3 out of 5 eggsMove lots of air but loud

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Large fans that move a lot of air

Cons: at the sacrifice of being loud.

Other Thoughts: Anything but silent as the name implies but they move a lot of air. Had to move tower under the desk to make it a little quieter so now cant enjoy blue led's as much. Oh well. Maa can you turn the vacuum cleaner off I'm on the computer!!! Oh it's the silent fans!

4 out of 5 eggsFans can be hard to review

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: First and foremost, the fan has a high RPM which matters to me in my cooling setup. This fan also looks great, the combination of black and blue matches my build perfectly. I would say the LEDs have a slick, sleek nature to their shimmer.

Cons: First of all, these fans are pretty loud. I don't care about this, but it can be a annoying and deserves a docking of one egg.

Other Thoughts: These fans aren't quite as bright as the two Antec fans they replaced. I generally only use ball bearing fans, but the rebate and high RPM make for a great deal. What can I say, Cooler Master is a good brand and I have no problem running two brands of fans, even if they do look slightly different.

5 out of 5 eggsLoud but can be fixed

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: -despite all the comments complaining about the noise it can be quieted, buy a decent fan controller or a splitter for the cables to get it down to the optimal 1800rpms it needs to get the 19dBa
-i love the blue led, it would be cool to have the led in the fan but what ever, makes a black case look nice
-right now I am doing it wrong I have both facing out but I am switching it to cycle air through, there are 2 sets of mount points on the fan allowing it to be switched around to push or pull air.

Cons: -loud without a controller

Other Thoughts: I'm ordering a fan controller asap, the noise is way too much, but for being 8$ plus 5 off after rebate it's still a good deal

5 out of 5 eggsNice, inexpensive fan!

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: cheap
pushes lots of air
cool and blue

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: You're getting a good fan for cheap.
The 19 dba listed for this fan should be taken heavily salted. (as should the 69 cfm) There are no cheap fans that push lots of air AND are super quiet. That being said, this fan does pretty well.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and reliable.

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: -Quiet
-Seems to cool my computer very well, my pc have never been that cool!
-Cool LED lights

Cons: -Nothing really.

Other Thoughts: I had to buy a new fan for my pc since my one was broken, I got this one since it was pretty cheap. Appart from the struggle I had installing it (because of those weird rubber screws wich comes with my case) everything is working very well. It sounds like what my fan used to be when it was still alright, wich became very noisy by the weeks before its failure. Right now, everything seems to be going much cooler, I had to replace my old one for this one since my PC started to smell like burned plastic and right now, I can't even feel any heat by touching at my PC, wich I used to be able very easily. The temperature of the CPU are around 30-40 celcius in idle at the moment. The fan also come with a LED light (blue in this case) wich I haven't bought the fan for, but it is pretty nice looking. Unless it breaks in the next weeks/months I can say that I recommend this product.

1 out of 5 eggs2 of 3 went bad in just over a month :(

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: I'm usually a big fan of Cooler Master products but beware of these fans.

Cons: 2 of the 3 I ordered for replacements on my case went bad in just over a month. May be a bad production run but those are bad odds. Went bad = became extremely noisy and took on terrible vibration that escalated from minor to cringe worthy in less than 48 hours after running smoothly for over a month. So at least they fail fast.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend, would not order again.
