just one dumb mistake on my part...I didn't measure my case right and I have ordered another case because I like this cooler so much so make sure you measure you case right when deciding if you want this because its bigger in person than it looks in the picture

Other Thoughts: one of the fans took a small peace of the end of my finger off and it hurts when I type......

5 out of 5 eggsMove over Noctua

Pros: This cooler is a Monster! I'm running an older Core I7 on a 1366 Motherboard (which means a lot more heat than the newer models), and I am pulling 39 degrees Celsius on Medium fan settings! If you are building an NZXT system I would go with the Kraken X40 or X60 as they get slightly higher cooling rates (even though the fans are loud as hell), but if you are building ANY other Core I7 system, the Corsair H80 or H100 are the only CPU coolers to even think about.

Cons: None with the operation, but be wary--if you change over to a close-looped water cooled CPU fan, make sure that your case has plenty of room for the radiator and double fans. Even though the space used above the CPU is minimal, the space used at the rear case fan area or top case fan area is pretty thick.

5 out of 5 eggsRefurb'ed..?

Pros: Perfect shape. If this unit was refurbished I can't tell. Previous owner must have taken pride in their hardware because I could not tell. Not a scratch or dinged radiator fin, nothing. It does what it is designed for.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Intel Burn Test 2.54 results -
H80 High and 14096MB RAM; 37.1C peak temp, 36C average temp and 6.9C Idle temp.
H80 Low and 14096MB RAM; 39C peak temp, 38.1C average temp and 9.9C Idle temp.

5 out of 5 eggsTotally worth it.

Pros: Fantastic liquid cooling system.

Very easy to install.

Great price point.

Keeps my CPU at 36 degrees idle and 52 degrees on heavy load.

Fantastic for overclocking, my FX 8120 is OC to 4.1 GHz.

Cons: Fans are a bit loud but you get use to it.
