Pros: Using with a i5-3570K at 4.3GHz. Fits on my motherboard no problem. Reduced my overclocked CPU maximum temps by about 7C on the Prime95 test. (note that prime95 100% maxes out your CPU. The temps listed are not the average temps during the test but the absolute maximum that I could reach.) My Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition 120mm fan fits perfectly with the included brackets and allowed me to shave a few degrees more off max temps. The cooler also was able to fit over my low-profile Corsair Vengeance ram sticks without any problem. All in all it is definitely worth $20 (On sale with mail-in-rebate).

Cons: None, this product meets my expectations.

Other Thoughts: Note that in order to mount this cooler your going to need to have access to the back of your motherboard. My case allowed me to install the mounts without any problems but depending on your case you may have to remove your motherboard, but this is unlikely if you have a gaming case of any kind.

Pros: It keeps my FX-8320 cool despite overclocking. Direct contact copper pipes makes it a good choice if you don't want to buy the 212 EVO.

Cons: It's a bit difficult to install, but that's about it.

Other Thoughts: It's a fantastic heatsink. If you don't want watercooling and a great heatsink without spending too much money, this is your choice.

Pros: Does exactly what it's designed to do.
Took 45c idle down to 30c
Superbly keeps i5 @ 4.5Ghz cool at full load. 70c w/ 1.3v
Attachments for an extra fan for the other side

Cons: Instructions were oddly done.
This is my first aftermarket heat sink and while I know how it works, the instructions actually made me second guess myself. It was one of those times you throw out the manual, analyze the parts, and use your brain to put it together. Worked for me.

Other Thoughts: Finally started using realtemp to track my core temps of my i5 4690k and found they were going sky high when it jumped up the clock in turbo causing BSOD's. Threw this cooler in and fixed it all up. Left me with plenty of room to overclock and kick up the voltage. Very happy.

Pros: I purchased this guy well over a year ago, and had been using it with truly great results on an aggressively overclocked 6-core FX-6300 Vishera. Indeed, its 4 direct-contact heat-pipes proved to be extremely effective at carrying heat away from this CPU. When installed properly, all downward pressure of the cooler's base onto the CPU is applied via a single peg pressing down on the exact center of the cooler base/CPU "sandwich" -- this insures a very homogeneous contact of the cooler's base with the CPU's surface, even with slightly uneven torque applied to the cooler's 4 corner mounting screws. I mounted this cooler with two fans attached and oriented it so that the fans would blow from bottom (drawing outside air directly off my side intake fan) to top and out though my 140 mm top-mounted exhaust fan. Temps of my FX-6300 (clocked @ 4.4GHz) never exceeded 48 degrees C while running Prime 95.

Cons: As my review title states, this cooler is more efficient for AMD CPUs than it is for Intel CPUs. When I recently installed this cooler onto my Intel 3.33 GHz core 2 Duo E8600 (socket 775), clocked @ 4.16 GHz, I found the CPU temperatures would run unacceptably high. Upon close examination, I found the cooler's two outside heat-pipes were running much cooler than the two inside heat-pipes (actually almost cold), even with my E8600 approaching 70 degrees C. So, I pulled off the cooler to see what I could see. And what I found were only two distinct tracks through the thermal paste on the CPU and thermal paste covering only about half the width of each of the cooler's outside heat-pipes. For one thing, this showed that the cooler's aluminum base does not physically touch the CPU, only the heat-pipes touch (because they protrude down just a hair from the aluminum base). And for another thing, it revealed that only about half the width of each of the two outside heat-pipes had come in contact with the surface of the CPU, explaining why they remained so cool. Time for some measurements! (See other thoughts for my findings.)

Other Thoughts: As it turns out, AMD's entire line of AM, AM2, AM2+, AM3, and AM3+ CPUs all have a 38 x 38mm top surface with sharp fall-off (non-beveled) edges. As such, they all can fully accommodate the 33mm side-by-side span of the 4 heat-pipes on this cooler -- each heat-pipe is 6mm wide and they are space 3mm apart, resulting in a total span of 33mm. Intel socket LGA 775 CPUs (like mine), on the other hand, have only a 28 x 28mm top surface with about 1mm of beveling on each of the surface edges, which results in about only a 26 x 26mm flat surface available to contact a heatsink. Accordingly, when this cooler is mounted on a socket LGA 775 CPU, there is an overhang of about 7mm, where if the cooler base is perfectly centered on the CPU, 3.5mm (more than half the width) of each of the two outside heat-pipes fail to contact the CPU. Thus, you effectively realize the cooling efficiency of only 3 heat-pipes (actually slightly less). Those owning an Intel socket LGA 2011 processors you are in luck, because these processors are physically much larger than the previous generation CPUs and have contact surface area of 38 x 38mm, equal to that of the AMD CPUs. Bottom line: If you have an Intel CPU, do your measurements!

Pros: - Overclocked I5 stays relatively cool when gaming (60-65) unless under extreme stress testing (67-69)
- Looks cool
- Pretty easy to mount. The brace that holds it to the mobo is mounted first, then the cooling pipes are mounted on to that.

Cons: - High 60's might be a bit hot, I'm not sure though
- When its hot, you can hear the fan spin up. Its not silent.

Other Thoughts: For the price ($20) with rebate this is a great cooler. If you want something more quiet though, and a little better maybe the EVO would be a better option.

mounting hardware and thermal paste are neatly arranged and held in a foam insert.

Cons: cooler is big but fits in a standard pc case.
installation instructions comes in the form of diagrams, a little description would have been helpful.

Other Thoughts: There are 4 screws that is used to secure a mounting plate at the back of the motherboard. One of the screws does not have a notch that enables it to easily slide through the mounting plate.
