Cooler Master Notepal X2 Laptop / Notebook Cooling Pad, up to 17” (140mm Adj. Fan Speed)

Pros: Light Frame, looks

Cons: I tested laptop playing duex ex human revolution. Temperature while playing was 57 with notepal on max fan speed. I shut off the notepal to test. Still 57. Iddle tempatures are about 47/48 again with or without notepal on.

What a waste of money.

Pros: It's very quiet for me, I've never had a problem with noise and it helps cool my laptop. Playing games on my laptop warms it up quite quickly when it's using the nVidia card as oppose to the Intel card, and this keeps it to a very tolerable level.

Cons: After about a year and a half to two years the little rubber bit fell off. Re-glue and it's great. I'm only replacing it for a larger model to circulate more air.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a good, comfortable stand for your laptop this one is great. It's good for travel, i've always kept it close. The LED's are cool, and even when the laptop is on them it can be seen through the back. The USB ports work great.

Pros: Quiet, sturdy

Cons: Would like to see USB placement on either side instead of back

Pros: Have had this cooler for over a year now, almost 2. Use it about 40 hours a week, has yet to fail. Keeps my Samsung qx410 noticeably cooler to the touch. Have been very happy with it, and extra usb port makes it easy to use with my mouse. Laptop will slide down the front every now and then, not a big issue though

Cons: Doesn't always grip laptop enough

Pros: Great fan speed, perfect size fit for 17" laptops, cool blue led fan, extra usb option and the angle is just perfect.

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: i believe it should have some sort of rubber support at the bottom to stay put on tables but i can also see why the laptops weight should it down. Sooner or later laptop's weight are going to decrease since laptop's sizes are getting thinner in width. Not a con for me since my laptop is pretty heavy.

Other Thoughts: Although it does keep my laptop cooler, it's not by much. The laptop CPU ran around 60 degrees before I used the laptop cooler, now it's around 54 degrees. It does keep it cool, but I expected at least 10 degrees cooler.

Pros: None

Cons: This is the buggiest laptop I have ever seen. It refuses to run without blue screening. We ordered this early for Christmas, opened Christmas Day, starts crashing immediately. Newegg refuses to take it back because it's past their 30 day return. Don't order a laptop from newegg for a Christmas present.

Pros: Nice notebook cooler ! I bought it for my Sager 9150 and it really help keeping it cool ! The fan are REALLY quiet and not to fast (which can be damageable for your laptop)

Cons: The reason I only put 4 stars is because, for any reasons, my laptop cant stay put on it while on my desk. It keeps gliding and falling down. It would have been better to have some kind of stoppers. Maybe its my laptop tho. So overall, good product !!!

Pros: Love this cooler. Runs quite, its nice and light weight, but doesn't feel cheap. The laptop sits on the metal grating. USB powered, but has an extra USB plug so you don't have to sacrifice a port on your computer. The cable is on the right side which works out perfectly on my T60. Keeps my PC nice an cool (My lappy always runs hot like a mother...). The blue light is a nice subtle effect, you don't see it much cause the laptop takes up most of the space. Adjustable fan speed is nice but, I always keep mine on high since its not very loud. I also appreciate the switch to turn the fan on and off as I please. I got this on sale for $15. Great buy. Great Product.

Cons: Not really a con but don't really have a need for the rubber feet that pop out. The angle is appropriate enough without them, but they don't hurt anything.

Other Thoughts: The only thing that might make this better is if it had additional USB ports for expansion. However since there is only ever 2 things plugged into my laptop (This cooler and a power cord) My laptop is very easily disconnected when I have to go.

Pros: Sturdy. look nice.

Cons: I have used many cooling pads from various manufactures. This one is worst one. This cooling pad is very loud, and LED lights is annoying. The height of the product is tall for keyboard typing. Inefficient design - the metal mesh blocks airflow.
The worst thing about the product is Cooler master's rebate. It is the worst of the worst. Don't expect to get rebates from Velocity Fulfillment, Inc. - cooler master rebate service. They will refuse and deny your rebate with all kinds of excuses. I have contact Newegg.com with this issue and even Newegg.com said I am eligible for the rebate but Cooler Master refused my submission. Very disappointed and frustrated. Never buy anything from Cooler Master.

We are sorry to hear you are having trouble with our cooler. In regards to the speed / noise level of the cooler, the cooler has a fan speed control on the left side. You can adjust the speed if you believe the fan is too noisy or if you need more air. In regards to the rebate, it requires that you provide a purchase receipt, the rebate form and the upc barcode cut off of the packaging of the cooler. You also have to fall in line within the purchase date range mentioned on the rebate form.
